After reading the messages from the customers who are complaining about this salon I will comment…read moreregarding my feelings of their issues. This is a good salon and the employees are well thought of by regular customers. They all treat people with courtesy and give quality service. It is customary for tips to be given just about everywhere. Even if a person is given a gift certificate they must be aware that a tip is required. This is America and it is a given. I have known Daisy for many years and she is a kind, beautiful individual. She is a very hard worker and is professional in her job. In my opinion, I do NOT think she was wrong in asking for a tip at all. Most people who have the opportunity to even have a 90 minute massage would leave a tip, especially if you got a gift card for free. At the end of the day, Daisy is an exceptional person and the customer was lucky to have her! Thank you, Carolyn Weber I rate this business a 5 star

Haven't posted a review in a while and felt compelled to warn others…read more Any time my boyfriend and I are in Everett, we go to Lomi Lomi and will usually invite family or friends to join us from time to time and although there are flaws, we usually ignore it due to the kind and attentive masseuses. Unfortunately, today will be the last day that my boyfriend and I will be there. I'm unsure if who I had was new but the receptionist seemed to be my masseuse. She left the room 8 times during my 60 min. massage and when she got back to the room the second time, she had pressure on my calves and held it there and while doing that, I felt her other hand texting!!! Not only that, she asked me if I wanted medium or hard at the beginning of the massage and I asked medium. When I tell you that was no where close to what I wanted and was waiting to speak up to request her to go softer, she ups and leaves the room again to check people in or whatever she was doing. The massage felt rushed, rough and borderline disrespectful. I felt like a dirty laundry pile every time she moved my body to a certain area or threw the sheet back on to cover a part of my body. She didn't even ask if the hot stone was ok and she actually rubbed it on my back for less than 20 seconds rushing it through. THEN, when I laid on my back- she was so rough that the sheet kept on moving further and further down that my left nipple was almost exposed and she didn't even fix it!! All she said was, "all done. Thank you" and I fixed myself before she opened the door. She was like a person who is too good or have done this for too long that she got complacent and didn't care what was happening to the client. The best part? She kept asking for cash for discount which is fine and I told her I'm waiting for my boyfriend since he'll be paying. I didn't know my boyfriend went to the car to get cash but he told me he told her and she didn't explain anything and kept telling me to sit down to wait and the way she gestured it was like there was no trust. I told my boyfriend to tip $10 each (we usually tip $20 each) and when he handed her the $20 cash for 2 masseuse, she said "that's it? For 2 people?" Yes lol. What do you expect? Oh, and my boyfriend didn't even get hot stone. @Lomi Lomi- Every time we went here, we didn't mind the noises from people coming in or by neighboring stores. I'm unsure who this person is, but this needs to be fixed. The treatment, lack of etiquette, atmosphere and everything else was by far the worst experience we've ever had. What should be a peaceful and relaxing massage, was actually the most stressful and painful massage I've ever endured. Please train your staff better.

Initially I visited seeking focused massage therapy for a recovering arm injury. After their skilled work, l've experienced the best relief in months! Instead, compare it to the Swedish-style massage therapy centers in the area. A visit to peony massage is now part of my weekly routine! As is the case with most massage places, tipping is expected.

I was referred to this practice by my physical therapist who stated the massage therapists here…read morewere great and would round out my care team. My first few months were exactly as he described - Janelle was amazing, her focused massage work, the education-sharing and care Janelle provided, helped immensely for me as a new patient and my rotator cuff/frozen shoulder situation. I was grateful for the recommendation. Insurance covered and I was progressively feeling relief and results. Sadly Janelle was leaving this practice. As her thoughtful parting gesture Janelle recommended a couple therapists to continue where she left off, which I looked forward to as she spoke so highly of their level of care and service. Then COVID hit. Fast forward two months and now I'm eager to start the therapy up again, I called today asking when they would be open for service. To my SHOCK the therapists (Kendall) have returned to work already, in fact 4 weeks ago. I was told Kendall was only calling back her "priority" list clients.... I wasn't sure what that meant, but of course I didn't get called or contacted.. when I asked for clarification the gal at the desk basically dismissed me and said "ok, goodbye" In the competitive service industry when we have choices on our therapy care - when it comes to how you're made to feel and overall experience..... we need more therapists like Janelle.

I was so thankful that I was able to call at 7pm asking if they can get me in at 8pm and without hesitation I got a "yes". Will be happy to return and hopefully communicate better next time!
