This review is for the Heart-Shaped Pizza that obviously is overrated. I basically got suckered into thinking this would a fun thing to surprise my family for Valentines Day LOL! It's advertised as a large but it's actually more of a medium size pizza- had only 10 slices! So now it's not enough food for us, gotta get something else. Paid $37 and they forgot to add my green onions nor did they refund me for the additional topping charge. This is why I hate pre-tipping! Absolutely, the worst service and management of all time. I see why this place is nearly completely empty every I drive by. I was a long time fan of Mike's in Citrus Heights, and have ordered from there many times. So after I saw this lie of a "promotion" while my family was attending a Kings game (see picture) they didn't honor the tiny "6 inch" pizza (which you also had to by a 2 liter bottle for, lol) but, then they were rude and then called their manager. I then saw the only customer they had bussing their own table. The manager instructed the poor young girl employee to give me the number of a third party customer service line. Which, I called out of principle. I explained it to all of them was a " special gift" to my wife whom had just has a seizure. And could use a small bit of comfort food. Their number was 855-538-3542 I talk to them to no avail. And have got no response! I urge anyone from the Dry Creek School district to avoid this place. I work with the schools here and will choose any of the local pizza places (Round Table, Domino's and Little Ceasear's, and Papa Murphy's) which are all Surrounding this corner of Elverta. Eaten here a few time already. First time running into the owner and it wasn't pleasant. He didn't want honor the coupon code we had and we used it a few times here. We ordered our pizza's at 7:35 pm and told they would be ready at 8:10pm. We were at the restaurant at 8:10, paid for our pizza's and waited until 8;40,I went up to the window and asked how long it would be, so he looked up our order and went to the warmer and retrieved our pizzas. She said they called our name and no one responded. I told her we were standing in front of the counter the whole time, not more than 4 feet away. No one even came to the counter during that time and there were several people waiting there as well. The young lady did apologize. The pizza wasn't that warm when we got home with it. read more

I understand times are different, but when you order food and you pick it up, you should make sure your items are up to par. The wings we ordered was unbelievable. The size of the drum wing was less than a thump size, but it was so disform it was scary. I called to explained and the Manger basically said we serve all our customers that, not one time did he state sorry you weren't happy with your order bring it back and we'll make it right. We didn't even want to go back if he offered. It's the principal of customer service. Being a business owner customer service is still key. This establishment is in our community, you try and support but there's other franchises that treat you waaay...better. read more

So far, visually, the tables are not clean.. sadly (2 tables to be exact). Our table which looked clean needed a good wipe down as it had red sauce stains. Also, they have tent number signs for your order, but would rather yell your name out than use them. Now the pizza: we ordered the Mt. Veggiemore, which was delicious, but no one came back to check up on us to see if we needed anything else. Negatives: their first pizza of the lunch special at 1120 am was a hawaiian pizza that was extremely undercooked and doughy. I politely showed the workers just as a courtesy and they said more will be out but never took back the undercooked pizza and left it for the other customers to eat. Their salad bar is bland and the bench seats were too tight, even for a smaller woman of my stature, no biggy. Positives: they made a DELICIOUS chicken bacon alfredo pizza so we just stuck to that one. read more

This has got to be the worst pizza I have ever tasted. The crust is like cardboard. I got the thin crust and the regular crust. I had a coupon for buy one, get medium for free. So I got the large vegetarian. I asked to remove the olives and mushrooms and add extra onions and bell peppers. The man that took my order told me that was against company policy to ADD extra without charging you. I said I am removing 2 items and replacing. He said it did not matter. Then when I picked up my pizzas and paid with my card. I got charged $1.20 processing fee!!!!. This is ridiculous. No wonder the store was empty. I will never go back here. Ordered online, waited 30 min before we left the house to pick up pizzas, they were not ready when we arrived (there was no one in the restaurant except us) so we went next door to WinCo did some shopping before returning to MM. pizzas were done this time. Pizzas were cooked to our specifications but nothing amazing as far as taste. I thought it was not a very good value for the money. Family size was $40.00 rather pricey for what we got. By far the worst Mountain Mike's ever. The cashier acted like he did not know what he was doing. I was over charged and got money stolen from my credit card because he did not having the capability of doing his job properly. He insisted he returned the funds to my card but had to evidence to prove it. He responded as he did nothing wrong and I was at fault. We had a great experience only due to our cashier/hostess. I wish I got her name now. She was friendly and went the extra mile to help carry items to our table while we chased our 2 year old around. She made friendly comments helping me feel better after my kid just ate sh*t in the middle of the room and was crying. The only downfall to this place is that there is not much for kids there is a claw machine that we wasted $12 on and is damn near impossible to win and then some gumball machines but the pizzas good the atmosphere is good and the employees in my experience are down to earth and relatable. read more

Interior is small, dingy , setup like a cafeteria instead of a classier sit down pizza restaurant that is ready to charge me $25 for a smaller sized large pie... It's like they're trying to be round table, or pizzeria uno (chicago chain) without actually making the place comfortable. Enter the rude middle-eastern owner/manager guy. In a rude fashion, he demanded I pay for an entire adult buffet in addition to the child buffet. I explained to him what happened, and he would have none of it. I offered to pay the difference for an adult buffet by handing him $2, and again, he demanded full payment.
