Mountain Mike's is one of our favorite pizza spots, but it's tough to find a place that's really clean and neat. We stumbled upon this one after a walk along the river, and it turned out to be a great find. The location is awesome--super clean inside and in the bathrooms. The service was fantastic, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. It felt awesome to enjoy some classic pizza at a place that's so clean after a long time. This is definitely going to be our new go-to spot. read more

I returned to this Mountain Mike's about a year and a half after having a bad experience, hoping to give them another chance. Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed again. The pizza was extremely greasy, and there was an excessive amount of grease throughout the food. The chicken wings also did not taste good and were not what I expected. I really wanted to give this location another chance, but unfortunately, the experience didn't improve. Honestly, I really wish Chevy's Fresh Mex were still at this location--it would be great to have them back. They have a nice looking bar here that would be nice to drink at but there is never any customers inside this store. read more

Our first time here on 9/12/26 and it will be our last. For starters customer service, in which they failed. The young lady who brought our appetizers and pizza out from the beginning to the end, had such a strong attitude. I asked for a cup of water for my mom. She walked away and she rolled her eyes. She rolled her eyes again when we asked for cheese, peppers, and ranch. After spending $60 with a five dollar tip is not worth my time or day to be treated like this. I hope that the owners of Mountain Mike's will improve their customer service skills with all of their employees to show enthusiasm and willing to help a customer versus rolling their eyes or throwing attitude. Being generous I left a five dollar tip when I paid for the pizza in advance. With the service provided, I should've never left a tip!! read more

We order from our local Mountain Mike's a lot but this was the first time I've even been inside one. This Gold River location is really big and super clean, with a large seating area and bar. I ate in the bar area with my group and the service from the bartender was wonderful. He was very attentive and friendly. I have been watching my calories so I had a mini pizza. It comes with up to three toppings and I had mushroom, onion and artichoke. They had three different onion choices which was nice too - I got red. My pizza was fresh and delicious and just the perfect size for me. I even ate all the crust which is unusual for me. They have plenty of choices for toppings, specialty pizzas and sauces, and lots of good beers on tap. Would definitely recommend. read more

Cooked to perfection! What I love about mountain Mike says the amount of pepperonis they put on the pizza. Substituting for white sauce is always a must! The customer service upon the call in as well as when we walked in to pick it up was very nice and welcoming. The crust was cooked perfectly read more

We ordered a large pizza and garlic bread sticks from there The pizza was so oily it leaked onto my seats of my 80k truck and took hrs to have it cleaned also the pizza was like cardboard and worst pizza I have had in years Caution when ordering from there it was terrible read more

8:30 pm on a Friday night and no delivery because the driver left already. Disappointed and ordered elsewhere....This was the first review I left. Tried to give them another chance and placed an order on line. Called the restaurant to confirm the order was received. I had to call TWELVE times because someone kept answering the phone and hanging up. I finally speak to "ZOE" who tells me that she was getting ready to call me to tell me that delivery is closed. It's only 8:19 pm and they already charged my card. Told her that I would be reporting this to the owner and Mountain Mikes Corporate Office and she had a very non-chalant attitude and could care less. Mountain Mikes has permanently lost my business. It's a disgrace to see a business operated this way and I sure as hell won't support it. read more

This place has some of the best workers especially Fred in the bar, food is always hot and delicious. Salad bar needs to be maintained a bit better with croutons and fresh salad, but overall place is on point. read more

Pizza was 100% great! There location is somewhat difficult to find but there pizza is really good like a $60 20" pizza should be!

