We had access to an open area with tables and a kitchen area in which we had dinner, fellowship and breakfast. We could park right in front of our rooms. The temperature in the rooms is adjustable and there are extra blankets but I suggest to bring your own since those were small ones and there's a somewhat "store" inside the venue at the entrance but I didnt have the chance to see what they sold. He asked what I needed to which I replied, I would like to use your facility that I called ahead about. A female owner then came and met my daughter and myself. I told her I wanted to rent a cage for an hour for my daughter to hit. The lady then proceeded to tell me they don't have softball, only baseball. I'm extremely upset that they only cater to boys. Do they not think girls play sports? I find this place to not only be unprofessional but also sexist.

Both years have taken him one step closer to independence and maturity using masculine fun laced with grit. It is tough, hot, grueling but also engaging, unique, and cultivating as these boys come back more mature and tougher because of this experience. It is refreshing to have this opportunity available to help prepare to launch my son into the real world through these expeditions. My son was exposed to survival skills, camping, leadership, team work, various tactics, orienteering, land navigation, knot tying, knife handling, shelter building, night navigation, geocaching, fire building, capture the flag, laser tag, first aid, basic self defense, swimming, planning and completing hikes, survival skills, etc. over the course of five days and four nights. Surely my son will think back on his encounter with Squad Stx Boys Camp and be grateful for the chance at such a fantastic venture.

Our children were signed up for a 3 day horse camp (12 hours total) and they spent less than 1 HOUR actually riding a horse. On the last day of camp they did not get to ride a horse at all. They had the kids doing singing and dancing activities, none of which had anything to do with horses. Their 2 day fishing camp consists of maybe 30-40 minutes of fishing maximum and they only do this on 1 day of the camp. They falsely advertise what they offer and come up with excuse after excuse as to why certain activities cannot be carried out. I will no longer recommend this camp to anyone.
