She listens to me and understands what I am trying to achieve. She only pushes me as much as I allow. When my shoulder hurts she includes more lower body exercises, when my hip hurts she includes more upper body exercises. She listens to me and adjusts the workout to suit how I am doing that day. I cannot recommend Kailey enough. She will help you to achieve your goals and she knows what works and how to gently encourage me. If you want to feel better this time next year then definitely hire Kailey as your coach. You will be a healthier person because of it.

The studio has wooden floors... that's a big plus ladies. No carpet = no muggy locker room odor…read more Ample parking, good music, the interior is bright and cheery. There are clothes, snacks and socks (you need them), water available to purchase and most importantly TOWELS. The ladies that teach are dancers and they know their stuff. They do come over and correct your postures. They do remember your name. They do the class with you... well mostly. Kristi knows her stuff, and gives the most detailed instructions of all the instructors. Huge focus on form! The workout consists of a warm up, stretching, thigh, seat work, abs, cool down, and more stretching. You will shake, you will work, you will tone up, you will be encouraged. You don't have to be a dancer to attend Smart Barre (hello? Have you seen my dance moves?). I am by no means a dancer (In public!) and never felt intimidated or embarrassed. Except the days I'm so tired I can't remember left from right... yes, it's happened. I have been to several studios in the area. If the word BARRE is in the name, I've been there sweating my A$$ off. Smart Barre has THE most pleasant staff. They show you the moves and actually do them with you, not just walk around the room talking. It's ALL barre all the time, not a studio with a few classes a day. This is a legit workout. There are days I think Sara is trying to kill me. Sally will whip you into shape. Allie and Victoria will have your booty burning. I just can't rave enough. Excellent instruction, upbeat atmosphere, TOWELS!! love love love this studio!

I used one of my class passes here a few weeks ago…read more I really like the fact that this studio was small and personable. There were people of all ages and fitness levels attending the class, so no one really looked out of place. The class was also structured very well and it was nice to have all of the equipment needed for the class already at each mat (as opposed to having to go grab everything yourself). Overall, good experience and great class.

I joined Fit for life around October 11' and I still love it! The staff is nice and the trainers…read moreknow what they are doing. The childcare center is always clean and I love the ladies who work in there, they always remember us and my son (10 months old) gets excited when he sees them. The monthly fee is ridiculously cheap for a gym, especially with all the classes, childcare, equipment and good machines. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because they either need better fans or AC in the fitness class area. It gets super hot in warm weather, almost to the point of not being able to work out. If you love Zumba, Jennifer is the most amazing teacher! I go to her class every week and always enjoy it!

I really enjoy this gym. They have since moved from their much MUCH larger location on Bryant Irvin…read morerd , earlier this year. Was a bit disappointed in the down grade in size and equipment. They also no longer have a locker room but for $20 a month, I can't complain. I believe their advertisement for $10 is only during their manned hours, and I believe you have to be working with a trainer. $20 a month is their 24 hr access. And YES , there is an annual fee. During my initial sign up, this was NOT mentioned me. It was not until I asked about any annual fees, that is was brought to light. The woman attendant was a little taken back that I even knew to ask that question .I thought that was pretty funny. Overall, I would have much rather been paying $20 a month for the original larger facility, and amenities, HOWEVER I do still enjoy this gym and recommend it to any one in the area looking to stay active and fit! NOTE TO BUSINESS OWNER : The ladies working the front desk, especially the one with short hair, need to learn how to say " Have a great day " or something of that nature to customers that are leaving , instead of giving them dirty looks the entire time.

The coaches are friendly and helpful, the equipment is newer and in good shape, and the location is well placed with a Whole Foods, several restaurants, and more close by. It was almost ten months before I had the nerve to sign up for a 10-session membership. Although I had been working with a trainer for a few years, this was a faster-paced group workout, and I was afraid I might be viewed as too old to join in. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. The trainers asked my name, explained the setup, and cheered me on through my first workout. I like strength training, so I chose to attend T/Th. The workouts rotate daily. The trainers demonstrate the day's training routine, lead you through a warm-up and assign you a partner and a place to start. You are not competing against your partner. You're challenging yourself during the 45-minute workout. Sometimes I forget that I have a partner; I am so concentrated. According to my Fitbit, I average 36 zone minutes, with 20+ minutes in the Fat Burning zone and +-10 in the Cardio & Peak zone. I have made some workout buddies at F45, and I love that the trainers all know my name and give me a fistbump when we finish.
