When I finally got to the range to try this ammo out I got the first squib I've ever had in my life. It was also in the first box of this stuff I opened. For those who don't know a squib load is when the powder charge in a round is too weak. This can cause the bullet to get stuck in your barrel and if you fire another round it can blow up your gun. Don't rapid fire with this ammo, it's extremely dangerous. read more

Defective ammo with no refund. 5.56 not sized correctly and have to mortar Rifle to eject cartridges.

I just ordered ammunition from this company and wish I hadn't. Their customer web site is broken, called them and was told " oh yeah, we know there are some glitches', so fix it already. Placed my order on the 4th of December and my account page says I don't have any orders, an Email they sent me, one that has an order number, says it is not even processing yet. I called them a couple of days ago and got slow rolled, they are basically telling me that I won't get my order until February, if I'm lucky. I wish I would have read these reviews before I decided to deal with these guys, I would have run like Mexican water through a tourist. Anyway, too late now, they took my money right up front and their policy is, no refunds. Most companies don't take your money until your order ships. There are too many companies who offer fast shipping, and great customer service to put up with this kind of stuff. I already purchsed from another company, and my order was delivered yesterday, seven days from time of order and a great price. read more

Worst company ever. It took months to recieve my order I go to LAX no. Never had issues with lax yet Even after reading the reviews I still tried it. Trust me you will regret it read more

Never again.. Claimed my order would be shipping in 7-10 days I'm now past day 30 and they haven't even started processing my order. Horrible communication. Terrible customer service. Will never do business with them again. read more

I have ordered quite a bit of target ammo from this outfit in the past. They usually say ships in 2-4 weeks, which is never the case, and it's always quite a bit longer than that, but I have just gone with the flow on their lengthy shipping times. The last order I placed was in October, for 1000 rounds of 124gr 9mm ammo, and was for a Christmas gift. Well, 12 weeks later, no ammo, website says "order placed" but nothing beyond that. I sent an email and got they typical automated response with song and dance info. I've since sent two more emails, and the only response is automated saying not to send more than one email because it will cause you to lose your place in line. I have tried calling them on the phone, and again you get a recording which says you can leave a message, but no tone to let you know when to start your recording. They also, keep sending out emails with their specials and sale stuff even though they apparently cannot fulfill orders. I will NEVER do business with this outfit ever again. I will let my credit card company handle it, and will report this joint to the BBB. Buyer BEWARE! read more

They took $680 from me on Nov 19th. Today is March 2nd. No ammo and no refund even though they told me the refund was on the way two months ago. Colorado State Attorney's General involved. Dispute ongoing with credit card company. Worst online experience ever. read more

Do not bother, after several months waiting for my order, I canceled it, that was about two months ago and I'm still waiting for a refund, just filed a complaint with the BBB, I got screwed and no one bought me dinner. read more

I ordered from them on September 13. It is now October 22 and they have not shipped the product yet. Hey, Mountain City, I AM NOT YOUR BANK! If you do not ship the product or refund my money in the next three days, I will be filing a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act and you will have to defend a lawsuit in the State of Maryland. Do they right thing and refund my money. You never said the product was out of stock, and you only stated that it would take several weeks to ship, after the order was placed. read more

I ordered about $3,000 in ammunition from them. I ordered 9mm on my first order. I took about 3 months to get due to the fact they had so many orders. My 2nd order I ordered .40 S&W from them, I knew it would probably be a few months before I got it. And I did get it. My 3rd order I ordered took 4 months... I called a few times. I found out the owners son died from COVID-19. They asked me if I wanted to cancel the order. I told them no. I am a health care worker and I understand the loss of a family member who works at the family business. I waited because I found their ammunition was constantly good quality. I did receive all of my orders. The problem is they were selling more than they could keep up with. COVID-19 took its toll on their workers. I look for them to reopen after they get their warehouse fully stocked again. read more

They take your money and they never deliver. Had to contact the fraud department with my credit card company.

I think this company has gone out of business. I lost $225.00 by placing an order that the likely never intended to fill. It's almost a year now. If I lived in the state, I would take them to court. Goodbye $225.00. read more

I ordered 124 grain 9mm ammo in December 2022. It has been almost 8 weeks and my order status is still pending even though they sent my credit card through. They have almost no customer service. I will give them 2 more days to ship my order and if it still not shipped I will cancel the order and dispute the charges with my credit card company. This has not been a good experience and I will not order from Mountain City Supply again. read more
