I went in for an annual skin screening. During the checkup a small wart was found on the bottom of my foot. Per the advice of the doctor, I had it removed using liquid nitrogen. I was shocked to find I was charged $300 for this procedure. Do not agree to any procedure until you are given the exact cost!! read more

Check prices before you go. They charge a consult fee of over $300 even if you have been there before, and also $300+ for any small (one was 1mm) spot to freeze. Not very friendly. It took 30 min and they charged $895. Travel to Denver next time! read more

I have seen Dr Urquart for years and she is professional, smart and very kind. She caught precancerous spot on my shoulder and followed up personally to find out how I was doing and to explain everything to me. I recommend her practice. read more

Rcvd very poor care post mohs surgery. Bleeding never stopped on my nose and Lauren Bonati let me sit like that for a week. The graph died and my nose had a large infected hole from the botched surgery. She took zero accountability. Go somewhere else for proper care. read more

I went to this office to have pre-cancerous lesions frozen based upon the suggestion of my previous dermatologist. I asked for a quote before we got started and the dermatologist said, "$10 per lesion..." I had 9 so $90 which sounded fair to me. I had them all frozen (terrible outcome, I'm scarred for life) and paid $90. About one month later, I received a bill for $176. I called the billing department and they told me it was for the office visit to remove skin tags. I told them that there must be some mistake, I already paid my bill. I told my aesthetician and she said, "it's possibly a double billing..let's check." No explanation, they sent the billing again. They also DEMAND a credit card when you check-in, so that if you ever miss your appointment, they'll bill you the full charge regardless of the circumstances. Warm and fuzzy...eh?! My advice, RUN! Do not even bother with these folks. read more

I went in for an annual wellness visit and received a bill for $656. This was my first time at Mountain Dermatology and sadly I would not recommend it to anyone else. I waited 45 minutes for my scheduled appointment and no one acknowledged me. During the skin check the doctor even said I don't think this is an issue but I guess we could go ahead and send it in. Of course I'm going to say yes, I've never had a skin check before not only did they not code my appt as a wellness visit they charged me an additional $500 to check the spot she said did show signs of a problem then sent it to another lab who I received a bill from as well. I wish I could say they cared about my wellness but I think it was a bit of a scam. read more

I went in because my fiancé wanted me to get a check up. My co-pay was $25 and at the time that's all they said I had to pay. I said that's great let's do it. In the 15 minutes that I was there she looked at two spots that were not very concerning to me. But she wanted to get them checked. I thought what the heck I have great insurance. And all I have to pay is $25. After the 15 minute visit I was sent home none the wiser. Then I started receiving the dermatology bills. No one explained That the two moles she had examined was going to cost me over $1000. I began paying the bills 400 for this 400 for that 180 something else. After almost paying $1040 I started to get upset. I was only in there for 15 minutes? Then the final finisher they still slap me with a bill for $40 after paying everything for the doctor in the room. This place is a joke and will take your money for nothing.
