We had access to an open area with tables and a kitchen area in which we had dinner, fellowship and breakfast. We could park right in front of our rooms. The temperature in the rooms is adjustable and there are extra blankets but I suggest to bring your own since those were small ones and there's a somewhat "store" inside the venue at the entrance but I didnt have the chance to see what they sold. Mind you these are children spending their parents money! They even had qr codes in bathroom stalls to send money. The games are not fun at all, on the first day there was a game of dragging tires. It was 95 degrees outside and nobody had aten. One cabins bunk beds were literal baby pins, nets around them and flat green mattresses. Chris Estrada, the one preaching, sounds like he could be a little crazy. Mentioning how one tome he was at the zoo and a guy said "can i show u something" and blisters came up on him and his skin peeled back. Your not allowed to go back into your cabin until 12pm and then they wake you up at 7am every morning! There were some fun moments but i would only say the fun moments were the people you spent your time with, not the challenges and games.

The restrooms were clean, there were snacks and drinks available, and since we weren't sure what to expect, we ate beforehand. The real magic was watching all four of my kids, ages 4 to 12, find something they genuinely loved. That doesn't happen everywhere! From arts and crafts to climbing, sliding, exploring, and creating, there was something for every personality and energy level. No one was bored. Not even for a minute. As a mom, I appreciated the clean environment, family friendly atmosphere, and free Wi-Fi. As a M.O.M.=maker of memories maker, I loved seeing my kids laugh, play, and discover new things together. They said 4 Hearts Ranch was the best place around. I agree. My mare is very happy at 4 Hearts. She has a wonderful stall with shavings, a fan by day, and wonderful turnout in the evening (summer hours). I look forward to the winter hours. All the long term boarders are very happy. There are multiple vets and farriers that attend this facility. The staff are polite and definitely know how to care for horses. There are no flies because of excellent manure control. Most horse owners care for their horses by boarding at a top shelf facility. I count my blessings, that I was able to get into 4 Hearts Ranch. There is usually a waiting list to get in.

Both years have taken him one step closer to independence and maturity using masculine fun laced with grit. It is tough, hot, grueling but also engaging, unique, and cultivating as these boys come back more mature and tougher because of this experience. It is refreshing to have this opportunity available to help prepare to launch my son into the real world through these expeditions. My son was exposed to survival skills, camping, leadership, team work, various tactics, orienteering, land navigation, knot tying, knife handling, shelter building, night navigation, geocaching, fire building, capture the flag, laser tag, first aid, basic self defense, swimming, planning and completing hikes, survival skills, etc. over the course of five days and four nights. Surely my son will think back on his encounter with Squad Stx Boys Camp and be grateful for the chance at such a fantastic venture.
