This is a five star stay! Facility is phenomenal, inn keeper fantastic and food is sensational! Rooms are private and quiet with separate living rooms for unwinding. Not to mention this place is tricked out with gadgets from heated floors to heated toilets with built in bidets. So much better than any hotel you could find!

I invited family here for the first time over the weekend, had a great memory of this place from…read morewhen I was a child. They were very friendly at the front desk at check-in and while we were staying, the swimming spot was nice the views were great. Friendly restaurant. Mostly friendly staff. The showers for camping were musty though, would suffocate you in mildew smell while u shower and your only other option is the other ones closer to the campsites which I wouldn't even step into. Definitely no bare feet in either shower and make sure you don't touch the walls. The float was super fun and beautiful, the boat guys were nice until our last morning, we hadn't even checked out yet let alone there was no info on a checkout time and were not near home or know the area much. We figured we would let the kids swim one last time before heading out and get some fishing in, we were all packed up. My children and I floated down the rapids and caught ourselves at the sand bar of Dawt Mill that we were just staying at. One of the boat dudes asked if i was staying at Dawt mill I said yes but we were checking out today. He then said well then you need to get the hell off our sand. right to me and my children. I got upset and said some words to the guy and asked his name for being so rude. He then told me none of my fucking business. I got out on the other side of the water walked up to the front desk. The guy had already ran up there with his buddy and told front desk whatever he told them. The front desk had no manager on site at first then the lady proceeded to say she was the assistant manager but wouldn't give me her name or the boat guys name. She gave no eye contact and treated me like a pest, She then said checkout was at 11am so just shrugged her shoulders about how he acted, and then said "that's not what she heard" and then rudely said sorry we've been getting a lot of ppl not staying here going on our sand so he was probably just frustrated. Which is not my problem when he made me feel so unwelcome and uneasy, ruined my last morning and we weren't even hanging out on the sand we just got off the rapids there cuz it was easier with my children in stow. I didn't think I'd be so unwelcomed not even an hour after the checkout time. After not being able to assist me properly she called the boat guys manager who then said that it should've been okay for us to swim there since we were just there staying out of the way and the guy just probably didn't remember me and that he was sorry for what happened etc, I said thankyou for the sorry and consideration and I was glad there was actually someone with customer service around, but we just loaded up and left and not sure if we will ever be back. There is too many other places available on the North Fork River to be explored.

The staff are students working to pay for their tuition. It is a large elegant building with plenty of room for groups, but at times there is a wait. We had the chicken fried chicken and the meatloaf entrees. Both were served with green beans and mashed potatoes. They offer complimentary bread with three types of butter. We really enjoyed the apple butter! And dessert is not to be missed. We had the apple pie, and it was delicious, and more than enough for the two of us. You can peruse the shop before or after your meal to see some of the student made products.

The dining hall is beautifully adorned with cabin-esque motif and overlooks the campus and mountains. The menu has a great variety and notes items that are made by the students (e.g. butters and cakes). Their complimentary, fresh made bread basket with three types of butters was a fantastic start to the meal. We ordered the mushroom soup, the pork belly sandwich w/ fries, and the shrimp and grits. I will say that the pork belly po' boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! I almost stayed in town longer on the second day just to order it again. The pork belly was smoky, tender, and sweet and paired so well with the grain mustard, pickled onions and arugula -- superb balance of flavors. My husband also noted the shrimp and grits was some of the best he's ever had. The shrimp and pork belly in the dish were perfectly cooked and the Cajun spices were well balanced. And we have to tell you to try their fresh desserts. The brown butter chocolate cake was a special ending to the meal. This is an excellent stop and our student server provided excellent service - they're doing a great job there and is a highly recommended of ours during your stop during your visit to Branson.

I asked if my family could be split into two rooms because at least one of the other mattresses in the other rooms was clean. Management said they could give me bedding to lay on mattress. When I refused the front desk guy canceled my reservation it was 11:00 pm and my family and I had no where to stay. (Fall break week and everything was booked.) I was hours and hours away from home. When we arrived, we were required to pay an $160 in cleaning fees. We weren't thrilled about it, b/c it's not what we were told when we called ahead, but we paid assuming that it meant our rooms would be extremely clean. WE WERE WRONG. We come to Branson resorts yearly, and this is our singular bad experience. CLEANLINESS When we got to the rooms, there were a half dozen large spider webs/spiders in one of the rooms. The bathtubs was dirty and stained, and the carpet made our feet dirty. The faucets were corroded. We had to spend a significant amount of time cleaning in order to feel quasi-comfortable bring in our things. QUALITY The walls were extremely thin and we could hear everything. The second night, we were startled awake at 2 AM by a couple having sex, & we are not light sleepers. No one could go back to sleep. The continued noise (even after calling the front desk) was so disruptive that our youngest was scared to tears and thought someone was getting hurt. We actually had to leave and pack into our other room to finally go back to sleep. We were told this resort was recently updated and the websites needed to photos, but we didn't find evidence of any renovation. The cabinets were falling off, drywall cracked, fixtures installed incorrectly/crooked, and one of our doors going to the outside was broken. The furniture was old/cheap and nothing coordinated. Even the TVs were mounted crooked to the wall! COMFORTABILITY The beds were hard and lumpy, and so were the pillows. The dining chairs were extremely uncomfortable and small. Not once in our four nights there did I feel like I could relax. The towels were small & there were only TWO in the room!! AMENTITIES There are no food options on site or within walking distance that we could find. We couldn't ever get connected to the WIFI with any of our devices. The pool is small. Everything in the gym seemed sticky. We had to buy everyday kitchen items normally already at resorts we've stayed at in the past. CUSTOMER CARE The man at check in was rude. When we went to the front desk the next day with our issues w/ photos, the manager was unapologetic and dismissive. They took zero accountability, and she actually asked us if we wanted to go on a sales tour. PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR FAMILY THROUGH STAYING HERE. YOU'LL REGRET IT.
