The experience my wife and I got however has left an extremely sour taste in our mouth and will result in us never using this moving company again. When we received our original quote we were told we would only need two movers for our 1 bed/1 bath apartment. Two days before our move we were contacted and told they would need to add a third mover (increasing our hourly cost by $30). This was explained necessary and told it would in fact save us money because our move would be faster. This was far from the truth. Instead, we had 3 guys making solo trips to and from their truck carrying one item at a time. It took movers an extra 20 minutes to get to our new apartment, and lastly finding them sitting in their moving truck to burn time to hit a full 8hrs. I say 8 hrs but of course they showed up after 8 am and left before 4pm. With a third guy this is a job that shouldn't have taken more than 5-6 hours. The cherry on top of all this is the ridiculous prices they present and charge for products. I was presented a receipt for $272 in packing products which I thought was high, only to be told it was actually $422! When I called to get some clarity on this i was sent a copy of a receipt but this time with more product so as to match the $422 I was charged, and they also somehow had my signature attached. The representative on the phone was not eager to remedy this situation and instead blamed it on their "computer system." EDITED: After posting my original review All My Sons moving did reach out to offer a small refund and apologize for the experience which is appreciated. I hate that a bad review is what it took for a little more accountability but nonetheless. Despite the moving being inefficient and at times lacking transparency the movers themselves took good care of our things. No breaks or things lost during our move.

Took to long to get to my house they got there late I felt rushed so I won't be using them ever…read moreagain

While moving from Centennial to Co Springs we had rented a U-Haul and thought, psh.. we got this!…read more(just the 2 of us...). Then we came to our senses and realized it was going to take us forever and we are definitely not spring chickens! So we started calling around for quotes on moving our 2 bedroom condo to a home in the springs. We spoke to Sherry who provided all the hourly costs for 2 guys and for 3 guys on a Saturday with a $30 charge for gas since it was an out of town move. Not too bad. We weren't sure exactly how long it might take but we anticipated the move would be about $1500. On moving day the truck (giant truck) pulled up and 3 happy guys greeted me. Mike, Justin, and Pena. They took a look around and got right to work. They had us out of the old house in about 2 hours and handled everything with extreme care! As they were finishing securing everything in the truck we left ahead of them to head to the new house. Thinking they would take much longer than us we started unloading our cars and they pulled up behind us immediately! Moving in was much simpler since we just wanted all the boxes in the garage and all of the furniture in the living room. They cleaned up their truck, settled the final bill, and went on their way. Ended up being about $1400 and worth every penny to be all moved in with out the aches and pains and days it would have taken us!

They got off to a rough start but they completed the move with no lost items and no damage.read more

Those are givens, and most every storage center is hopefully going to be clean and secure. I've been renting several units at LoDo Self Storage for several years now. They get their extra stars from me for SERVICE. I imagine that working in a storage and moving center could turn someone into a sarcastic and snappy jerk, BUT NO! The staff here are consistently cheerful, helpful, eager and responsive. If they don't really care with sincerity, then they are amazing actors. It sure seems sincere. Really nice crew! (Cherie C's example of getting called about her CDs is very typical of how this group rolls.) They are also surprisingly flexible, trying to work with customers who have special storage or moving needs. (almost said "customers with special needs" but that has a completely different meaning!) As an example, they will discount the cost to rent the Penske trucks for people who rent storage units. They will extend their hours under special circumstances. Joanna C knocked off a point because she can't get to her stuff in the middle of the night. BRAVO LoDo self-storage!! If YOU can get into the place at night when they are closed, then SO CAN THE THIEVES! That's the main problem with 24hour access storage facilities! If you open up your unit, and it's empty or rummaged-through, it likely happened AT NIGHT when there was no one working. So, I wish I could give an EXTRA star for that, Joanna.

They will not honor their quoted prices…read more I was given a quote for my unit of $99/month. Less than 2 months after I began renting I was informed that the price would be raised to $138/month, an increase of 40%. I asked them what could've possibly changed in 6.5 weeks to justify an increase of 40% and they couldn't said that every now a d then they perform a "unit audit" and determined that this is just the price now. Makes me think that $99/month was just a teaser rate to win my business before they jack the price to what they actually want to charge, because how on earth could a $99 rate be fair 2 months ago, but suddenly be so out-of-line that they need a 40% increase. I asked for it to be lowered cause it was in bad taste to refuse to honor their quote in such a short time period. They refused. I left a review here to inform others and suddenly they realized that maybe they shouldn't jack their prices by that much so quickly and returned my rate to $99/month. They asked me to "help them out with some reviews left online." Since they returned my rate I agreed and deleted the review. It's now 5 weeks later and they have once again jacked my rate, this time by a smaller amount, only to $109 (10% increase). A 10% increase is still pretty unreasonable seeing as it's only been just over 3 months since I first became a customer. Given the context they gave me with the "unit audit" to justify their rate increase, the fact that this increase is significantly lower tells me that this time around it wasn't some BS methodology, but a conscious decision to push the price the price closer to what they really want but in a manner someone will grudgingly allow. In other words, their methodology for determining the rate increase isn't actually from a unit audit, but rather is just "whatever this customer will let slide." Poor business practices. Honor your quoted prices. If you want to charge more, quote more. And if you need to increase the rate, think about how reasonable the increase is given the amount of time that has passed.

Several boxes were smashed beyond recognition. Even the boxes marked fragile were damaged, and I lost several family heirloom dishes, which broke my heart. Worst experience of my life. Took 6 weeks, charged double, sent ONE mover (my husband ended up…read morehaving to help the poor guy!), made us pay in cash last second, broken and lost items. We called every day BEGGING for them to deliver our stuff. We spent hundreds on a mattress, cooking utensils, etc to survive off while we waited well over a month for our belongings. We were told 4-10 days!!!!! SO unbelievable. Management didn't do a single thing to resolve the issue during or after. In terms of cost Our final moving amount was nearly DOUBLE what we were quoted. We were quoted $2,300 and it ended up being $4,000. For our final payment, we were forced to pay in cash although our first two payments were made by credit card no problem. My husband and I don't carry cash on hand, and our delivery came on a Saturday in which banks are closed. My husband drove to an ATM to take out cash which was capped so then I had to take a second trip to my own ATM to take the remaining amount out. I am sure we were asked to pay in cash so that it's not recorded if we tried to go after the company in court. After all of the above, we had ONE delivery man show up. I thought it was a joke, that there was a second car behind with other movers inside. No. They sent one poor mover to deliver our belongings. We had king bedroom sets, camping and sports equipment that are rather large, and 20 large moving bags. To think one person could handle transporting these across an apartment complex is beyond me. We were told that 3-4 movers would be here and it would be a smooth, quick process. Instead it took high anxiety, two trips to an ATM, seven hours, and my husband having to help the mover. I'll repeat that. My husband had to help the mover!!! Note: We still tipped the mover because we felt bad that he works for such a HORRENDOUS company. Finally, our $1,000 bed frame is damaged, and 3 bags of clothing are missing. There are other small items damaged that I don't care as much about. The photo with the clothes hangers are the missing clothes we did not receive. We shipped the exact amount of hangers for the clothes we own. I hope this business goes UNDER. Absolutely pathetic
