My cat Jerry was on deaths door.... He was severely constipated for 4 days and after going to a different vet who misdiagnosed him with a disease, I decided to come here for a second opinion. So glad I did!!! Dr. Paulson and staff Destiny, Kendall everyone saved my little guys life today!!! She was able to go in and manually remove all fecal matter that was stuck in his guts. They took such good care of him!!! Wish I came here sooner. Even cleaned his ears for him. Kendall was able to get me in right away. Cannot thank you enough. Guys if you own cats please please keep an eye on them and give them a preventative hair ball control supplement or treat. This is serious and they can die from being severely constipated. read more

Many months ago I brought my cat in with a hematoma in her ear, the emergency hospital could have done the surgery that morning but the senior vet said he could do the surgery. I went to pick her up and was guided into a room with a young women vet who without my permission did the surgery she was out of vet school 3 months. I was told the vet watched her but he said he had to leave early to take his wife to the hospital. it was illegal for him to let her do the surgery by herself. He said he watched her the entire time. THEN WHY DID HE NOT DO IT HIMSELF IF HE HAD THAT KIND OF TIME I HAD NOT GIVEN PERSMIISION FOR ANHYONE ELSE TO DO THE SUGERY. I went back again I said my cat is not well, They said she won't have to eat or drink water for three days NOT TRUE one of the vet assistance was like a mad dog ( I love dogs but this was nuts) staring me down there to protect her and agreed. At three am my cat was drinking tons of water I rushed her to emergency where the doctor said she had almost no electro lites and was trying to supply them by drinking she could not! she was on deaths door. She said did they not give her an IV this was wrong who monitored this cat? I said I don't know when I called the vet he would not refund me, he was sweet but it was an act, I deserved to b e paid for. both the surgery and the emergency hospital, I should have taken them to small claims court but I was so upset I could not write this review until. now. This place and his too sweet response was an act I believed he has many years of being this way but when his vet made a mistake she didn't take responsibility. He said he had to leave his wife was sick and he had to take her to the hospital (oh sympathy for him now) well if she is that sick call an ambulance. Yep everyone loves this vet but he did not take financial responsibility for his mistake and the emergency hospital notes mention. the surgery was not right. (in medical terms ) they have Mal practice I submitted it to them they said they passed it along but I never heard back they simply evaded responsibility. This man took zero responsibility my sister has Parkinson's I don't drive her to the hospital I call an ambulance! they are not expensive maybe 150.00 I spent close to 4,000 for the emergency hospital and his cocky knows it all vet student.the next vet commented on wow so any stitches he laughed! This office is all about the $$. I bought their "puppy package" for over $600 which included a 15% "discount" for neutering and some vax, a single nail clip, worming medicine that's very expensive after the 2 doses they give, etc. The price for neutering with their discount is between $719- $819 depending on the weight of the dog. I called 9 veterinarians before finding this one. No one was willing to take a new patient. This clinic got us an appointment the same week. They were very helpful and welcoming. I really liked the vet we saw. He didn't oversell anything. Just took care of the problem with our dog and sent us on our way without adding a million things like vet offices normally do. Dr. Blake saw my sweet babe--I was concerned that she had a uti and the clinic was able to get a swift appointment via a cancellation. Dr. Blake had a lovely balance of kindness and clinical acumen. They are VERY good,.. so they are very busy. We've gone into two other clinics which were good - but MVVC is great! When my wife took our aging dog into the clinic for the first time, she was trying to get a sense of the overall vibe of the place. They were amazing in all categories! Yesterday we had our first visit for our pup, Maggie, with Dr Frederickson. My son, Maggie and I all had a great time, weird to say about a vet appt, but we did! First time client, took my Maltese in for a dental exam. Paid 50.00 (not bad) for the exam. The vet tells me my dog has healthy teeth but may have an infection. He then explains (very fast) that my dog needs all types of dental treatments (can't remember all he said) (Speed talking) but the price was an estimated $1,000.00 (I felt like I was listening to an