To be fair, I live on the second floor of a condo (with elevator access), and the installation was more complex due to the flooring, so I don't question the time or effort involved. To avoid any budget surprises, I would recommend confirming upfront how many technicians will be assigned to the job. Overall, I would work with Jason again and would recommend him to others. UPDATE- I had a small leak with one of the toilets and Jason came out right away to adjust it. He definitely stands behind his work! However; one of the reasons I selected this business (and paid more than other bids) is because of the 2-year warranty that they offered, which turned out to be useless. When the 2-year mark arrived, it was like pulling teeth to get Adam to honor his warranty. He would ghost me for long stretches. After several months of nagging, I did eventually get him to come out, but he had one crew member who spent about 1.5 hours working on the bubbled areas (and there were lots!). Adam assured me his crew would sand/scrape the bubbled areas, but they didn't do that. The guy just slapped paint over the spots. Obviously, that isn't going to hold. Now, I am faced with fixing the mess myself. All of that nagging for 1.5 hours of work by one guy! They also wouldn't fix the front door which had not fared well over the 2 years and the wood was splitting. If you care at all about the warranty, I would skip this contractor. And I certainly will NOT be a repeat customer.

If you are planning on doing an addition, do yourself a favor and hire Erik Foster and his crew…read more  My wife and I are the type to tackle our own projects, but when we decided to add 800 square feet to our existing 1,300 square foot home we knew we needed professionals.  After many unfortunate events with another subcontractor, Erik Foster crossed our project's path and was a breath of fresh air. To meet someone in the trade that knew what they were doing, took pride in their work, and communicated up front any issues or decisions that had to be made was what we were looking for.  Erik and his crew took over our stalled addition; they fixed the existing floor framing, laid the sub-floor, raised the walls and trusses, sided the addition, sheeted the roof, and dry walled the interior.  They also installed all the new windows, hung the exterior doors, and installed the faux batten boards for the entire house exterior with meticulous detail. Erik took over a broken project and made it right for my family and that in itself says it all.  His crew hustled on the job site even when nobody was looking and showed up to work on time with a smile on their faces and looked you in the eye when communicating.  With an addition there is always surprises and Erik was upfront with what to expect and more importantly dealt with the unexpected professionally.  There was a lot of our project that my wife and I ended up doing ourselves, some planned and some not, but Erik was a great resource in pointing us in the right direction when we had questions.  Erik and his crew are a refreshing reminder of how people are supposed to be; hard working, take pride in their work, do what they say, and respect their customers as people just like them.
