I ordered takeout for a big group and I had very low expectations because of the poor reviews but it really wasn't bad at all. I found the pizzas with toppings to be pretty tasty. The food was ready for pickup when they said it would be. The person who took my order over the phone was polite. I would say, its not amazing pizza where I'd come to Jay Peak because of the pizza but if you're at Jay Peak and you're in the mood for pizza, this is totally adequate. read more

Was able to purchase pizza by the slice. I got a regular and a pepperoni. Pizza was edible. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars.

The service was terrible. It took us an hour and a half to get our food and when it came it was all congealed, cold and nasty. We went up to the cashier several times to check in during the wait and asked for them to bring the food individually out when it was ready. They did not and our order was completely botched. When I talked to the manager he had no compassion, did not say sorry and give me only part of my money back - I really would have just liked an acknowledgement about how bad their service was and an apology. After shredding the slopes of Jay Peak for 3 days, going to the water park, lacking sleep and only eating a combination of pasta, instant noodles, canned fish and canned mystery meats for that duration, my friend and I were desperately craving real food. What better food to satisfy our appetites than pizza? Meat Lovers Pizza ($18.50) - came with ham, pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. We ordered it with extra sauce. This was extremely satisfying as it came out blazing hot from the oven and onto our table. (Had to wait a few minutes before taking my first bite so that I didn't burn the top of my mouth). This pie was fully loaded with an abundance of all meats and cheese as my friend and I couldn't even finish the extra meat and cheese that fell off our pizza as we pulled it apart. Had to get a spoon to scoop the toppings that fell off and into our mouths. Pitcher of Pepsi ($5) - Definitely needed a pitcher of Pepsi to wash down all that sodium. *NOTE TO BUSINESS OWNER OF MOUNTAIN DICK'S PIZZA* 1) We noticed soft drinks could be purchased by the pitcher and when we asked if we could buy draught beer by the pitcher, we were turned down. Beer by the pitcher should be added to the menu. 2) We wanted to order pizza from you one night but you don't deliver outside of Jay Peak Hotel. I was staying at the Golf Cottages which is literally a 2 minute drive from the restaurant. Also, you should try to open later than 10 pm on the weekends as there is no other pizza place nearby. Located in the Jay Hotel area (with the waterpark), Mountain Dicks' Pizza is a bit hidden away inside the hotel (just follow the signs). It's fairly cozy inside with a few tables. Prices seemed reasonable when I visited the resort -- the cashier even told us that getting a small half and half (half cheese, half pepperoni) was more cost-effective than buying 3 slices for our group of three. So we did just that and the pizza tasted fine -- typical cheese and pepperoni pizza, albeit a bit saltier than expected. We swung by after 6pm on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but we got our pizza within 10 minutes of ordering. read more

We read the reviews and we decided to go anyway. First, the place was clean and well up to COVID standards. We ordered Poutine and Pizza. The service was extremely fast, may 10-15 minutes, the Poutine was enough for 4 to share as an appetizer. The pizza was standard Pizza fare and hot and delicious with abundant toppings. Pizza is carnival quality at best. Tasted worst than a frozen pizza. We felt gross after eating it. This is nothing compared to the atmosphere created by the wait staff. At 8:30 the staff started putting the chairs up on top of the tables in order to vacuum, and started vacuuming even though there were people still eating all around and the closing time was not until 9 pm. Other small things were noticed as well. The salt and pepper shakers had not been filled in weeks, condiment bottles dirty, everything looked dirty. This placed looked to be run by kids who do not care about the place. If I am staying at an expensive resort I would expect better quality of their onsite establishments. read more

The Meat Lover's pizza was so banging. I live in PA and we def take our pizza seriously down here. However, honestly, I'd consider making the 7 hour trip up to Jay again just for this pizza... It's fine. It's not NY-quality pizza, but you're not in NY and you're at a resort. And it's not gross, it tastes okay. The kids ate it, and for a midday lunch, it did its job admirably. Also they have a decent small selection of beer on tap. I recommend the Round Barn Red, if they have it. read more

We ordered 2 large pizzas over the phone - one all dressed and one veggie lovers - and went to the restaurant to pick them up. The pizza was ready when we got there, and since we were staying on the resort we had a coupon for 50% off of the second pizza (always a bonus!). The staff was very friendly, we checked on the pizzas since we were taking them to go, and they both looked and smelled absolutely amazing. After getting back to our room we dove right into eating the pizza excited to taste the amazing smell, and neither disappointed. The sauce and crust were both amazing; sauce had just the right amount of spice, and the crust was thin but not too thin, flaky and held the large abundance of toppings without falling apart. One little downside that they could approve on - we had originally called to get the pizza delivered to our room, however they do not deliver to stateside hotel. It wasn't a huge draw back as there is a shuttle that took us right down to pick it up, but maybe a change the restaurant would consider making in the future. read more

Pizza crust was a bit papery, just a sign of pre made dough. There was an order of soup that was good. And they had Fiddlehead IPA. Ordered for takeout two pizzas and some wings....got there to find pizzas were ready wings were not....10 minutes later we got our wings and went back to our condo....pizzas and wings were ice cold...called to ask if any consideration could be made for the delay and cold food we received. First We were hung up on, then on the second call told to bring everything back so they could reheat. OK for all those complaining about this place, have you very thought about how many people one pizza restaurant is feeding? They are trying to feed a small village of people that all wan their pizza now. We order the meat lover pizza and they told it would be really in 30 min and it was. The pizza came out cook prefect and was still hot when i got it back to the condo. Even reheated 3 hours late is was still good.
