When they say they care about your pets, they actually mean it. They completely fill you in on what the treatment plan is. Treating you with respect and compassion is the standard. I brought my cat in after taking him to SOVSC and being presented with only a $500-$700 bill and not even an iota of information about what the proposed treatment entailed. When I go to all creatures, the doctor quickly explain to me the procedures that they were going to be doing with that look like over the next few days what would happen after that treatment was complete in and potential scenarios that could occur after that initial treatment. I gladly played my deposit to the people I knew actually cared about my pet. This is the best veterinary clinic out there. Period. read more

What do you get when you find a place that's always busy/packed, loves your pet as much as you do, vets who are practical and charge you a reasonable price to care for them? Answer:All Creatures Animal Hospital. It's a bit tough to become a new patient/client but once established you quickly realize it's all well worth the wait. Last week, our Olde English Bulldog was having a goopy eye and a mucousy nose. We called early in the day and they were already booked, but suggested coming in anyways to get on the walk in list. We got there around 10:00 and checked in then was told to go home or take care of errands and they would call us when we were about 1/2 hr before getting a slot. Around 2:00 they called us to come back, got there and only waited 5 min before getting into a room and being seen. Vet suggested x-ray... I took a deep breath knowing it was a must and expecting a triple digit cost... she says it's only $25, and explains they want people to afford being able to take good care of their pets. Phew! Pneumonia then confirmed, sent home w antibiotics and only $70 for the X-ray, office visit and meds. It's a breath of fresh air to know there's still businesses out there that understand gouging people isn't the only way to make money. A reasonable, lower cost coupled with excellent care keeps them fully booked everyday...and their clients happy and willing to wait for such an awesome vet. read more

My animals will always come here... we always wait but it because they truly take the time needed with every patient and try to get you in if it's at all possible.... my Dog was having a difficult time.. I could tell he was in pain.. he wasn't eating and finches if you tried to touch his head or face... I got him in as an emergency and the vet that saw him had been such a lifesaver.. he was diagnosed with a condition called MMM I hadn't even heard of it but I'm so relieved to have him in the care of somebody that was able to figure it out so quickly- we've treated him twice now with a steroid regiment and he's living like he doesn't have it at all... I will forever be great full that they saved his quality of life.. all of my animals have been here and they've all been shown love and care by all of the staff too- thank you so much All Creatures read more

I have loved this place for many many years, but to have to wait over a month to be seen for something urgent is a dis-service to you animals that you say you treat. My family has been taking our dogs there for about 18 years now. The service can be slow because they have so many returning customers, but you can plan to pay about 1/10 of what other vets charge. I just got back from taking my small dog there after he choked on some grass that he had tried to chew on and it got stuck in his throat. It was an emergency visit and it took me four hours to be seen but finally he was examined by a veterinarian, given an x-ray, given some light IV sedation so they could look down into his esophagus and then given two injections, and the entire bill was $60! At any other veterinarian all of that would've been $600. And check out time takes a long time. But so worth it! read more

The last time I called, the answer was automated. I hope that frees up the staff and gives them breathing room. Many new faces. I think pandemic burn-out hit hard here. The office staff is always slammed. I have not experienced or witnessed any rudeness some posters complain about. But they need more help. Great doctors, good prices. I miss Vet Becker :( he sold a few years ago. I don't go here anymore if I can avoid it. It used to be worth the long drive, it was clean and professional. They've kept prices low, BUT -- they overbook so there's never less than 15 owners/pets in a small waiting area. It's dirty, smells. It's become first come first serve so it doesn't WHAT time your appointment is, you're always put on the bottom of the queue when you check in and wait times are never less than an hour. If you value your time, it's not worth it. Plus once you are back they're just pushing you out as quickly as possible to get the next patient in. I miss the way it used to be. read more

