Her advice within the one hour has helped me shape my day to become more efficient with my time (a MAJOR plus, since I run a home-based business), helped me realize one of the big things holding me back in said business, and I'm already seeing success at steadying my sleep schedule. Jacqueline's shop is super cute (I can't wait to stock up on more of her teas!!), and she creates a wonderfully warm and welcome atmosphere. I have worked with her before, and her professionalism and the care she puts in her work is incredible. ^.^ I look forward to studying Ayurveda with her in the future!

Really negative experience with irrational and rude front desk clerk today at 3:30pm…read more I will no longer go here. Upon checking in, I was told by a viscerally nasty older woman (severe gray haircut) that my membership expired Dec 31st. It's February 9th. Ok, I'll make a call and handle this. But then this vicious entity refuses to give me my Silver & Fit ID Number because it was no longer valid. She berated me for having picked up a slip of paper off the counter to jot the number down. The number she refused to give me " If you had wanted a piece of scratch paper, I would have given you one. If you had asked! That's an enrollment card'!!" I left a message for a membership director to give me a call. This evening at 8:30, Tanya calls, and attempts to apologize for the front desk clerk. Tanya 'doesn't know' who was working the front desk today. Tanya does provide the expired ID number, which I can use as reference with my health insurance. Puhleeze! No. No thanks. I never will step foot in that legitimately hostile environment again. BTW, I am a person of color.

I had several injuries that she said were no problem to work around. I was very scared for our first class, especially since it was in public at a park! But Carly has such a calm demeanor she put me at ease. She is one of those rare teachers that meets you where you are; she knows when to give pointers and when to just let you do your best at attempting new poses. She is always very responsive with any questions or concerns. Even though she is SO knowledgeable about the body and yoga she finds a way to explain things in a way that makes sense. She also gives you explanations that put into context what you are doing and why. She challenges me every time, but is understanding and flexible with my limitations. I cannot recommend Carly and Catalyst Yoga enough! If you are interested in trying yoga, no matter your past experience, Carly has a ton to offer as a teacher and role model.

When I heard about standup paddle board yoga class in Lake Stevens, I had to check it out. Yoga on land is fine. But standing up, on a paddle board, in Lake Stevens, doing yoga stretches, is a lot harder but well worth it! I fell in the lake but Carla was very patient with helping me get back on the board. I'm glad I did! It was awesome! It was a perfect summer day for this class and very relaxing on the lake. If you want to challenge your yoga practice, this class will provide that. But even if you don't practice yoga, maybe you just enjoy standup paddle board or kayak, this class will add an fun and interesting layer to your aquatic adventures.

Rene is a very talented and personable. She gives a very good massage incorporating a tendon…read moremassage she has developed. It is different than other techniques I have had done to me but I think it will be very beneficial after a followup treatment. She has great hands and an intuitive touch which, unfortunately, is not always found in many "clinical" massages I have had. Her place is meticulously clean and welcoming. She really cares about what you need and want from your session, whether it is Swedish, effleurage, or other types. I had the two hour "Royal" treatment and it was one of the best massages I have had in a very long time. She is professional and thorough. I recommend her highly.
