Very good pizza. Had the hidden forest and pepperoni Detroit style. Great balance of cheese, sauce and toppings. Keeps well, leftovers were excellent the next day. Pesto and Cholula ranch are must haves for dipping!

I love pizza series, such a great addition to Scott's valley. A more gourmet style of pizza, and I love trying the creative pies they come up with. Detroit style maintains a crispy crust Easy cheesy is always a go to, I am not even that into cheese pizza but I cannot get enough of theirs it's buttery goodness. We tried the chicken pesto recently and really liked the lemon addition! We've also tried the buffalo chicken and enjoyed it a lot, the Serrano peppers definitely have a kick though!

This is hands down my favorite pizza spot. I'm usually very sensitive to gluten and tend to get bad acid reflux from pizza, but theirs never gives me any symptoms, which honestly says everything. I love the thickness of their crust... it's perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of crisp. My go-to order is the Pep & More Detroit-style pizza, plus a side of Calabrian honey to drizzle on top. Absolutely unbeatable. It is a little pricey for the portion, but the quality and how great it makes me feel afterward make it 100% worth it. Highly recommend! This place never disappoints.

Large round pizza with caramelized onion, roasted garlic, sautéed mushrooms, plus half grilled chicken and half pepperoni

It has been a while, so we finally decided to try The Pizza Series again. In addition to Detroit-style pizza, there is now a round pizza option that I would describe as New York style. We ordered a large round pizza. Ordering online, you can indicate what you want on the whole pizza and what you want on each half. We ordered caramelized onion, roasted garlic, and sautéed mushrooms on the whole pizza, then pepperoni on one half and grilled chicken on the other half. The flavor of the pizza is the basis of my 5-star review. Delicious! Being able to have ingredients roasted, caramelized, and sautéed made an enormous difference. The pizza has the "floppiness" of New York style pizza and a slightly tough crust, but the flavor was excellent. The pepperoni is spicy, so we might skip it in the future so it doesn't overpower the other flavors we enjoy. We ordered ahead for pick up about an hour later. When my husband arrived to pick up our pizza, it was just coming out of the oven. They did not make it and let it sit around. One thing I wish The Pizza Series would add to their menu is garlic bread or bread sticks. They do have a couple of salads and various chicken wings. Toppings and pizza style are a matter of preference, but it is clear that The Pizza Series is using quality ingredients and aims for excellent service. We will be back.

Soooo glad we chose to come here to celebrate my wife's birthday while we were in the area hiking around! Pizza was so special and tasty! Staff was super friendly and had color pages galore for our 6 year old. Decor was super cute and they had outdoor seating!

The portions were huge, I could barely finish 2 slices. I loved the pep and more, and I love that they add slabs of ricotta cheese. I would love for the pesto flavor to be stronger but I loved the artichokes and garlic chunks. I would like to try some of their other flavors. The staff were nice and the food came out quickly. We pretty much had the place to ourselves, it has a lot of indoor seating, and a projector.

We have dinner here 1-2 a week and still never get through them. Their burgers and sliders are my favorite and for $15 it's the same price as a McD's combo and tastes so much better. The patties are charbroiled with crispy edges. All different versions.. including surf and turf, western and gorgonzola and arugula etc. I like the classic best. I love their side options .. besides fries they have tater tots, beer battered onion rings (tempura crispy), onion strings, and sweet potato fries. They also have pizza, tons of salad options with many options to add protein on top. The Hightower salad (has bean salad on top) and adding grilled chicken breast is my favorite. They also have pizza and other stuff but I stick to my usuals and am happy :) The nicest cashiers ever and their ranch dressing is really good, which is one of my pet peeves lol. They have sports on TV and you can sit at the bar and watch the Warriors games. They also have a couple of couches inside and outdoor seating with heat lamps. Management should have put more care into the aesthetics. The decor feels like a restaurant that's been operating for 20 years and hasn't been taken care of over that time. It seems like they didn't do much to clean the place up after Casa Nostra left. Food was underwhelming and overpriced. I can cook better than this as an amateur home cook. When I go out, I want things I can't make myself - and there's nothing here that fits outside of the bakery. My wife ordered a bowl of minestrone soup at $14. It was a bowl of vegetable tomato soup and tasted of tinned cans. We sent it back and she opted for the gorgonzola salad instead. What are these in the salad? Boiled potatoes? Weird. $16 and very mediocre. My lasagna was mediocre. The noodles were overcooked and it didn't have any form of lasagna. I'm not sure this was made in a pan like lasagna is supposed to be. It sure didn't seem like it. I'd give it a 6. I can do better at home. $24 not very well spent. My mother in-law had spaghetti with clams. The clams were like bullets, overcooked and rubbery. The sauce was okay. $28 for a bowl of noodles and a dozen clams. I'm not impressed. The devil's cake was the best thing we had all night - still fairly mediocre. The bill was just over $100 with tax and tip and I feel ripped off. Service was okay, not outstanding but not bad. It seems as though it's a crew of young people working without training or systems and no clear leadership that I could see in the place last night. If there was a manager on duty, I couldn't tell.

Just to start, everyone we interacted with to place the order, pick up, and pay were extremely friendly. The order was packed well, utensils included as we had requested. Well it turns out we ordered a lot of cabbage salad but that wasn't a problem because of how fresh, crunchy, and flavorful it was. The peanuts and basil + dressing absolutely made something simple taste exquisite. I've never eaten so much salad in my life and I would happily go back for more. The shrimp were a little on the scant side, about 8 pieces sliced in half, so 4 whole shrimp, but they were extremely tasty. Nice marinade/seasoning and great char flavor. The skewers on the other hand were quite generous, each with 6-7 giant pieces of meat. They were delicious but what I appreciated the most was that they were still tender and juicy. A lot of restaurants par-cook skewers and then just reheat them for service, which dries them out -- almost certainly everyone has experienced this before. Not at JT. They were perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. I can't say that I've had a lot of Cambodian food, but if it's as good as this, that might need to change.
