Their top guide is a little arrogant, but knows how to find the trout and will drift fish rather than anchor, which was nice. Would I return? Probably. However, I'd make most of my meals in the cabin and just do a dinner in the restaurant. One thing that's nice is they will cook your catch in the restaurant and prepare to your specifications.

My husband & I had to sleep separately, me in a single bed & him in an unstable double bed. There was a loft but that's where dirt dobbers hung out. Cabin was clean. Water pressure not good. There's more but I think I made my point. If you book this anyway, take repellent as the mosquitoes were really bad in mid June.

We planned a father sons fishing trip with 2 other father and son duos. It was our 11 and 12 year olds first time to ever trout fish. We were told we would be able to wade out at the location. Unfortunately that was not true and the water drops off rapidly at the bank. That's ok, we fished from the bank. Only one trout was caught on our 3 days there but that's fishing. The amenities are a little less than you would expect given the price but again...it's a fishing cabin and certainly no resort. However, a mistake made during booking online is where our sub par experience turned to a terrible one. To keep it short and simple 2 kids under the age of 11 were left off of the online application. To which WE brought to the owners attention at check out only to have the owner state we were dishonest and charge an extra $240 to our trip. It is clear the owners here are not interested in your fishing experience but rather making as much money as they can while misrepresenting a so called grand fishing experience. I cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone looking to catch fish from the bank, enjoy scenic White River views, or have a quality experience with family and friends.

The owners are great at communication for setting up the rental and give you privacy while you are there but are always around if you need anything. It was a perfect place to stay for our siblings weekend.

AC worked, TV worked, shower had warm water, oven and microwave worked. Everything inside was likely from 70s except the flooring. 1-access road to boat slip from cabin. Very steep road. Recommend a truck or jeep. 0-boat ramp and road to boat ramp. It's a long winding road, some places were a 1 to 1 grade, at most its 10 to 12 ft wide, boulders, dried mud, and loose gravel. To make matters worse it's one way. I can't imagine trying to pull over in a ditch or trying to back up if another truck pulling a trailer was going the opposite direction. The boat ramp was 90 degrees to the road. There is not a courtesy dock at the ramp. It was super stressful getting the boat in and out of the water. *The nearest grocery store or restaurant was probably 30-40 min drive oneway. *I would recommend staying on the Southside, near Bull Shoals. There are options for excursions, food, supplies, ramps at the two main marinas are easy, lots of slips, you also have access to the river downstream of the dam. *Sister Creek. Great spot for groups, couples, and families. Just recommend that someone in your party has a 4x4 and your fully stocked with food and drink. The primary reason, I would avoid it, is due to the road to the boat ramp. Which is outside of the owner's control.
