This is an interesting yet cool combination of businesses. A beautiful jewelry store and a really organized and well run gun store. A gun store that sells new and used firearms. The location, just off 285 in Conifer is an absolutely beautiful business space. The building is modern yet rustic both inside and out. It's immaculately clean and well maintained. The cases in the jewelry and gun part of the store are first rate. I love the way the gun store has things displayed. Very easy to see and well marked. The prices are very reasonable and it's clear they care about the quality of what they sell. I purchased some FN57 ammo at a great price. The staff are professional and quite pleasant. They clearly love to chat about anything guns and politics. This is the kind of place you could stop in for no other reason than to waste time chit chatting. I'm glad I accidentally stumbled on this place. I was coming down from Buena Vista and just happened to see this out of the corner of my eye. I brought in some diamond jewelry that I wanted to sell. I also had previous appraisal sheets that had complete and accurate descriptions of each item. They wanted to charge a $50 "assay fee" to examine the items and make me an offer. Every other place I have been just examined the items and made me an offer. Nobody else tried to charge me for an evaluation. I thought I was familiar with every scam in the book, but that was a new one. I passed. read more

Can't speak for the prices, or the quality of the jewelry, because the second I walked in the lady who runs the place was so incredibly condescending and rude that I turned around and left. I'm not sure if she's horribly rude to everyone, or she was just horribly rude to me because I was wearing jeans and a Carhartt jacket and she assumed (wrongly) that I don't have money to spend.... either way, I'm avoiding this place for good. I had a ring to sell and I visited their shop and was very impressed with their courtesy and customer service. I will disclose that I read some of the reviews prior my visit and went in with an open, but cautious, mind as I do not think you can always believe one side of any story. I did my research before I came in and found that most jewelers will only pay wholesale values and that is exactly what they offered me. Even though I was armed with my own information, Angela was very kind and patient in answering all of my questions as I have never sold a piece of jewelry before. No shadiness, only a completely honest and transparent offer. They paid me very close to what I was expecting for a several thousand piece of jewelry. They were fair and extra kind when they rounded up their offer to an even number and gave me a free jewelry cleaning stick. They also saved me the pain of having to deal with eBay or craigslist buyers which is worth something in exchange for $$$ to me. Some words of advice for anyone looking to sell jewelry: remove the emotional attachment - this is a business transaction; jewelry is like a car when your purchase it - you will never get what you paid for it. Don't shoot the messenger as they are just in business to make a living as well. read more

Stopped in to their shop to ask about the "Pawn & Gun" signs that they have everywhere out front. When I asked the lady in the store she looked at me like I was crazy. Then she acted very pretentious and asked me what I was looking for. The man who works there came down and told me the "pawn and gun" wouldn't be open till fall. Not sure why it's posted all over outside if it's not open and why they treat you like your stupid if you ask about it. read more

I walked in and the first thing I saw was a man behind the counter wearing a shirt that said "TRUMP. F___ your feelings". I don't care what political persuasion anyone is. But the foul language is offensive, especially if a child who can read is with you. I went in to find out about a repair. He looked at the earrings, questioned whether it is even gold (which it is clearly marked 14k) and said he didn't know if he could repair it but it would be $95 to solder regardless of whether it was repairable by him. I took the earring to another jeweler in Evergreen and was told they'd send it out to be lasered, should not be a problem to fix, and it would cost $40. This business is a rip-off. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a jewelers. Condescending, rude, insulting woman working there acts like you're insulting her awesome jewellery making skills by assuming that whatever menial job you have is even worthy of her time. Then came the personal insults, my wrists are to small for man and I'm to fat. But ultimately the highness put my in place by destroying my brand-new-out-of-the-box casio titanium watch band. Mind you, jewelry princess did say that :"I do this all day long "...but apparently that's not enough practice for her. The end result? Hours of my time wasted, no watch for weeks while I ordered replacement parts from Casio, and a trip down town to somebody who actually knows what they are doing. Oh, and watch band -destroying -jewelry -princess also charges double what they do in town (to not destroy your new watch). Please Yelp, can you add '-star' option for reviews? read more

Without pointing it out to you, this shop will not refund your money if you are unsatisfied with the product. In the small print at the bottom of the receipt it tells you this but the store management does not point it out to you until it's too late and they have their money and then they take the product you purchased back to sell on consignment! :( I will never, ever do business with these people and furthermore, their products are so over priced that it's disgraceful.
