Update: they lied and never gave the refund for the churros. Original: I spent over 60 dollars here are on churros, cheese sticks and a large pizza & 4 ranch. As soon as I walked in the lady said I took 3$ off for your sauces. I thought wow that was nice because they're literally 84 cents each. She proceeded to run back and forth getting various sauces she brought 2 marinara and 4 ranch. When I got home I noticed there were no dipping sauces for the churros (which taste like literally nothing without the icing they're just bread with cinnamon not sugar). I had assumed she put it in the bag because from where I was standing the bag was already sitting open on the counter. I immediately call and tell them I want a refund. For all the churros and a guy says they can only refund the sauce. I say okay, I'm getting in the car and coming back with the churros I need a refund for all the churros lol. He said the manager was no longer in and I'd have to wait until tomorrow. So I call the next day and a different guy says they're going to give me a refund and hangs up abruptly and I think okay awesome. That's all, problem solved! No. Later in the day I get a call and the person is the woman who handed me my order initially. She tells me I'm going to give you this refund but I specifically remember telling you we had no sauce for the churros and I gave you 6 ranch to compensate??? Which wasn't true she gave me two marinara which I assumed came with the cheese sticks and then the 4 ranch I paid for. Now that makes no sense, why would extra ranch make up for not providing the sauce for a dessert. If I understood I was getting dry cinnamon powdered bread with no icing I would have asked for a refund immediately. Plus why would a company call you after they've already given you a refund just to argue with you about what was said and done. Finally to top it all off after I explained everything written above about what she provided me she kept repeating that I was mistaken and she gave me 6 ranch to make up for her not providing the icing. Then she said it one more time for good measure and decided to hang up on me. Super weird unprofessional behavior. I've lived next to the location for 10+ years and I've gone there maybe twice. Not too sure I'll go back after this such an odd experience for how much I paid for mediocre food. read more

Normally I love Mountain Mikes but this location fell a little short. The garlic herb stuffed crust was good but so dang greasy. And no, the saturation in the photo isn't all the garlic herb butter sauce on the crust. The wings were dry AF. Zero flavor the buffalo sauce because there was hardly any on there. For the price you pay even with their promotions, I'd expect a little better quality. read more

literally zero stars. called the store after i received my pizza like this and the manager said i had to have dropped it mind you i held it from my front door to my kitchen. didn't at all try to make it right just try to blame it on me, i mean the sauce leaking out the box , half of it not having the toppings, then the slices actually upside down is diabolical. if your wanting good pizza and spend your money with people who actually care about their business with caps pizza right down the street is where its at for a fraction of tge price. read more

If I could leave a review of 0 stars I would. I have ordered before plenty of times from here without an issue. And the one time I ordered and had a problem with the food being overcooked I was treated as though I was being dishonest. The single handed worker at night overcooked my pizza, wings and breadsticks. When I called to explain my dissatisfaction I was told that I could get a 25 percent discount for my next meal. I asked for a manager name and was told they have no manager that works there and I asked to confirm why that is and was told because there isn't. Buyer beware because I purchased here regularly and received the type of treatment that a customer shouldn't receive for bringing a legitimate complaint to their attention. When I visited the next day ask for a refund I was told that I was a lair and the employer that helped me that's day lied about me calling the night before to make the complaint. I was questioned as to what I did once I purchased the pizzas and why I was wanting refund after showing photos of the food burnt. The place is full of people that are obviously using and loitering and it is a location for even mountain mikes that I have never seen as bad as this location. Horrible service and the worst help you can receive. I was told if I reported them that I would be opposed with remarks from their owner that I was lying. Stay away from this location! read more

Did they get new owners at this la Riviera location? Went yesterday for lunch and it was horrible! This has always been my go to location and had always been excellent! Yesterday, pizza had hardly any toppings and very little cheese. I am so disappointed! Store was in a disarray. Not clean. Will have to now go to the fair oaks store. If the la Riviera location continues to be cheap they will definitely go out of business at this location. So sad! read more

