The worst customer service ever! Was in the area and saw a small stand thought OK I will support the small stand instead of Starbucks. Pulled up to the window and noticed there was only one little sign that showed what they had to serve. It was so small I could barely read it and I looked around and said hi what kind of specials do you have today or do you have pictures of the coffees you have or suggestions? She looked at me odd and said no we are not Dutch brothers! And I said oh normally there's pictures and or specials of the day with suggestions I just didn't know what I wanted so I was looking for some ideas. she said you're at the wrong place and you should probably leave. And I said I was just asking because I didn't see anything on the outside of your stand? And she said no you should leave and I said are you joking I was just asking what you had and she said get the fuck out of here! I was a palled at the woman's customer service! No wonder there is no line around her building and she has no customers and poor reviews! read more

Do not come here. The owner the older blonde hag. She is so rude had no business skills, the only nice reviews are from old men. I pulled in just wanting a quick coffee and usually the little shops make good coffee. I pulled up to the first window and she had so much stuff in front of it I thought she was closed. I drove around to the other side and looked in she was standing in the corner. ‍ She comes to the window And goes. Um that's weird I work out of both sides. Mind you in a rude condescending voice. Like I'm the idiot about to pay this rude as beach. I hold in my inner bitch and give her a chance. I ordered my drink which she then tells me she doesn't have that size. Oh ok it's clearly on your menu but ok. Basically this lady's business skills or lack of make it more of headache to go here. First and last visit. I'm giving this place 5 Stars. It's not even the business I'm reviewing but at this point what does it matter? The business I wanted to review (since we are in the state of - this could go two different directions from here - is The Gallery who's prime sales item is in fact legal in this state and can produce a state of being found between the 3 words in the title of the "reviewed" business. A high. Not mine of course, but that of some acquaintances. I am including a picture but it really doesn't do either place justice. Pass the brownies please. So when will South Carolina become a state to legalize this cash crop. Sweet grass is a cash crop now. Why not just grass itself? You'd have to be here. I can't say enough about this place!!! The owner/barista is the sweetest, kindest woman you will ever meet. She always goes above and beyond to make sure your order is perfect. I've never had a bad cup of coffee. I'd also like to add how much we appreciate her continuous support of our Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) fundraising efforts. This place was terrible, the service wasn't the best and the product was way too expensive and not worth it. I asked for 2 shots over ice with flavor and the lady said "so an americano?" And I disagreed because their americano pricing was absolutely ridiculous. When she handed me the drink she charged me $4 for 2 dirty shots, which according to the menu are $0.50 each, and a flavor which is also listed at $0.50. Absolutely ridiculous. What else was I paying for?? Ice?? My total should have been according to what I asked for $1.50. I am never coming back here. read more

I stopped by this place as it is in the parking lot of a local tire store. It was an great experience as she was super friendly and made a great coffee. It was a bit cheaper than my local coffee stop back home. About a dollar cheaper for the same drink. I will be back for sure. read more

Not impressed with the burnt shots pouring out if the dinosaur machine. My coffee tasted awful. They literally poured out pure black then turned lighter as they went on, and tasted awful. On way to work early one morning, had the rare opportunity to get a coffee drink on the way in (and left mine at home anyway). This place is a little drive-though nearby that for some reason I had never been to. Rolled up, ordered my drink, and shortly I had my drink in hand from the friendly lady. Tried to hand her my card, and her whole demeanor changed. "We only take cash," she said. "Oh, I'm sorry! You should put a sign up!" "I have a sign up!," she said, whereby she pointed to--no shit--a piece of paper no more than 3"X2" written in ballpoint pen!! I said (desperately trying to hide my annoyed countenance),"No problem, I'll run down to the ATM real quick and get you the cash!" Handed her the drink back so she knows I'm for real. She tells me forget it, keep the drink, you're not gonna come back anyway, no one ever does. Issues? This lady had the whole subscription, PLUS the free windbreaker. I am a man of honor, so I followed through anyway. Drove a block away, got her her dough, returned and paid her and NEVER LOOKED BACK!!! I'm sorry she has apparently been wronged before, I get why she doesn't take cards (totally her prerogative), but for crying out loud don't go off on a tangent when I've already handed you the bloody drink back! At least the Pierce Co. health dept. sez they're clean. And so she earned the rare one-star from me. read more

My sister and i decided to stop in for some drinks. We've been there before, and although the drinks were never great, and the owner was never super friendly, we stopped anyway because it was convenient. As we pulled up, she opened her window so the prices were no longer visible to the backseat (where i was seated). No matter, my sister could read it for me. The owner said, "just let me know when you're ready, no worries," in a tone that would indicate we'd been taking a long while to figure out our order, when in fact we had just arrived. We noticed right away that the prices had gone up since our last visit. We get it, happens all the time. But when we saw that my sister's Italian soda would be OVER $5, there was no way we were going to stay and spend that much on an ITALIAN SODA. We thanked the owner, even though we didn't get anything, and as we pulled away, she gave my sister a dirty look and loudly said, "WOW," as she slammed her window shut. My sister saw and heard and reversed to try to talk to the owner. Instead, she kept the window shut, continued to give us dirty looks, and continued texting, just as she had done for the entirety of our visit, and every visit before that. My sister asked her, through her closed window, why she was being so rude, but she just shook her head and continued glaring at us from inside her fortress. Needless to say, no matter how convenient this place might be, i will never go back. I will never recommend this place. If anybody ever tries to recommend this place to me, i will make sure they know what kind of a person this woman has continually shown herself to be. read more

TERRIBLE!! The owner/barista (old blonde) has no sense of customer service. I was on the phone during my order, so I gave her cash at that time. She was so self-conscious as I am in the drive thru waiting for my drink, I hardly paid attention to her while being on the phone (I think this bothered her quite a bit). Today, my co-worker and I stopped by Mountain High Espresso for a much needed iced coffee. I ordered two 16oz. Iced White Chocolate Mochas, one with soy. I always order this wherever I go, it's my drink. The older blonde barista apologized but said she didn't have soy and offered almond milk. I said that would be fine. A minute or two later she handed me a dark drink and said it was the one with almond milk. I took a second look and asked her if it was white chocolate, she said no and seemed embarrassed at her mistake. I handed the drink back and she said she already made both drinks. I THINK she expected me to say it was ok, but I told her that wasn't what I ordered. Suddenly she started to yell that I did order "chocolate mochas". My passenger even spoke up and said that she was incorrect and she heard my order. But this woman continued to yell from a coffee stand at patrons in her drive thru. I could not believe her behavior. I put my money back in a my wallet and said we would be leaving. She slammed the window closed and as we sat in line to pull away she continued to yell through the closed window at us. It is a shame that what appeared to be a nice local business was secretly harboring a raving lunatic. I guess it's back to Starbucks for us. read more
