What really left a bad impression, though, was the service. After taking only one spoonful, I politely explained that I didn't like the dish and asked if they could remove it. They refused, even though it was obvious that I hadn't eaten it. I understand restaurants have policies, but a little flexibility and customer service would have gone a long way.
