It was late and we were looking for a place that would be open late. My husband remembered that he tried a new place called My Spa and that it was a great massage. I walked in and noticed a clean well appointed space, not necessarily screaming luxury but very nice. I chose deep tissue and then my service began. Incredible is the only way to describe it. Deep tissue massages are not for the faint of heart . They are not for those looking to go to sleep during the massage. She was firm and targeted spending most time on the areas that needed it most. She started on my legs and feet and then worked her way up. I was most impressed with the owner's knowledge and experience. She is an expert in Chinese massage and understands and is trained on the benefits of Chinese medicine. As a result she understands the connection of massage and other areas of your body. This is different than other local massage places. This is a high quality massage that addresses your whole body. Suffice it to say, that I left feeling so much better than when I entered. I've already made an appointment to go back.

First things first: The Ladies Room is a silent spa--no talking or whispering. If you're planning a…read morespa day to relax and catch up with a friend, this is something you should know before booking. Even whispering will get you shushed. I visited with a friend, and there were both pluses and minuses. On the positive side, the staff was friendly upon arrival, the facility was clean, and the amenities were nice. There are three hot rooms--a steam room, dry sauna, and salt sauna--and three pools: cold, tepid, and hot. There's also a sitting area near the entrance. I recommend arriving early because the check-in paperwork process is pretty cumbersome. My biggest disappointment, aside from not realizing it was a silent spa, was the no-reentry policy. Even with a day pass, you can't leave for lunch and come back. The only food I saw available was energy bars for sale at the front desk. That makes it difficult to comfortably spend the whole day there, especially if you want to enjoy the pools, take a lunch break, and return for another treatment. For me, that policy really limits the value of a day pass. I understand that silence may be exactly what some people want from a spa, and it isn't their fault that we didn't realize this beforehand. But had I known, I wouldn't have chosen it for a day with my friend. Overall, it's a nice facility, but the silence and no-reentry policies weren't a good fit for me, and I'm not sure I would return. Both are worth knowing before you plan your visit.

As I stepped out onto the deck I was shocked at how I immediately fell into comfort zone. Unless you get a bugger honking like a mad man or something (unlikely but possible I imagine) you'll never know it's the middle of the city on the other side of the fence. They have a hot tub, sauna, cold showers, quiet space, and body work options. I opted for a massage to loosen up some stress from the week. SO good I fell asleep which I don't think ever happened to me during a massage before. Entry is super affordable and the sign in/up process is easy. Some things to note that may bee important to you: it is all gender, lgbtq friendly, 18+, clothing optional, alcohol free, outside food and drink welcome but no glass, 25 person limit, and a 3 hour maximum. I loved it. Check it out if this sounds like your cup of tea.... Oh yes they have tea too

SAFETY WARNING: Verbal consent & medical disclosures ignored for disabled client during massage…read more Session Details: October 3rd at 3:00 PM | Room 2 | Thin, blonde female therapist Before our session began, I explicitly disclosed to the therapist that I have fibromyalgia and had recently thrown my back out. During the session, the massage became dangerously aggressive, including hard, punching movements up and down my shins. She called this "a little bit of Eastern medicine," something I never signed up for nor consented too. She did accupressure on the bottom of my left foot, which I also did not sign up for nor consent too and when I got to the car I was limping on that foot from pain to get in. I explicitly told her she was hurting me four separate times, even hissing in pain the last time. Instead of stopping or reducing pressure, she ignored my boundaries entirely, telling me, "I thought you needed it" and "You're so sensitive." She directly ignored client needs for her own preference and blamed me for the harm she was causing. Continuing painful pressure after a client repeatedly asks you to stop is a severe violation of physical consent. As an ambulatory wheelchair user and neurodivergent individual in a vulnerable position, I went into shock, freeze, and fawning just to survive the session. I cried on the table in agony, tense and being hurt repeatedly, hoping it would end soon. I was unable to report it safely to front-desk staff before leaving because I was in shock and survival mode. After looking at reviews it probably wouldn't have mattered as front desk staff seems to be a huge red flag as well. I was just trying to be easy and non-problematic as possible so we could leave. Being in a wheelchair while in shock, I couldn't remove myself independently. This is an extremely terrifying situation to be in. My family had to wheel me out, unaware of what happened until I broke down in tears and had a panic attack on the way home. I am in severe physical pain and having panic attacks (going on day two) as a result. This was in no way healing; it was traumatic. If you have chronic pain, a disability, or simply expect a therapist who respects client consent and basic physical boundaries, please be extremely cautious.

My husband was in the steam room sitting with his eyes closed relaxing, and when he opened his eyes, the room was full of men masturbating and giving each other hand jobs. He left the steam room and didn't feel comfortable to return. He felt violated and disturbed by this behavior. We have been to multiple Korean spas all over the country, and have never experienced anything like this. It would be simple to stop this behavior, all they would have to do is have an employee whose job it is to make rounds and enforce the rules which are clearly posted - no sexual acts. Unfortunately there are hardly any employees around, and that is why these perverts can get away with these public sexual acts. Believe it or not, children are allowed at this spa. I am considering reporting this to the police for that reason. Now that I am here writing this review, I am seeing that there are multiple other reviews reporting the same thing. The fact that this continues to go on shows that management does not care. I will be posting this review anywhere that I can, and telling my friends and family to avoid this place.
