Felt like a standard pizza and less exciting. Not bad if you're looking for a quick slice for lunch or dinner. read more

We ordered a large whole Zesty Aloha Pizza with Mango and it satisfied our cravings! However, we requested one half without meat, but they forgot to remove the ham on the vegetarian side so that was a bit of a hassle to pick out, but other than that it was really yummy, and I appreciated how they had it ready on time. read more

We rested our heads in Santa Cruz for the night on our road trip up the California coast. As always, I checked Yelp for some pizza spots and found this one! I was pleasantly surprised! I loved that I was able to order online and our food was ready at the estimated time. The pizza was so delicious! We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were AMAZING! The wings were okay. I like Mountain Mike's pizza like I would buy it all the time for my family and friends but just recently I went in there and spent $40 on a pizza. I know things are more expensive but they literally skimped super hard. You could tell they took half the dough no crust just it looked like a small pizza for fucking $40 and it's supposed to be a large just disgusting dude that sucks dude they ruined it and I've already spent so much money there I will not go back. This location is right off the exit and is in a quaint strip mall by the Hilton. The pizza came out fast and was good. The location is on the smaller side compared to other Mountain Mike's but they also have a few tables outside which was nice. They also sell baklava which I had to partake in and was a nice end to the meal. Super nice staff. read more

My hubby and I stumbled upon Mountain Mike's pizza while staying at the Hilton in Scotts Valley. We had the most AMAZING PIZZA. The crust was perfect-it has the perfect crunch. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was made with love. We were greeted by the restaurant owner. He has so kind and pleasant. We also had their salad bar and had a really good size salad to go with the pizza. We live in Watsonville and have since traveled across the county to patron this restaurant. We came in near the end of the lunch buffet, and the pizza that was out was clearly old and not much left in the selection. One of the workers asked us what kind of pizza we would like for the buffet and made it fresh for our group. We really appreciated it, although I could overhear the man that was the cashier questioning the other worker about it. Came here with my young teenage son and was happy to see they had a pizza buffet! Only two flavors though. The gentleman running the shop was super nice. He made a personal pizza for my kid and brought it to our table with cheese and pepper packs too. Very thoughtful! I enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza from the buffet and the small salad bar. I walked to Mountain Mike's from the Hilton next door on a Friday night at 9:40 pm. I wanted to order pizza and salads but was told by the staff the restaurant was closed. The hours of operation posted on the door said they closed at 10:00 pm. I asked if I could get a pizza to go but the staff said they were already cleaning up. Friday night at 9:40 pm? I was so incredibly disappointed by the customer service I received. I ordered three pizzas online and when I came to pick them up, I was told they'd already been picked up. Without hesitation, I was accused of sending my husband to pick them up and trying to get free pizza. Rather than asking the employees who gave the pizzas to the customer if they had an order number or my full name, they spent 30 minutes checking with another manager if they could give me my pizzas. Even after seeing that we had been steady customers of Mountain Mike's for years. I was even told that they had footage of the person that picked him up and when I asked to see it, I was refused. They then attempted to take a picture of my photo ID for some reason. I'm not sure what happened, if somebody really did just get some free pizza off of me or if they gave somebody the wrong order. But I came in with a confirmation email and an ID that match and was hassled as if I was lying to them. They were abrasive and accusatory and just lost a customer. read more

I have never been treated so rudely by a pizza place. I have laryngitis and when I called the guy who answered the phone was not helpful and when I started asking questions he started giving me an attitude about the tone of my voice. I told him that I had laryngitis and that my voice just sounds exasperated right now and all I am simply trying to figure out was the name of the pizza I saw on their website (that I could not order from BTW). He snapped back that they have several and listed them off too quickly for me to even process what he said. I asked if I had done something to piss him off and that I felt he was being extremely curt, if not rude. He goes, "Can you hear yourself?" I reiterated that I cannot speak well right now and the tone was simply due to my laryngitis. I asked if I could speak to the manager and he told me that he was not working, so I asked the name of the manager and when he worked next. He refused to provide the name of the manager (which is John) and he continued with his rudeness, so I eventually told him to F**k off. I will never eat there and I will certainly tell everyone I know to avoid the place. No one should be treated so poorly. read more
