I have a 2017 JKU Sahara. I drive it daily and wanted to do a mild lift on it. I went to several Offroad shops to speak with them, and get estimates on my build. Mount Zion was the last shop I visited​. I had heard fantastic things about them and wanted to see their shop. It is to say at the least impressive. I knew as soon as I saw the shop these guys are a cut above every other shop I'd consider. They were going to do my lift. I met with Roy and as we sat at his desk he built me a custom 2.5 to 3 inch lift that covered all the bases and took into consideration that my Jeep was also my daily driver. He got me scheduled and ordered my parts and shortly there after it was in the shop. Roy built me a fantastic lift and I couldn't be happier with the work. It's settled in it drives fantastic. What impressed me most was the attention to detail Roy took. The suspension geometry is dead on. This is something the other shops hadn't even considered. I highly recommend if you're considering a build there's no need to go anywhere else. The gentleman who answered the phone stated the next available would be the end of October, that they usually book 4 weeks out. I thanked him and told him that was good to know for the next time. He hung up on me with no further comment. I realize they are probably busy but still, a little courtesy would have been appreciated. Installed Rough Country 3.5 inch lift on my 2020 Tacoma. Mike and Roy are very helpful on all the questions I had. They are very understanding when I had to delay the installation. Keep me updated / texted me the pictures of the progress throughout the installation. Got the recommendation from my brother, he had them installed his lift kit also. I had to select a star to post...for some reason, they don't offer negative stars? I have to assume that everyone who wrote a positive review was paid handsomely and/or lobotomized. They can certainly afford to pay handsomely, with all the money they have made from heinously ripping people off. Someone recommended them to us when we were looking to get our Wrangler back out out of storage and once again completely road-ready. We called them, and told them that the jeep had been stored in a covered garage, and that-unfortunately-the garage we had been renting had roof damage; and that therefore, the interior may be weather-damaged. They assured us that it was no problem; and gave us their "offroad is our game, we KNOW jeeps, dirt doesn't bother us" schtick... We had the carpets and seats steam-cleaned by auto professionals, and arranged for towing from the garage to Mt. Zion... The day after it arrived, we contacted Mt Zion to confirm all was well, and they said they would check it out that weekend... The following Monday afternoon, they contacted us to say "the interior is bug infested...and so we can't work on it" We apologized and told them that the guys who had cleaned the upholstery told us that there were absolutely no pest infestations...if they had said otherwise, we would have taken care of it first. We then told them that we were more than happy to send out professional pest experts...they refused that offer, and refused to explain why they wouldn't work on it even after pest experts came out... Even after we explicitly said that we would pay the day rate for it to remain there in the interim, they refused to do the work and refused to explain why... So we told them that we would find another place, and would pay the day rate for while it remained there... Three days later? They called at 11:43 to ask about arranging towing out of there... We called back at 12:57 after arranging another place... They told us that they already had the Jeep impounded. We told them that we would pay for as long as it stayed there...and they slammed us with a towing and an impound fee... I am sincerely glad that they donate to amazing charities...at least a few dollars of our money that these princesses jacked will go to people who DESERVE it... If these con artists believe even a WORD of their "mission statement" they will give ALL we paid (for them to do absolutely NOTHING) -to the charities they (hopefully actually do) support... I train horses and coach riders professionally... I have GLADLY donated hundreds of hours to retrain rescues for therapeutic riding programs...I plan to happily donate hundreds and hundreds more... PLEASE send our money to Walnut Grove, Mt. Zion...not only did you do nothing, you charged an exorbitant amount to do nothing...... I know you pretty princesses can't handle getting your perfect nails dirty; so please don't make your HEARTS dirty...don't be heretics. We worked very hard for what you took so easily... I will call it money well spent, if you even just give Walnut Grove therapeutic 40% of it... Rob the "rich" to feed the needy...I am GOOD with that! ...Just please don't keep our money as a reward for your convincing lying game. Ok? read more

