Just too many to choose from! That's the bottom line! I need to bring my foodie friends so I can try a little of everything! And when you get takeaway pies make sure you get them to write down what they are! Got vegetarian pies and one was beef, not what I paid for A lot of vegetarian options too The layout inside is impressive. Wall art and the look makes it have a modern feel Tried the big breakfast which has chorizo and hollandaise sauce on it,a little too sweet with the sauce but u still liked it and it's filling Tried the hot custard pie,it was actually hot and it just tasted that much better because of it. Not too sweet either The Apple pie was ok,lots of chunks of apples but didn't have much taste I like the pastry on the pie,it's thick enough so it don't just collapse with the weight Of the ingredients inside So easy to drive past this place,in fact our friend did and had to back track The exterior looks like a fast food chain but it's much better inside Worth trying!

Great pies! We had this place on our list of stops and it did not disappoint. I had the beef, bacon, and cheese pie and my wife had the steak, mushroom, and Guinness pie. The pies and the crust were very tasty. Served nice and hot. The coffee and hot choclate were also good. We couldn't leave without having dessert, so we tried the lemon tart and the salted caramel meringue tart. Both were great. The lemon filling was very lemony and I could have eaten the pastry part all by itself. It was that good. Lots of seating and I imagine it can get busy. We were there just after 1pm and had no problem finding a place to sit.

Took a walk to Wentworth Fall then stopped by Mountain High Pies as it was recommended by a friend. I am usually a fruit pie kind of person however, this was surprisingly delicious. I highly recommend the green chicken curry and pepper steak. Best meat pie by far, worth the drive!

My bacon, steak and cheese pie - so good!!

They aren't the cheapest pie you'll ever get, but they have a large selection of pies and they're tasty! Their coffee is good too!

Wentworth Falls however is well worth the drive if you are going from Sydney.

Still, I'm a big online fan because otherwise I can spend half a day looking for somewhere to eat. And the online menu does say they love people with allergies. However there is no mention of gluten or gluten free on the menu. Maybe this is related to the tightening of Australian rules into "gluten friendly" rather than gluten free. Since their specialty is hot sandwiches, I'm up in the air on the gluten front. If they will allow choosing from the sides and extras menu, that would be perfect. I also like how many of their prices have stayed reasonable, with five dollar coffees, I don't know if I can eat them but their egg sandwiches for Brekky look positively dreamy.

What a unique interior- hard to explain but almost like being on a ship. They told us they have a business in Alaska and fish for their own salmon and transport it here so of course I had to try the special. It was fantastic. Can't eat it like a sandwich so ask for a fork :) Hubs had the Deli Rose and loved it. Ate every bit. Friendly service, lots of languages spoken here. Loved it Aussie 43.50

Great local cafe that serves really good coffee which you can enjoy in the beautiful leafy courtyard outside or inside by the fireplace. The food's good too, with even a few vegetarian and gluten free options. I stopped by for a coffee the other day and found very friendly service and considered taking up barista-ing as a fitness regime. Poor guy didn't stop for a second the whole time I was there. It's obviously a favourite place for locals, as take-away business was constant. And said locals are obviously lovely, a woman stopped by to say she'd had a coffee there yesterday and then suddenly realised in the middle of the night that she'd walked away accidentally without paying. She handed over her $4 and everybody smiled.

I had been in Sydney for about a week and couldn't find any good salad options on most of the restaurants I went to. There were plenty of salad and gluten free options on this menu, I got the chicken salad - $24.90 iceberg lettuce, avocado, cucumber, pickled ginger. I'm Not sure if the salad was that great or if I was so excited to finally eat a salad. I don't remember the service being that great. I was in/out pretty quickly. The restaurant was cute but I don't remember seeing the views that some others mentioned.

I sat by the window and ordered as quickly as I could. Since I was with a tour group, I had limited time, so ended up having to take my food to go. I went with the Sesame Crusted Atlantic Salmon, served with pan fried potatoes and avocado salsa. The Salmon was lightly fried, delicately crispy, tender and well seasoned. That Sesame crust was also beautifully done, with black sesame and regular sesame. Potatoes were nice and crunchy, with great flavor, while the avocado salsa included red pepper and onion, which gave it a lovely acidity. This was fresh and colorful addition to the dish. For dessert, I had the Sticky Date Cake with butterscotch sauce. I've tried this in the States, and wasn't really a fan but having it in Australia was a much better experience. The cake was delightfully moist, with the wonderful taste of dates, was made even tastier with the rich, sweet sauce with notes of caramel and toffee. Service was pretty good. The waiter came right away, but the food just took a little longer than expected.