Sometimes we come across people/businesses that still have a heart, and show kindness despite the trying times we live in. when I came into this mountain Mike's, there had been a mistake on the order of a small pizza, and it wasn't thier fault it was mine. I had been in Sacramento navigating a family emergency with my daughter hospitalized and us very far from home. when the mistake happened, I took the pizza and went to the car, opened it and realized my son wouldn't be able to eat it. I broke down crying outside, and this is what I mean, the owner not only noticed, he came up put a hand on my shoulder gently an encouraged me to come back in, despite crying and being a wreck. he offered to remake the pizza, no charge, and went even further to ask if there was anything he could do, I shared some of our story, and he asked me how many were in my family, and if more pizza on him would help. I graciously thanked him, declined as one was enough, and just asked for prayers for us all. I asked him for a hug in that moment because as a mom, life gets sooooooo difficult and draining and scary, and as a mom I try to be strong for my kids, but sometimes it's too much. the human side of this gentlman was above and beyond. I'm sorry I took this long to write this review but I knew I had to. I don't know your name, or why you didn't just walk past me that day? but I thank God you spoke with me, and solved what felt like a huge problem in the moment. I ordered 2 hours early via phone for delivery at my business at a certain time. I ordered 4 pizzas all mountain sizes. One cheese, one pepperoni, two combo type pizzas. All were very good. Half way through the pizza and noticed a pink tint on the underside of a piece of sausage. One of my kids probably ate some. I like my steak medium rare but not my sausages. Seems like new ownership (probably foreign) - Who's trying to cut corners to make a buck at the expense of quality. He would not grant a discount and proceeded to have a casual conversation about football with another employee as I waited 15 minutes for the pizza to cook. The pizza was pretty good. It doesn't taste like cardboard like some of the cheaper chain pizza places. They are a bit on the pricey side. $40 for one pizza and a few chicken wings is too much. We gave up trying to order on their website. It took longer trying to figure out the website than it did calling it in and picking it up. They told us 1/2 hour to pick it up, but in total it was more like 50 minutes. To be fair, we ordered it an hour before they closed. They did not accept cash which is fine, but they might want to tell you that before you go pick it up. But if I'm rating the pizza. It was good. read more

I wish I could give zero stars but I have to give 1 star to write a review. We ordered a thin crust pizza, over $50 with tip. Pizza arrived 45 minutes later and looked great but then we discovered it was not thin crust. I have diabetes and can't have all the carbs, so we called to report the mistake. We were informed that they would bring a replacement but that they would collect the old pizza, so now we're talking an hour and a half to wait for our pizza. The manager then called us back to very rudely confirm that the first pizza would be collected. When the replacement arrived the delivery woman was also rude and the pizza looked awful. The pizza was slid to the side of the box and it didn't have enough toppings. We were extremely disappointed with the so called customer service and will never order from here again. read more

Ok first off? I have no affiliation with this pizza place but I typically read reviews before I try a new restaurant, and I have to say most of poor reviews for this location are reeeeeeediculous--and more importantly have nothing to do with the actual pizza. Which is really, REALLY good. The pepperoni pizza is seriously amazing: the pepperoni curls into crispy little cups of joy. No flat, average pepperonis here! In addition, the texture is just perfect. I want to try the other flavors but it's just so good I'm not sure if I'll get the chance! The ranch dip is also very solid. Get the cute heart-shaped pizza if you order around Valentine's Day! I was very impressed with the service, the guy I spoke to on the phone was very polite, and the delivery guy was also great, calling to let us know when he was almost at our location and found our door right away even though the address is a bit confusing. Whilst we were waiting we had an incredible Californian cider Berry/Hibiscus. The service from everyone there was so friendly we wanted to stay and not do take out! My husband and I order from Mountain Mikes every week and I'd love to give this location 5 stars but lately the quality has been going down. We always get an order of their garlic cheese sticks and the garlic part of that item has been lacking. It used to be this wonderful burst of garlic flavor in every bite but these last few weeks it's been extremely bland. It just taste like plain crust with cheese on top. I hope they fix this or we'll be moving on to a different location. read more