Our go to place with kids in Gold River. Great staff. Fred is the man. Look for the online coupons

Talk about a cool spot to enjoy sporting events on TV or just spend time with friends and family, but even if you go alone, you'll feel like a regular here. Robbie which I probably spelled wrong and I apologize but I forgot his wife's name, own this really cool and modern Mountain Mikes. I've been to plenty of Mountain Mike's but none of them have been as modern, clean, and friendly as this one, oh and of course, the food was delicious and the beer was great !! If you are nearby, check it out, if your not, it's worth the drive read more

Really good service. I got a discounted offer and an email. I tried to use it on the app and it wouldn't accept the coupon code. I called the restaurant location and they were able to apply it to my order. Thanks again. read more

Very cozy location , sports bar feel. This is how other Mountain Mikes should be . Staff friendly , food is great. Almost 5 stars. 1 star less because pepperoni pizza looked dry a bit over cooked. read more

This past Christmas I was on the hunt to find a venue for my branch's annual Holiday Luncheon that would a suit all of our needs: delicious food, large enough to accommodate our group of 40, private area where we could be loud & rowdy, and all for a reasonable price. Jackpot! This Mountain Mikes checked off everything for us. I will say this Mountain Mikes establishment was definitely not like the ones I've been to! Walking into the restaurant, immediately I could see it just went under renovations. The owners did a beautiful job with the layout and designing of the restaurant. A modern rustic appeal where you would forget that you're even at a Mountain Mikes. I noticed it had plenty of open space for dining inside, patio seating, a bar to hang out at enjoying many of their thirst quenching beers on tap, equipped with sports bar TV's, arcade machines, a salad bar with a variety of toppings to choose from, and best of all a very spacious private room perfect for my work's holiday party. We had the choice of 4 different types of pizzas, the salad bar, and fountain drinks as part of our package. Our group chose Pepperoni, The Everest, Mt. Veggemore, and Chicken Club. All these choices completely satisfied us! You can definitely taste the quality put into their pizza which was delightful. :) Thank you again for having us Mountain Mikes!!! read more

I come for the lunch buffet pretty often since I work in the area. There is always pizza ready on time for the buffet and the salad bar is great. The only reason why I give 3 stars is because the worker that tends to be here almost every time I come is extremely rude and just short with his responses. It has stopped me from wanting to come here anymore. There's no reason to have an attitude 1 hour into your shift read more

Great service and of course the best pizza in town! I remember when I first moved to Sacramento and discovering Mountain Mikes pepperoni pizza one of those first few nights in town with me family. With the curved up pepperoni slices we all became obsessed! This location has a beautiful bar with many TVs with a variety of sports playing. They have quite a few beers on tap- I had the Fort Rock ($5.50) as part of their seasonal rotation. They also have a wine list here, unlike the usual sports bar/pizza place when your only option is red or white- no variances, so that's great for the wine lover who also wants to catch a game and some amazing pizza. The staff was so friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed while I sat at the bar enjoying my pizza, beer, and random conversation with the place's regulars. Great place for a solo night, date night, or family dinner with enough space for everyone. read more

This pizza was huge! The pepperoni are the little cups they are really tasty, crust was crunchy a really nice surprise considering the size. I live in LA and we don't have this franchise. So it's nice treat when we visit Nor Cal. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered a pizza from them and it was not made correctly as I asked for. I try and resolve the situation today and the best they wanna do for me is $10 off my next order because they feel justified that because I got a discount on my order that it makes it OK that the pizza was not made correctly because I got a discount on it. I was basically told take or leave what they were offering me as a resolution. They refuse to remake my pizza. I will not be giving them my business anymore and I will never recommend anybody go to this Mountain Mike's. I don't know if the owner is aware that there's multiple Mountain Mike's in the area as well as many pizza places to choose from including Costco where you can get a large pepperoni pizza that taste better than their pizza. read more

This place was horrible it was disgustingly hot inside no air, salad bars veggies were old no selection it was lunch all you can eat no pizza ready and we waited for nothing once we finally got our food it was horrible poor customer service we ended up asking for our money back establishment was really dirty. This Mountain Mikes was the worst I will never go back. read more

Picked up the BEST Mountain Mikes pizza in 20 years. The topping was distributed perfectly. The crust was cooked perfectly and was extremely tasty. Having worked in the pizza business in the past, I recognize it when heart and soul are in a great pizza. The inside of the restaurant was well lit, spotless, and very organized. There's plenty of space for distancing and large groups. I loved the bar area and all of the television monitors with sports. I plan on spending more time there. I was greeted by one of the owners who was kind, caring, and showed her love for her business. This is a MUST for your next pizza experience. You'll be happy you did! read more

