Their top guide is a little arrogant, but knows how to find the trout and will drift fish rather than anchor, which was nice. Would I return? Probably. However, I'd make most of my meals in the cabin and just do a dinner in the restaurant. One thing that's nice is they will cook your catch in the restaurant and prepare to your specifications.

There is a kids play place with sandpit, fire pit and grills guest can use. Also on Sundays for a fair price they offer the best homemade pizza around. If you do not own a boat you can rent his pontoon for 1/4 the price of anywhere else for the entire day. He has a spacious boat dock to store your boat/ pontoon and a blow up floating trampoline on the water. Take It Easy is not only kid and family friendly but pet friendly as well. The Bayou Resort is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean but are not overly modern they have all the ammenities that you need to stay for a few day. The kitchenettes have pots & pans, plates & flatware. The resort is almost a stones throw from Norfork lake so you can be in or on the water in about 5-10 minutes. The resort also has a pool if you don't feel like going down to the lake or if you just need to have a change of pace. We have been coming here for 5 years and have always had a good experience. So if you need a place close to the lake you could do alot worse than staying at the Bayou Resort.
