My only complaint about the room was the cheap grade of toilet paper. Also, anyone over 6 feet tall should be prepared to crouch a bit in the shower. My husband and I both are under 6 feet tall so it wasn't a problem for us. We also dined in their restaurant both nights. The first night my husband and I both had the filet, which was delicious though a bit overcooked. We both asked for medium and received medium-well almost well done steaks. We added the mushroom sauce and it was wonderful. The second night my husband got the filet again and it was cooked to perfection. I got the Tuscan chicken and it was delicious as well. They only serve wine and beer but that was ok because we were both in the mood for wine both nights. They also had a red sangria that was to die for. It's a bit pricey but the food is excellent and the view is phenomenal.

Nicely priced at $100 per night for a 2 bedroom cabin. We stayed in one that was not renovated yet…read more- it was a little rough. Bugs were apparent both alive and dead - a can of roach spray was in the kitchen cabinet so they know they have a problem. Our unit reminders me of a fishing camp of Grand Isle in Louisiana - a place for guys and a lot of beer to over look the sub-handyman build outs. There are some nice views of the lake. My group talked about leaving for a real hotel at about 11:00 pm but everyone had a couple of drinks so we decided to stay. The place is somewhat a work in progress and there is evidence of renovation - hope they get it together. Note: the queen size beds in our unit seemed like double size - if we come again I will request a renovated unit and bring our own pillows.

It has a boat dock where you can store your boat, and if you don't has a small beach area where you can just swim and hang out. The cabins are clean newly renovated and spacious with upgraded appliances while still offering that "country camping" charm. There is a kids play place with sandpit, fire pit and grills guest can use. Also on Sundays for a fair price they offer the best homemade pizza around. If you do not own a boat you can rent his pontoon for 1/4 the price of anywhere else for the entire day. He has a spacious boat dock to store your boat/ pontoon and a blow up floating trampoline on the water. Take It Easy is not only kid and family friendly but pet friendly as well.
