Have some compassion Heather! We deserve it! When I was getting my port flushed, I had asked the nurse accessing my port a question. Heather came over and in a Sturn Parent voice. FIRST OFF, DO NOT GO TO ST. ANTHONY'S SUMMIT MEDICAL CENTER!!!!!! I would rather sit in pain for 3…read morehours down the mountain to Denver than go here ever again. You pay a ridiculous amount of money for them to do essentially nothing!!!!! I went to St. Anthony's Summit Medical Center in Frisco, Colorado on June 4th, 2022 due to a foreign object lodged in my eye. I tried my very best at home to get it out but it wasn't working so we made the decision to head to the ER in Frisco, Colorado. That was the start of a VERY BIG mistake. We arrived very late, around 1:30 or 2 in the morning, and had to wait for awhile. I wasn't worried about it thats fairly normal for an ER! Once I was admitted, I was greeted by a very stressed ER doctor. She had said that she was the only doctor there and had told me she would be right with me. 30 minutes later she is back and essentially asks the questions needed to know that I have something in my eye. She then proceeds to use a q tip to try and get the foreign object out of my eye with no luck. So then, surprisingly she asks my boyfriend to take the object out of my eye which he manages to do. So, we went to the ER to have my boyfriend take it out of my eye, what a waste of time! Again, no ones fault though that he managed to get it out after we drove and visited there. I was prepared to pay my bill for the eye drops she gave me and my visit there. Wellll........., get ready to sell your left kidney if you want to get any type of medical care here. I received a bill in the mail for a total of $3,837.09 for the 30 minutes I spent waiting after being admitted and for my boyfriend to take it out of my eye. I essentially paid $3,837.09 for eye drops. They charged me at a Level III ER charge, after doing some research is what is known as a "moderate severity & moderately complex case". Also did research on averages for level III charges and not ONE I LOOKED AT WAS ABOVE $2,500. They charged me $3,097.33 to have my BOYFRIEND end up taking it out of my eye. And on top of it charged me another $457.54 for a specific "Removal eye slit" procedure. One she didn't even do. So I disputed multiple times just for the $457.54 charge because they did NOT perform the procedure and received the same BS every time. I even had proof with a picture of the foreign object on my boyfriend's finger in the ER room which I sent over multiple times. Eventually a cute handwritten letter came addressed to me stating that because I stepped foot into an ER they had the right to charge me for a procedure that the licensed professional did NOT DO. I will attach some of the wordage in the letter below. Overall, lesson is do not go to the hospital here, you will not receive the care that the prices reflect. All I am saying is, if you are going to charge me an absurd amount at least do the job your charging me for. What a waste of time and money. Good riddance.

We have several doctor/nurse friends who told us not to go to the suggested oncologist and instead referred another oncologist (who has been great by the way). My mom got a little bit of attitude from Cohen's office after she told them we were choosing our own oncologist and the office didn't seem supportive of our own decision to choose who we believed to be a better oncologist. Fast-forward to July....my Dad has been undergoing strong chemotherapy treatments for lymphoma and has since received a bone marrow transplant and is now in remission, but still on a long road to recovery. Despite being friendly and close with our family for YEARS, guess who has yet to check in on my dad? Cohen has not called/emailed/sent a letter to ask how the appointments went, how he's feeling, NOTHING. No one from the office has bothered to check in in 8 months. Which is pretty messed up if you ask me. Cohen has received 5280's top internal medicine recognition a couple times and has some other "awards" too, so that's pretty cool I guess, but I would expect a one line email from an office assistant to at least see if my dad is still alive.

The last time I was there was with my 19 year old daughter. She made my daughter cry and offended me so deeply that I was furious and vowed never to go back.

I have been a patient of Fraser Medical Clinic for the past 3 years. Please note that the reason I…read moregave a score of 2 rather than 1 is due to the staff. The staff and nurses were always friendly and professional. Originally, I was a patient of Dr. Barry. I changed to Dr. Lampey after my physical done by Dr. Barry was ridiculous. He did no physical examination. Rather, only asked me a few questions and was done. My first visit with Dr. Lampey was a physical done this past January. I explained to her that I previously had prostate cancer and was given cyber knife radiation treatment and that for the next two years I needed quarterly PSA blood tests to make sure my cancer was not progressing. The second quarterly PSA check I was not given an order because Dr. Lampey said it was not routine. I had to explain again that this was normal procedure for Cyber Knife Radiation Cancer patients and then was given the order. Once again, 3 months later the same thing happened again. She refused the order saying it was not normal routine. I again explained why I needed 3 month check ups and with much complaint was given the order for the lab. Upon my 4th quarter check, again, my test was refused for her same reasons. I was then told that Dr. Lampey would no longer authorize PSA lab orders for me that were less than 6 months. (If you are wondering why I did not go through my Cancer doctor, they no longer were covered by my current health insurance.) A couple of weeks after my last PSA request, I received a Certified Letter in the mail from Doctor Lampey. She formally was cancelling me as her patient due to my requests for her to "order unnecessary tests". Due to the numerous conflicts over my PSA tests, my wife and I had already decided to change physicians. However, I did contact Anova Cancer Care who performed my Cyber Knife Radiation and asked them If 6 month tests was routine for my cancer. They said that proper procedure was every 3 months for 2-5 years depending on PSA levels. I sent Lampey letters and procedure paperwork from Anova Cancer Care that proves that Dr. Lampey was wrong in my case. You would think that the doctor would have reached out to me personally to discuss this issue rather than just work through her staff and deny my requests and then ultimately cancel our patient doctor relationship! Ask yourself, "Is this a doctor you would want?" Look elsewhere!
