I have been going here for 28 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Family owned, honest, great work and pricing.

UPDATE: Nothing bad to say just, cannot get over how above and beyond this shop will go for you…read more Took my truck in for an oil change yesterday and they took amazing car of me. The mechanic, Shane, was incredibly thorough and the fact that I know I can trust that the things they tell me I need are actually needed instead of just trying to make a buck off me is the best part. They will also give me a heads up of things I need in the future so I can financially plan for it. Even the car cleaner is wonderful. He went above and beyond and cleaned the inside of my passenger window because soil oil spray has gotten into the window well and I hadn't had a chance to clean it yet. I've been taking my 2019 Suburban and my previous 2009 Silverado to Stop N Go for probably more than 10 years. Shane, Matt and Todd always make sure they take the best care of me. I recently moved 2+ hours away but still take my Suburban to them for my regular maintenance because I trust their knowledge, skill and honesty the most that I couldn't imagine putting my truck in someone elses care. Thanks for always taking care of me and making sure I'm safe, as well as always making me feel like family rather than just a customer. It's comforting to not have to worry and be able to trust in a world full of worry and distrust!

I had a warning light for transmission service so when I Googled the warning it said transmission…read moreservice was required and a likely cause was a pressure sensor . I called Stop N Go to set up an appointment and was told the fee would be $140 and we would go from there . When they called back to tell us the status of their findings they also included other error codes that popped up when they plugged in the diagnostic tool . Long story short it would be over $1,000 including tax to address their findings and they offered no guarantee that this was the answer to the problem . I asked for a breakdown of their cost and I found the cost of the OEM sensor was inflated from $150 to $350 and of course another $180 labour to change it . Their cost to change the transmission fluid was $330 over the phone but $270 when I asked for the costs in print . The cost is $149 to flush and change the transmission fluid at Speedy . The $140 diagnostic fee went form $140 to $189 to tell me exactly what I learned on the internet before I brought it in . They also claimed it took them two hours of shop time to diagnose this as well . They had the car for a total of two hours from the time we dropped it off and I do not believe it was worked on for two hours . They did make a show to pull it down from the hoist when we came to pick it up . We gave the job to Speedy and they did the complete job with a new OEM pressure sensor the same day for $470 . So at the end of the day I saved over $600 with Speedy .Im also out $213.53 ($189 plus tax) to realize "Stop N Go" are a "No Go" . Beware , these guys tried to take advantage of us and I am sure they will do it to you too . The only good thing about this is I can warn you here .

I've been going to Future Trends for the past few years after seeing so many great reviews and…read morerecommendations on a Facebook Group called Burlington Together and I'm so glad I listened. Where other mechanics might otherwise upsell you or commit you to extra work, I've actually had several instances where they've come back and given me the facts to help make a decision on how to proceed after a diagnostic and often they've even been honest about work that can be deferred or omitted completely. Don't really see that much, in my experience. No sticker shock either, the service fees also felt proportional and reasonable or well within their estimates, if not lower than estimated. Finally, I've dealt with the same receptionist there since we switched over and I've always felt she was professional and knowledgeable. Maybe not overly bubbly or sweet or anything, but why would that be a deal-breaker to the point that you would stop going to a unicorn mechanic? This is referring to a previous review complaining about the receptionist, but praising Dan the the shop. My guess is you'll end up back there within the year. I don't tend to pay much attention to reviews from people who only go on these pages to complain, and out of your 30 reviews they 28 of them have been 1s or 2s out of 5. That's not feedback that's entitlement.

This post is about the receptionist, Jenn. She has to be the nastiest receptionist I have ever…read moredealt with. She acts like she is doing you a favor by allowing you to speak to her. I have been taking my cars to Dan over the years, maybe since he began his business. This woman will talk down to you over the phone or not even look at you when you are in the shop. She thinks she is getting one over on you by using language that only most mechanics will understand, but what she is really doing is losing good customers for Dan. I will never go back to Future Trends because of Jenn; it's too bad because Dan is a good person.
