I obtained a sample board and selected a style that was available, which he promptly ordered and scheduled an install date. What I appreciated was that Jayc kept in contact with me on every step from carpet order, shipped, arrival, and when an earlier installation date came available, which I took. Horrendous experience…read more Imagine planning over 3 months in advance, spending over 25k to install floors, over 2 months of the physical installation, and 6 months to complete the project (due to ordering/inventory issues). The worst part is that the squeaks were not repaired before the install. 5 extremely loud joists in the most used locations of the house. We ended up hiring another contractor to pull up the floor and fix the squeak in one room that cost over 3k. If you like frustration and spending far more money than you need, go ahead and order from them and use their subcontractors. Or you can use a company that seamlessly bids, orders material and does the work from start to finish until you are 100% happy with the product. Up to you. Note, we still use the subcontractor because they do really good work. Dont use FWF for product and project management. If I could a 0 star rating, I would.

But after about 6 months the floors started having issues and falling apart. A year since installed by a licensed contractor I trust, the floors are garbage. We have contacted them multiple times and we're told a rep would come look at them for the brand and nothing. This has been ongoing for months and we are about to have to replace all of them so we won't buy from them this time. My old house had Ikea laminate that was better and lasted longer. Just a shame to spend money on floors that didn't last even a year and to have no help from where we bought them. Expensive lesson learned, we will go elsewhere. Sadly maybe if I post a bad review they will call and email my husband back.
