I had high hopes for Green Space, I'm a public teacher and have a degree in early education. I was…read morethrilled to find a place I thought aligned to my beliefs for child development, but it ultimately fell short. The director, Amanda, is unresponsive and dismissive, which sets the tone for the entire operation. Communication is inconsistent, and the operation is disorganized. The handbook lacks clarity. Policies contradict each other, and important information is often passed by "word of mouth." I liked most of the teachers; they genuinely cared and kept my son safe. However, the constant turnover made it difficult to establish a stable environment. My son had three different lead teachers in just five months. Safety concerns and inconsistencies. It was revealed to me, quietly of course, that there had been no fire drills during my son's time there. The hours changed from 7:30-6 to 9-4 unless paying extra. I also think there were time that the ratio wasn't correct. While I appreciate the efforts of some staff members, the leadership and organization issues make Green Space a place to avoid. I wasted time, money, and peace of mind. If you value stability and clear communication, look elsewhere. The Texas licensing page says that they provide snacks and the handbook says that they provide snacks. Apparently that's only the toddler class and older. And my final complaint, I sent an email to the owner at the end of October, three months after my child had started there, expressing all of my concerns and feedback. She never responded. Now that I have experienced a different daycare, one right across the street, I see how much Green Space was lacking.

Unfortunately, my experience with The Children's Courtyard on East Harmon has been very…read moredisappointing, particularly when it comes to communication with the Director of Admissions. From the moment you walk into the school, the environment does not feel particularly warm or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, has been the way my questions and concerns regarding the Odyssey program (TEFA funding) have been handled. I have been actively communicating with Odyssey regarding the funding process and was informed that the school could take up to 30 days to receive the funds. Odyssey also provided me with information that I was instructed to give to the school. I have been doing my best to act as the middle person between Odyssey and the school to make sure everyone has the information needed and that the funding process moves forward. Unfortunately, when I have tried to communicate with the Director of Admissions about the situation or asked if she could reach out to Odyssey directly regarding questions or clarification, I have not felt supported. Instead, I have been left feeling as though the responsibility of figuring everything out has been placed entirely on me. What has been most disappointing is the tone and manner in which I have been treated when trying to address these concerns. I understand that funding processes can be complicated and that the school may have its own policies and procedures, but I don't think that excuses being rude, dismissive, or unkind toward a parent who is genuinely trying to make sure everything is handled correctly. I would hope that a school serving children and families would prioritize patience, understanding, professionalism, and clear communication, especially when parents are making an effort to navigate a complicated funding process. I am not upset that there is a process to follow--I am highly disappointed in how I have been treated while trying to follow that process. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more welcoming and respectful experience for families.

This daycare is the worsest daycare I have ever seen. I had 4 kids in that daycare. One of them had…read morebruises in his face and his boday couple weeks ago. I asked 3 different teachers what happened to him and was told different stories and had to end up by calling the police. When the police showed up they refused to show him the cameras pretending that only their head office has access to it and they have to send a request and this process will take few days. Also in our last day we figured out that teachers were giving our kids brand new pull ups to other kids. We had provided 24 brand new underwear for potty training but teachers have used most of them for other kids. Our toddlers never got any potty training even once. They were about to get started but never started. I felt it was my duty to warn any parents against taking their children to this daycare.

We just moved to Haslet and we were looking for a preschool for my then 18month old. Yes! They have…read moreclasses for babies as young as 18m! Mama's, go get your nap and self care time lol.. We absolutely love this school. Their low teacher student ratio pretty much guarantees close attention with each child. They have fun events throughout the school year like a fire truck/firemen visiting, teddy bear picnic, PJ and pancakes, fall celebration, Western Day, etc. New Creations also offer off school hours "movie events" where they host a movie, crafts and snacks to give parents a date night or holiday shopping, etc. That's amazing. They have motion and music class in the day orchestrated by Ms. Mary who has such a God given joy for children. My little girl comes home with various fun crafts and I enjoy being sent pictures to my phone of my girl working on crafts, going on wagon rides around the school property, playing outside, etc. The director Elizabeth is so genuine, cheery and professional. She gave my husband and I a tour of the classrooms before we decided to enroll our girl which brought a lot of comfort and assurance to me. The classrooms are clean, well kept, decorated nicely and age appropriate. And most importantly, the teachers. Amazing. We greatly appreciate Ms. Ashley. She teaches 18m-2yrs. My little girl, who is very clingy to me, runs to her and doesn't look back. She loves going to school and being in her class. Along with colors, shapes and Bible stories, Ms Ashley teaches practical skills like sharing, taking turns, following directions, etc. The class is structured at their age level, going from one a activity to the next. I couldn't be more thankful for this school. I understand my review is long but I know how it is to try to find the perfect school for your child and I hope this helps another parent. 5 stars. 10/10. Highly recommend.
