Cons - bring your wallet. $40 for a thirty minute lesson seems extreme. Our last lesson was with the facility manager, and no joke, he was on his phone for the majority of my niece's lesson. We were there on time, but our lesson started five minutes late as he was out in the main area talking with people. During our 25 minute lesson, he took two phone calls and checked his texts 7-8 times. So basically every 3-4 minutes he was on his phone. For $40 you think he could give us full attention for 30 minutes. Twice he said "good job" to my niece when she completed the action she was practicing - when he was looking at his phone and not even watching what she was doing. We had another lesson with a different instructor and he was super good. Focused on my niece the entire time. Actually gave her 45 minutes as when our lesson was up, he said he didn't have any more for the day, so he gave her some extra attention. A-plus for that due. Great facility. Some really great and friendly staff. And some great instructors. But if you are going to charge $40 for a thirty minute lesson, you should give that student a full 30 minute lesson.

He truly takes the time to thread in your personal life and interests, goals, and concerns to present the best options for you while training you all the needed information on the functions of your firearm, safety, and laws, I gained so much information on gun ownership and handling, their history, ammunition, and putting into perspective not only how much respect a firearm demands as well as how they can be a safe and effective part of someone's day-to-day life. I am looking forward to my next session with Brian!

In my opinion, there could have been more ride operators. Even though some of the rides were running, we had to wait for operators to run another ride, then switch to the one my kid wanted to ride. The train was cute. It smelled like gas exhaust the whole way, but it has a nice big track, and they take them around twice. The putt putt could have used a bit of shade on the yellow course, but it was nice that there were 3 courses. Too bad everyone wanted to play the shady course, so we all had to wait for big parties to finish between holes. This park could use some updating but it's great for small children.

There is a gazebo see my pic and a good sized bbq pit. There is also a spring a short walking trail as well as the rest of Cameron park which is close by. I liked that it was peaceful. It is a bit off and out of the way from the rest of the park. So it wasn't that crowded on a Friday summer night as perhaps other parts of the Cameron system might be on that day. There are some insane frisbee golf holes in the park again can see pics. There were some children playing in the water of the spring. There were at least four cement benches that were comfy. I used one while waiting for my wife as I really couldn't get up some of those very steep hills. It was a great pocket park and a nice place for a picnic. There are a few out of the way plCes to go there for a more private picnic. Great little place.

It is located right off highway 84 at Poage road. The trail is made of cinder and about .33 of a mile. There is a slight incline and decline. In comparison to the hewitt park nearby I like that boy have a circle track and you have an idea of how far the circle track is. However recovering from surgery I like the hewitt park a little better as the concrete trail helps my legs remain steady as I recover from surgery. I cannot afford a fall. One thing originally I liked better about poage park was that the circle was half the distance and there were many benches to sit on till I got my endurance up. This park also has a small gazebo. I like this park an am happy w the restroom facilities I just wish things were a bit more spread out but the park is a bit too small for that.
