Got two email confirmations. Arrived and the receptionist didn't see the appointment. Couldn't tell me what happen. Didn't offer any sort of option to fix it and said sorry I don't know. Unfortunately this will be the last chance. Call to double check they have your appointment. Pro: I came in with high tension in my neck shoulders and back for a couple of weeks so I was looking for a really focused massage for those targeted areas. James did an excellent job really getting in the nooks and crannies of all of the hard tension points with deep breath exercises to release the tension as well. James was knowledge and he was very professional ensuring my comfort during the entire massage. Con: I went in on a weekend and during checkout was informed there's a $5 weekend fee. There should not be an extra fee for weekends in my opinion. Nothing that would stop me from going, I thought that was interesting given I've had my share of massages from many business in my lifetime and not one heard of that. Also the walls are thin and you can hear people talking loud and laughing when you're trying to relax. Very unpleasant. The lobby could be more inviting, low music playing and maybe essential oils or candles would be beneficial. Lenora worked out muscular issues I didn't even know I had because they didn't bother me as much as other areas. On top of working out issues I knew I had because they were bothering me. About 2 weeks ago I went for a prenatal massage and I had never been here before. I went for semi soreness in my back (I've had worse and had it fixed with a massage) and for blood regulation and other benefits for pregnant women. First off, I've never had a massage therapist talk the entire massage to me and try to get conversation the whole time. Second, the evening after I asked my husband if I should feel as much soreness as I did and he said depends. The next morning I woke up and ever since, I've never felt more pain in my back in my life. 7 months pregnant and I literally cant sit, sleep, etc. Without being in crazy pain. I was better off not coming in. I've had to take days off from work because I'll sleep 2 hours a night from tossing, turning, groaning in pain and I cant do my job in that much pain. read more

The staff is all super friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are great, heated and with super nice sheets. I opted for the aromatherapy for an extra $5 and was so pleased, it was true aromatherapy not just scented oil like at other places I've been to. Took my 8 month old daughter who has torticollis (tight muscles in neck and side) for massages with Jessica and Brittney(I'm bad with names but I think Brittney is her name). My daughter was going twice a week for about a month and a half to two months. First off, since we are in a pandemic, I was pleased with the whole experience and procedure. When you arrive you wait (less than 30 secs) outside and are greeted by the front staff. Very friendly people work there. They take your temperature, and they are wearing their masks and we are wearing ours. We are checked in and shortly after we were greeted by Jessica or Brittney (depended on the day we went in). Rooms were very clean, both therapists were extremely nice and patient as my 8 month old was adjusting to this new service. They have helped my daughter so much and since we started the massage, she was able to sit on her own at 9 months old. I recommend both therapists. I know brittney has a background in craniosacrial therapy, which is an awesome technique and I hear it works wonders if you suffer from migraines! Anyways, I've met the owner a few times since the pandemic and he could not be any nicer. Prices are very great, experience was fantastic, and the therapists there are wonderful. Everyone I've had a massage with, consistently strives to make sure they're doing their best. The office and rooms are very clean, and all the staff is professional, and courteous. Having fibromyalgia, they're always making sure I'm comfortable and we communicate effectively. There's always going to be specific massage therapists that work best for your particular needs, or who have more natural talent or experience. Thats true in any area of life. (It also makes a difference if you're naturally a complainer, or if you always try to see the best in people and events.) I love this place. I currently am enrolled in the monthly charge for my massages and they roll over if I am unable to make it that month. I am also able to gift my massages if I want as well. I currently see Emily Farmer, She is down right amazing!! Not only do I get a great massage from her she also pays attention to problem areas, I love that she offers me the point and stretch massage (I think that's the name of it) it is so beneficial to me since I work sitting and on a computer all day. I've been here a couple times to get a massage. The first time was really good, second time not quite as good (different masseuses, I don't remember the names unfortunately. The first was male). The strip-mall style location makes it seem like it wouldn't be that great, but Asgard itself is beautiful and relaxing, with great decor, music, seating options in the waiting room, and lovely massage rooms. The massage beds are heated and you can get aromatherapy which I highly recommend. They can get booked up so schedule well in advance. read more

I've tried several places for massages and this is the best. I recently moved a couple hours away and am greatly disappointed that I had to leave this place! Their program is the best for affordability and once you find the right massage therapist for you it's great. I also liked their online scheduling options and that the massage therapists respected my quietness during massages. I don't like to talk during massages because i'm trying to relax and i've had many other massage therapists that don't respect that. However, asgard massage was always respectful and awesome. I have been going to this place for the last month now and feel better than I ever have. Steffen is the massage therapist I choose to see there because he is wonderful. He does deep tissue and injury therapy better then anyone I have been too. I have had multiple in jury's and what I thought was permanent back damage. After my second massage with Steffen an area in my mid back starting regaining movement that I have not felt for close to 6 years. The prices are awesome which makes it easy to go more frequently to truly reap the benefits of massage therapy. I started out with my first appointment as a 90min session and week later did a 1hr session. The following week I did a 2hr session and feel so much relief I could cry of happiness. I previously got massages from multiple therapist and would alternate my visits with them to even get some satisfaction that my muscles might be looser but still ultimately felt disappointed and ripped off for their services. I am disappointed after 45 minutes of massage at Asgard Massage. I bought from Groupon because I read good reviews. My groupon is 60 minutes with aromatherapy. I requested for female therapist but when I arrived, I didn't know that I got male therapist until I was put in the room. I voiced my request and he said she called in sick. It took 10 minutes to find me a female therapist, she didn't say a word to me the whole session, only answered my questions. I asked about aromatherapy that I supposed to have and she said she is pregnant and unable to provide me that, and she also had next appointment right after mine so she had to leave 5 minutes before the hour end. I walked out and gave her a BIG tips to show her not all Groupon clients are cheap, then she asked if I wanted a cup of water when I was out of the door. I use groupon a lot and stick with few massage therapists I like. I would never return to this place even free service. Come on people be honest about your reviews! read more