This place doesn't care about customer service anymore. I think it's because they have such low prices that they've become to busy to actually care about building long term relationships with their customers the way most other vets do. The women who answer the phone are always super rude like it bugs them to have to make an appointment. Sad to see a place that had such a huge following and potential go down the drain over making quick bucks. Shouldn't be the only reason to get into the veterinarian industry. I think management needs to do a better job at balancing the work load but not sacrificing the quality of service. Just about the only thing I really appreciate about this place is it's fairly priced but even the rates have increased. read more

Having used All Creatures for over 20 years for our pets I have seen a significant change in their service. I called 12/6/22 with a plea for help for our 14 yr old lab who has always been a patient there. I related how sick she had become over the last day and was told they could only relay this info to the Dr and ask her what she wanted to do and asked my phone number to call me back. After two hours and no call; I called back and I am informed the Drs are all at lunch still and my dog's chart is in Dr Adrian's box. She has already gone home for the day (it was 2:00pm) and there will be another Dr coming in at 2:30 and will be the only Dr in the clinic for the rest of the afternoon and will be very busy. I asked when my sick dog's concerns were going to be addressed and was told it wouldn't be until Dr Adrian returned tomorrow sometime. I did call another clinic and was given an appointment the next morning. Today (2 days later) my very sick dog was put to rest. I don't believe anything would have prevented the ultimate outcome, but I am sadly disappointed in the lack of good customer service by very busy and overworked people. When dealing with a sick loved pet the lack of response and follow through is very stressful as everyone knows. This over time has evolved to be their "MO". I will no longer be returning with my pets for their care (or lack of). read more

Do not listen to any of these positive reviews! Whenever I'm there they act like I'm wasting their time. And I'm almost positive they abuse the animals they keep overnight. After I got my dog back from being there overnight he seemed traumatized. THEY CLIPPED MY DOGS CANINES WITHOUT ASKING ME AS IF I'D BE OK WITH THAT!!! And then they lied about doing it. They finally admitted it after I showed them pictures of my dog where you can see his teeth. You can clearly see that 1/3 of the canines were clipped. I think they give me and my dog this treatment because I'm Mexican and my dogs a wolf. He is not aggressive in any way. And if he was then instead of ABUSING my dog they could just tell me to go somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

Absolute worst place, they aren't taking new clients so if you aren't already one don't bother they are so busy they can't even handle the clients they do have. As a warning if you don't have to go in for a while they drop you as a client, don't notify you, and essentially throw away your animals records!!! I've been a client for more then 20 years. They have treated every pet I've had my entire life. I called to get my new puppy fixed and they are booked out for 14 months which whatever it's inconvenient but I know how they work. Not only that since my other pets have been healthy and we haven't been in they can't find any record of me. They also sent my pets files "off site" which really means they've been thrown away. Because I was told there was no way to retrieve them. They don't notify you or even TRY TO SEND YOU YOUR PETS RECORDS! I'm so beyond pissed right now. worst thing is I know they don't care, because they can't handle the clients they have they are happy to have less. So disappointed and heartbroken. I used to defend them when people complained. Well not anymore... I'll be looking for a new vet. read more

In the past I found All Creatures Pet Care to be better than my latest experience there. I was given an appointment which was agreed upon the phone. However, when I arrived I was told they had no appointment on their book & I was forced to re-schedule. 40 mile round trip for nothing. Arrived 3 or 4 later as scheduled & met a woman with her cat & they couldn't find HER appointment. Was given a room & assistant took weight & temperature of my dog who was just there for bordetella so he could be kenneled. Assistant left & I procceded to wait 35 minutes for the doctor. TOO LONG! Was told only 2 doctors on duty. Someone should have come in & explained the delay so I didn't get as agitated. Nails trimmed on my chocolate lab & assistant cut one nail too short causing a substantial bleed. Treated the wound, but continued to bleed until I returned home. As the cost is reasonable there I will continue to bring my pets there but will look a bit more skeptical at their procedures in the future. read more

