Well finally had a chance to go to the range and the first box of this stuff I opened had a squib load in it. For those who don't know, a squib is when a round has a weak charge and doesn't go off like it should. It was a lot quieter and there wasn't any recoil. The danger is when the bullet remains in the barrel and the next shot you fire blows up your gun. First time I have ever experienced it but I immediately knew something wasn't right and made sure the barrel was clear. So no rapid fire from this stuff. read more

Ammo is dangerously unreliable. I had about 25% of the first 18 rounds (loaded 6 rounds each into 3 magazines) fail. It was a constant series of fail to fire, fail to eject or failed to feed. I stopped when the gun wouldn't return to battery and I found a bullet stuck in the barrel. If the bullet had gone down the bore another 1/8", the next round would have chambered and I'd have fired it into an obstruction. After I removed the bullet, I reassembled the pistol without cleaning it or lubricating it and fired 61 rounds of factory Fiocchi ammo through it using the same 3 magazines. 0 malfunctions. This proves to me the MCS ammo I received is bad, dangerous stuff. read more

When I made my order, the website said shipping in 7 to 21 business days. They have a 5 day business week. So I knew the longest it would take (21 business days) was about a month. As others have indicated I should have read the reviews here first. Ordered 2.5 months ago with a 3-4 week ship time. I just emailed them and told them to cancel and also disputed it on my CC. Too many of these companies are doing these "flash Sales" hoping to get your order and then hope you forget about it when it takes them 3 months to fulfill the order since they over sell the sale. Problem is, now they have all these bad reviews and I certainly won't be doing ANY more business with them. They may change their name but since I know where they operate out of, would be easy to track that if they did change names. This same thing happened with another firm and their 'flash sale'. It took 4 months to get it. Tha'ts why I just disputed it with my CC. Let them deal with it and get my money back asap. I worked as an engineer in a plant environment. You know exactly how many orders you have and how long it will take to fill them. If you know you can't fill it at the very least call the customer or email and let them know. A very high percentage of duds. The picture shows 20 9mm duds in only one box most of the boxes had between 6 and 10. These rounds were used in a Sig P365. I replaced the firing pin because I thought it had to be the gun's fault the first time I was at the range with it. Next time at the range, I also used my P320 and had the same results. I also bought a large quantity of 380mm when it was had to find ammo same results. Imagine trying to practice having at least 1 dud every three or four rounds. To top it off, their "terms and conditions" say they will not allow you to cancel an order. So let's see.. Misrepresent your capability to fulfill orders, and then tell people "you'll get it when you get it". I purchased some ammo from Mountain City Supply on 10/1/22. Here it is 12/13/22 and the ammo of 115 grain came 8 days ago but the 124-grain ammo still has not shipped. Today, I called again and was told not until 12-19 to 12-26 before my order is shipped.
