I was charged sales tax on a massage...I have never paid sales tax on a massage and the State of Washington does not require a service type business to pay sales tax. When I asked her why it was more than what is says on their sign, she said it was sales tax. Then she said the tip wasn't large enough, WTHey? So she took the additional $7 and added it to her tip (now a $12 tip), honest...she said this to me. 3 days later I received a text stating they wanted to give me a refund of $20... I thought it was due to this review, but I hadn't posted it yet, I thought I did. I did not go in to receive the refund. I do not like green eggs and ham. I would NOT recommend this place. The rooms are quite small and have a cloth curtain as a door. All in all it was a very funky experience and I will not be going back. If you choose to go there, bring an extra $15 for a tip.

In long 7 months ago, my lovely bride had a massive stroke, and we're still working to get her mobility back to where it needs to be. After so many lifeless months, anything to get her muscles moving (even if someone else does it) helps. We've been having trouble finding massage places that accept her insurance, at least for their massage therapists (it's often the chiropractor who takes it). We decided that since the prices AND the rating here were so good, we would pay out of pocket for one and see how it goes. It's not a new building, and even the parking lot itself feels kinda worse for wear. Inside, this place is quiet and dim. Very relaxing, as advertised. Some twinkling rope lights around the acoustic sub-ceiling. There's a squishy old couch in the waiting room, and some worn wall-to-wall underfoot. The private rooms are small, and there's slow soft piano music everywhere. Lights are low everywhere. We got her set up on a table under a sheet and Leia (I hope I spelled her name correctly) went to work. She had no special training in dealing with folks with neurological problems, but knew a million ways to move joints and get flexibility and movement back. We added the hot stone massage for her feet, so she spent 120 minutes on the table. By the end she was pure jelly, just happily smiling at the ceiling. With the extra half-hour, tax, and tip, it was about $180, which is twice what I expected to spend, but it was so worth it. Driving home, she had movement in her shoulder and hand that has not been there in 7 months. Pretty amazing. She's been getting tension headaches off and on for over a week now, too, and her neck and shoulders released all of that pressure. Her hair looked quite amusing, too. :-) In fact, the place is so good she wants to keep it to herself, and thought about asking me not to review it, because it has to be 5 stars, and she doesn't want it to get overbooked. I pointed out that she might not be the only one who needed massage for more than simple relaxation, though, and she immediately said we had to get the word out.

Sleeping in various hotels has left my back and especially my neck very sore... after trying to tough it out for a few days, I decided I needed something to regain better mobility in my neck. I saw this place, checked the prices and reviews, and it looked promising, so I booked a 1 hour massage. Lucy was the therapist... she worked her magic and it was seriously one of the best massages I've ever gotten. Loosened everything up without causing any pain (I tend to be a bit sensitive especially in places where too much elbow pressure is applied against bone, but I had none of that... session was perfect.) I walked out of there feeling so much better, and now a day after literally all neck/back pain is gone. Great experience, I only wish this was in my home town.... thanks Lucy!

Our massage therapists, Sasa and Lynn, were wonderful. They were kind, attentive, and checked in throughout the session to make sure the pressure was comfortable and that we were doing okay. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing--the space was clean, smelled wonderful, the soothing music created a peaceful ambiance, and the small fan in the room kept the temperature just right.
