Not for abusing other children of any sort but because he throws "tantrums and falls out" "runs away from the teachers", basically be a 2-year-old. We had 1 conversation/meeting to discuss plans for my son to help him when he is upset and crying and not falling asleep with other children. I met with her GAVE THE SUGGESTIONS she did not come to me with a plan just called me to complain or ask to pick him up. There has never been a complaint from the teacher just the teacher's assistant and the assistant director both who seem inexperience but isn't at least the assistant director is not. The plan was not documented nor was it executed consistently but somehow; she expected change from a 2-year-old. The decision was made abruptly as she singled out my son and even tried to PLAY DOCTOR saying things like "we don't have the resources" several times during the conversation of her kicking my son out and saying "he gets over stimulated in certain settings" so you're implying that my son needs "special" attention. She also let it slip and said, "how much longer do you want my teachers to PUT up with him". YES! She said that! No sorry just "Okay poor choice of words". Yes I let her have it for sure because you have NO IDEA WHAT YOUR DOING! An experienced person in this field would KNOW BETTER THAN TO SAY THAT TO A PARENT! This is a "Christian" daycare quoting the bible Ephesians 2:10. I guess my son was too UNIQUE according to Doctor Interim Director Casey. She has no business running a daycare as she has admitted that she didn't know how to handle my son falling out and stated that 7 times within a 15-minute time span of our first conversation. Kicking him out would have been fine had they went the route of "hey we will try again but if things don't change, we may need to release your son" But she did NOTHING of the sort just all of a sudden, hey you have until end of June. Then retracts that and says actually next week, no explanation; nothing. He is the only black boy in that class and there are NOT that many at the entire daycare. As I said the TEACHER had NO ISSUE with my son that she felt could not be managed. Casey said she cared but then put the stress and strain on a family 2 days before his birthday fun at the daycare and with a week notice. Hire the right person and remove this interim before she really runs this place in the ground. You do need to enjoy what you do and it be a calling for you in this field and this is not for her clearly. You're in Texas and private but expelling a kid for no real reason with 0 documentations, infractions, plans nothing?? Right. BIG MISTAKE! My son did not have issues before she arrived. Also teach some of your younger and new assistants to be patient and NOT tell parents everyday "they had a bad or good day today". Let these parents make it sometimes with just a pick up! After months of my son attending, he was truly the happiest he's ever been every single day I picked him up. That true spirit of JOY we are all born with was absolutely glowing in him from drop off and throughout the day, all the way to pick up time. I loved seeing the framed pictures on the walls of the prayer team praying over the building as it was built. It's our duty as parents to pray over our kiddos, invite the Holy Spirit into the building with us, and to remember it's not just the responsibility of the teachers and admin to do it all. We are all in this together. My son made amazing friends in his class. Other teachers were always so polite and friendly and loving when we'd see them in the hallways. God blessed us in our season with Sonshine, as it's been a few months since we moved, but my son still asks when we're going to see Ms. Rae and Ms. Miya, his teachers he had while he was at Sonshine. They made a tremendous impact on him with their patience, love, and while teaching him. We are forever grateful for Sonshine Preschool.

She makes sure her room is clean and disinfects throughout the day. He loves their snacks and outside time they have. She is patient and kind! I love that there are cameras so you can check in on him occasionally. You also get frequent updates with photos of the activities they do. I think there should be a Mrs Shina in every classroom, she is simply amazing. I could go on for days how I love this daycare. We toured SO many different daycares before we landed on this one. We are very pleased with our decision to go here.

Most of them are nice and smile but i've walked by the baby room last week and noticed a teacher jerking a baby out of the bouncer so i stopped the babies foot was stuck in the leg holes both teachers were laughing then with the same baby she took it over to the counter and put him upside down head touching the counter again they were both laughing. I've also seen teachers yelling at the kids in the ball pit room, anytime I walk by the toddler room they are all sitting in the table high chairs, either crying or sitting there like zombies. The room across that the kids are always going wild hitting, BITING, yelling. The teachers in that room always look mad or are yelling. Noticed the morning teacher grab a kid by the arm and let him go causing him to fall. In my child's class the teacher is always standing outside the door talking to a young blonde teacher while her back is also turned to the kids. Also notice anytime I come in the teacher already knows I'm coming in, I've heard them call the name out on the speaker in the rooms. I've seen so many kids crying in the morning and makes me question what is going on in the rooms since the cameras do not record. Also every day my child acts like she hasn't eaten all day, please someone explain?! Please think twice about putting your kids in a daycare, look up everything.