auctioneer) The price could be more if he has to remove any teeth. If that is the case, he would have to add in an hourly rate which would depend on how long it took. He then tells me my dog has something wrong with his shoulder and needs surgery to repair. (Nothing is wrong with his shoulder) I do not recommend anyone going here as it seems like they are overpricing treatments and could possibly be adding things in that are not needed. I ended up taking my dog over to VCA Animal Hospital in Medford and was treated with integrity and got an appointment scheduled for his dental work with an estimate of $545.00 First time clients should be treated much better. Dr. Jochum, Stevie and staff are all nothing short of amazing!! My girl Ava is a staffordshire terrier and we are new patients to mvv clinic but don't get confused we are frequent flyers. We have spent the last four Fridays at the clinic and feel we have been treated nothing short of family. Being a "pit bull" owner I have moved vets often due to feeling judged or feeling that my pet would be quickly muzzled and restrained when shes out of my site. This office was nothing but loving toward my sweet girl. Stevie always asks for her hello kisses and goodbye licks from Ava. My girl is sweet, kind and gentle and I thank mvv clinic for seeing her as who she is and not what the media makes these dogs out to be. For a veterinary clinic, this place does not seem to care very much about the animals well-being at all. Our breeder scheduled an appointment for our puppy to have his 12 week vaccine, because no one around here is accepting new clients. She brought him in to this clinic for his initial 8 vaccines, and she takes her dog there. No one wants a new puppy to get sick and die because they can't get their parvo vaccine. We went in to Mt. View, gave them the breeders name and the puppy's collar color. They took him back. Then brought me & my 11 year old son and told us they would not give the puppy his NECESSARY vaccines, because they are "not accepting new clients." I explained that they were going to give him the vaccine under the breeders name. What's the damn difference? They will be paid for!! This office and the staff are rude, they are definitely not someone I will ever recommend. They could care less about the if the poor animals live or die. I called this office of which my dog is a regular patient. I reported that my dog was bleeding hoping to get help. The reply was " sorry we don't have any openings until next week" This is not the first time we have encountered a cold attitude trying to secure care for our pets. Perhaps these folks are swamped with more than they can handle we can make it easier for them. I don't often review but we are really discouraged by this attitude. read more

This is the worst, most uncaring veterinarian clinic I have EVER known. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Especially during Covid. They are judgmental. Never returns calls. Gave my baby a very scary diagnoses WITHOUT even attempting an decent exam. Plus they did not even do what I asked. Charged me a small fortune. Dr. Fredericks is caring, objective and well informed. After 2 months at another clinic, my dog was dying in front of my eyes. After a thorough examination, Prescription Food was prescribed as well as medication given. My dog is on the way to good health. Dr.Landon continued with the same diagnostic care as the dermatologist I had taken my dog to in the bay area prior to my move to Oregon and we have gotten to some point of stability regarding his diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Landon was very unprofessional, treating me and my animal like a dollar sign. Trying to persuade me to buy pharmaceuticals that were unnecessary. I have been to many vets in the Valley and he is by far the worst. He seemed as if he didnt like my animal, wich by the way is a PUG, and really nice one at that. i mean yeah hes not the greatest looking creature but he is a very good mannered animal, DR. Landon seemed to push me out the door with a bill rather than caring for the well bieng of my dog. He also ran tests on him for something i already had known was wrong, and i had stated very clearly that i did not want the test... I moved out of San Francisco and then Contra Costa County recently & thought I had some pretty good vets. Well I can confidently say that Dr. Landon rates very highly, if not higher than many of the vets my pets have seen throughout the years. I have seen several vets who really lacked not just the customer service aspect not to mention the compassion to care for these very important family members. Dr. Landon offers that while at the same time being professional. I found his office by doing a search & looking at reviews. I am so glad that I did.