It's Pizza Week!! This location a first and you will find it's spacious dinning for the whole family. You walk in and it does not feel like a pizza joint with loud music , crazy deco and huge booth tables. What you get here is a cool atmosphere , lots of room for families , parties , meetings , high top tables , a beverage center and salad bar also bar with beer on tap and tv screens for sport fans. The menu filled with pizza specialties Pizza was delicious!! the crust was nice and crisp .... ohI think we tried them all from veggie to Hawaiian and some tasty wings can't go wrong with an icy cold beverage. Staff very helpful and friendly , Robby was going around saying "Hello" to customers and service was TOP! will certainly return again for more pizza! read more

I am extremely upset. We order the same pizza every single time. My partner picks it up, and they completely butcher our order (mind you, it should also be in our history of past orders). He asks if they can fix it. Fast forward, this was the end result--uncooked veggies and still no pepperoni. Thanks "Daniil" for getting our same order completely wrong and giving us poor service. read more

Having been to Mountain Mikes pizza several times over 30 years, this location was definitely the best experience I've ever had. The interior is modern, the bar is full of TVs and the beer list is an actual beer list of excellent beers. We ordered two pizzas and each were very well prepared. The best part was the bartender Fred who treated us to a regular dining experience. He seated our group, took our order, brought our drinks and overall was an A+ server which I didn't expect at a chain pizza place. Fred works Tues-Thursday so if you're in the area you should definitely check things out. He was awesome read more

Management was rude, cashier messed our order up. Then our grandkids didn't get their pizza. Female managers was terrible when dealing with the public. We had a party of nine spent well over $200.00. Yet they refused to make our grandkids a mini pizza.? This place sucks. I still am a fan of Mountain Mike's. read more

I've been a lifelong Mt Mikes enthusiast. I grew up in a small town and Mt Mikes was the only restaurant in town. This location is legit. I can tell the owner is chill even though I never met him because his employees are chill. Peperoni and pineapple pizza for the win. Some people think you cant put fruit on a pizza but these people are morons because a base of a pizza is the sauce and guess what a tomato is..... Exactly a fruit. read more

Don't support them anymore. They try to upsell you after giving a very specific order. I ordered a mini. It's just me for this meal. If I wanted a large, much less two, especially with a topping I didn't ask for, I would have ordered it. Treating your customer like an idiot makes the business look dumb. It's no wonder places are failing. Service is just as important as food. Just another in a long list of places that don't deserve our hard earned money in Rancho Cordova. read more

I love Mountain Mikes Pizza but this is not a good location. The pizza is usually not ready even when they are not busy and today it was over 20 later than the time they promised. Everyone else that ordered ahead just walked right out with their pizza. And no concessions from the staff because they were late! Will NOT be returning to this location! read more

Best pizza in town!!! Go on a weekday and you'll see one of the best and polite bartenders. You will want to go back.

This has to be the best Mountain Mike's Pizza location and experience I have ever had. I really enjoy the happy hour specials here along with their delicious food. The wings are amazing and the pizza is so yummy. The bar is beautiful and has the best beer selection. I love that for me, it is on the way home from where I work which means frequent pop ins for dinner on my way home from a long work day. The employees are super nice here and I even had the chance to meet with the owner who is a family man and who is very nice. As if the corporate infatuation with mountains and the 8 pointed star logo symbolism isnt weird enough, I ordered a medium half and half specialty pizza on the 4th of July. One of the slices had a very strong and strange chemical taste. Resembling a household cleaning chemical. In 2019 I was poisoned with a caustic substance in a pizza. This is very reminiscent of that experience. Immediate sharp pains after ingestion, pain localized to different areas as it was undergoing digestion. Are the employees here incompetent with cleaning practices or are they malicious? I'll let you readers decide. And the next time something like this happens, I will certainly have my friends cousin scientifically analyze the slice in a lab. And if any employees or higher ups of Mountain Mikes are taking bribes to taint specific peoples pizza, or doing it on their own accord, mark my words, it will be discovered and exposed. Let's hope, for your sake, that this was simply cleaning procedure incompetence. read more