I have a very large Rott/Pitt mix. He weighs over 100 pounds. While he may look like a beast, he is a gentle, loving, people friendly animal. The staff treated him like he was a small dog ( meaning no fear or assumptions that he may be aggressive). The lobby is tiny and always packed but that's because they are an excellent place to take ANY ANIMAL. They have absolutely the best prices in the valley and they give excellent care. They are certainly worth the drive from Grants Pass to Eagle Point and back. I will never take my furry friend anywhere else. read more

I have been going to All Creatures for almost 2 years now. I have a wonderful 10 yr old Chihuahua who has a chronic skin, but since we found ACAH, it's under control. The staff & Vets are so kind and compassionate, not to forget friendly and welcoming. When I hear someone taking issue with ACAH, I'm naturally concerned for both sides, but I would ask people to consider some of the realities of being a low-cost animal hospital. ACAH has limited resources and does an amazing job with their circumstances. This does NOT mean the facility or care is sub-standard! It's just that time, professional care and supplies only go so far so when the policy is commitment to low-cost services. Wise management will put boundaries on things like amount of clients they can handle. AND ACAH costs ... well, my first visit cost me about 10% of what 4 different animal hospitals quoted me for taking care of my dog! I cried for joy as I left because I knew we'd finally found help that I could afford as a Senior Citizen on a fixed income!!! And my sweet little 4-legged boy is doing so well!!! I also know that when a business owner stands his ground to provide MUCH-needed services at low costs, there are many who will sabotage the effort in some kind of sick jealousy and wrong-thinking competitive attitude! While I believe in ACAH, nothing/no one is perfect. Yes, they can be difficult to reach, but keep the faith and keep speed-dialing ... ;-) Each person must make the best decisions possible for the love of our FurKids -- I'm just very grateful for ACAH!!! read more

I am a new client there I got my kitty spayed there,and all went well at first. when I called the first time to ask how much it would be to stay my cat they said $25 +5 dollars total then I went in for her to get fixed and afterwards they charge me $57 I have no idea why A week went by my cat stitches didn't look right they did not stitcher up correctly at all just came out and she got an infection. So I called to get her back in to get them fixed and they told me that they do not have any openings currently. At this point I am not happy with them so I brought my cat in anyways and demanded they see her so they did but they try to charge me again $57 seriously read more

Dr. said , I do them that way .I even gave him photo's of how I wanted them done .He said OK , one ear was cut Shorter then other! The bell was not as big either !! Very noticeable difference !!!! I'm very back and forth with this vet. The prices are right, the employees are nice, and they handle the stress well. Been taking my cats here for a little over 5 years. However. Years back I noticed my male cat struggling to pee and he was dribbling blood. I took him in, they said he had a urinary tract infection, and sent me on my way with meds. Months later, it happened. Again. Took him in, changed his food, got meds, and he was fine for a while. Male cats are notorious for UTIs, bladder infection, kidney disease, etc. They never checked for any diseases and in May of 2015 he passed away. I do not blame them for his passing but I wish they could have done more. Then back in Oct my female cat got a bladder infection. Took days and days to get an apt. Brought her in. Changed her food. Got meds. She seemed somewhat okay. Two weeks later, she was worse than she was before. They asked for a urine sample so I took it in, got stronger meds, and got expensive prescription food. She's doing wonderful now but if something happens I don't know if I will be going back. Overall the prices are extremely affordable, but they are so busy that I feel as though they don't give enough attention to the animals. Wonderful attitudes from the vets, though. read more

I've been taking my pets here for years.. I wont go anywhere else. The number one thing is, they give your pet top notch treatment. Secondly, their not going to charge you an arm and a leg. All Creatures Animal Hospital has been my two pets Vet for seven years. They have had the most excellent treatment and I have always walked to my car knowing what and how to treat a situation. It's never a rush in, rush you out visit. I love that! I moved to the Portland area and I drive down to Eagle Point to have any major surgeries and teeth cleaning done. I will also have their annual exams if I am in Grants Pass visiting when that time arrives. Where can you go and have your pet taken care of by all of these professional Veterinarians at the cost they charge? For once I am convinced that the health and well being of our beloved pets come before the almighty dollar. Appointments are difficult because they book out quickly for routine appointments but if there's an emergency they are there for you. Just plan ahead and get yourself on their books you won't be sorry! read more

I just wanted to thank Dr.Tom. This place is the best. My son was ill and at O.H.S.U. in I.C.U. for three months. He begged to see his dog. His doctor told us get a letter from your vet and make sure he was up on all his shots and we will find a way to sneak his dog into him. Dr. Tom was contacted and I was heading to Portland that day. He told me to bring my sons dog in right then. I can`t ever express how much compassion was given to our family. Since the government has taken over on how to take care of my dogs I have to take them in just to get heart worm meds for them which I never had to do before unless I missed giving them some. Just called today to get an appointment to bring one of them in and was told they were booked until mid September. Now when I run out of meds for them I will have to bring them in for a blood test instead of just a 1 minute look see so I can get the meds for them. What a rip off and no concern for the animals at all. Too bad too, I've been going there for 17 years but no more. With service like this they will not be around much longer. read more

Words cannot express my gratitude for this clinic. Almost two weeks ago, I brought my dog in because she had a HUGE bump on her right shoulder blade. There was a variety of things it could've been so the vet took her back and did an x-ray. Turns out, it was bone cancer and the only thing we could do is amputate her leg. Being she's about 13-years-old and has arthritis throughout her spine, it would be too difficult for her to recover. So it as all a matter of time and we decided on strong pain meds and steroids for now then I would come back in two weeks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Almost two weeks later... Friday (3/18) she started to go downhill, needing help up a step or reminding her to go outside to go to the bathroom. Sunday (3/20), she wanted in the house and tripped going up the step and her back legs collapsed. My dad and I carried her to her spot on the floor (with her blankets). This was around 10am. She just couldn't get up or do anything for herself - I had to hand feed her, use a silicone funnel to give her water, put a dustpan under her back end when she needed to use the bathroom, and lift her head when I changed the towel from the water that dripped on it. I made the decision to have her put down because it was so agonizing for her to do anything. I didn't have the heart to put her in the car and drive all the way out to Eagle Point so I looked for a vet that made house calls. That's a whole other story (I have reviews on two other vet clinics if you'd like to see the names and horrible experiences with them). I called the on-call vet for All Creatures, I explained what was going on and he said that I could give her more pain meds and could bring her in that day if I needed. I did as he suggested with the meds. I stayed with her all day and all night, hoping she would pass away in her sleep. When that didn't happen, my dad and I made a stretcher and put her in the van then drove out to Eagle Point. My dad went into the office and let them know why we were there. He came out, got in the van and backed up the side of the building where one of the assistants were waiting. After a few questions and a fee of $25.00 (which is pennies compared to what other vets charge) - she said the vet would be out in a few minutes. I was trying my best to keep composed for my sweetheart. When the vet and another assistant came out, they were so kind and explained what they were going to do and to talk to her. Losing her was devastating, but the people here made it less stressful because they treated my dog as she was - a part of my family. People who come here expecting a peaceful quite environment obviously don't understand they are getting quality Doctors not 5 star hotel lobby, scented candles and elevator music. This is extremely busy, constantly running and full of creatures. The phone lines ring off the hooks and animals are always anxious at the Vet's office because THEY CAN'T TALK they bark and howl. After waiting in the waiting room for three hours I finally got called into the room to get my two injured rescue kittens checked out. I was told one had a broken tail (obviously) they said there was nothing they can do and yeah it made sense she's not in any pain. Now for my next baby he had a massive hernia on his stomach and side. They said his surgery was going to be scheduled two months away and assured me he would be fine. Well we found an amazing program for the babies and they took them, and took them to the vet. My baby boy with the hernia was 1 week away from dying because his hernia! He went in for emergency surgery and thank god he lived and is fine now. I'm grateful he didn't die but all creatures lack of patience and crazy rush to just get my appointment over with almost killed my baby kitty. read more