Consumers beware this is not a repair facility but seems more like a parts hanging/ bolt on business. I had FJ80 landcruiser differentials gears set up last october and after a year a noise/vibration had developed in what seemed to be the rear differential. First call made back to them about a possible issue with the rear diff they had a defensive attitude and stated that it was all my parts and that I did the install. drove the vehicle a on a few camping trips and the noise got progressively worse. Place another call and was able to set a time for them to diagnose the noise. Noise was diagnosed as a failed pinion bearing due to a wrong drive shaft. I agreed to a differential rebuild and driveshaft shortening. Picked the vehicle up a week later and was then told that it was not the driveshaft but a grease hydro lock in the slip joint not letting the driveshaft move. drove the car 14 miles and the noise was absolutely still present. Being a 17y BMW mastertech I decided to check it out more thoroughly myself and determined the noise to be in the transfercase. placed another call to talk about possible ways to move forward to repair the issue and was not really offered much further assistance. I was already upset with the $$ wasted that did not fix the issue so Instead I agreed to a small fraction of a refund that they offered. so $1400 later I am still at the same place I was before ever bringing the vehicle to them. I work for a dealership and this is not normal procedure for a "repair" that did not repair the issue, normally the repair shop would assume some responsibility in this instance and fix the situation however this was not the case. I will never do anymore business here as the idea of customer service/ retention is non existent but rather more effort is put into product pushing and promos. read more

OVER PRICED and NOT done right. Save your $$$ and go somewhere else. It's not worth the hassle. I had work done about a month ago which I thought was good at the time. I had a hybrid rhino liner sprayed in and a tonneau cover put on. when I went to another business in Hanover PA to get runners put on they were quite curious as to who did the work. after I told them, they pointed out all the things that were wrong. First, they drilled holes in the bed floor for drain holes. My truck came with 2 ports on the front of the bed and 2 ports on the side of the bed that they could have used instead of making new holes. Second, the tonneau cover was not put on correctly. They did not put the shims behind the rail to keep it flush. This caused the side bed caps to roll up and not be flush. Third, the rails were high at the back, low in the middle, and high in the front of the bed. This caused the tonneau cover to be "wavy" and not flush with the bed leaving gaps on all 4 sides of the cover. It also left half inch gaps on the front and rear corners between the tonneau cover and the bed. The rails weren't at an angle for water to run off the front. It just sat in the middle, ran towards the sides and into the bed. Fourth, The front of the tonneau cover was sitting on top of the bed of the truck and not flush where the rubber seal is against the bed to keep water out. Fifth, there is 6 side clamps to clamp the rails to the bed of the truck. There are 2 notches on the clamps that you can tighten down in. You would think to use the same bottom notch on all 6 clamps and not randomly slapped on and which notch it clamped to is where you bolted it. Doing this bent my rails. Last but definitely not least, I paid $100.00 more than what I was suppose to for the tonneau cover. After doing some checking and phone calls, I paid too much for my rhino liner as well. After such crap work, I think they owe me $$$. This is after I got $100.00 off of the total to write a good review on google. Which I will be going back and changing my review there as well. read more

Several family & friends of mine have dealt with these guys throughout the years & I've only ever heard good things.

First the good--Mike a great salesman and contact was fantastic to deal with--friendly, accurate, courteous and thoroughly knew his stuff. Secondly, the prices were the BEST around--we purchased a B&W gooseneck hitch, fender extensions, hood bug guard and window side shades and a spray in bed liner. The price for parts and labor was EXCELLENT. Now picture on the hottest day of the year, all this installations including the added lights hookup for the gooseneck trailer wiring, ALL GOT INSTALLED THE SAME DAY! And it was HOT outside--over 100-degrees from 11:00 til close--6:00p.m. This shop really went the extra mile to get all our work done in a single day and again, it was so hot that day with high humidity and just a nasty day for these guys. Now, why didn't I give them 5-stars? On picking up my brand new 2016 Ford F-350 4x4 dual rear wheel $55,000.00 truck with 175 miles on it, I found several cut marks from what was obviously a utility knife--most likely the Rhino Lining guys in a hurry cut the bug guard on the hood and on the left rear dual wheel cover. Brand new truck and paint and brand new bug guard had cut marks on them either from pulling the masking off the truck or removing the bug guard from the box. Either way, I found the cuts and was not too happy about a brand new truck being treated this way. In fairness to Mount Zion Off Road, EVERY business except one, that has dealt in automotive repairs has damaged my property since moving to the East Coast--Pennsylvania. There seems to be a repetitive disrespect for other's property--even where we board our horses, locals seem to think they can visit them and feed them "treats" as if we are providing a petting zoo for their boredom. Only one business has EVER treated us and our property with respect--Beasley Ford. And that's why and who we purchased our truck from and who referred us to Mount Zion Off Road. Again I want to stress that these "kids" worked all day in a very hot and humid and miserable conditions day and for that, and that alone, I did NOT pursue damages repairs at the business' expense. I believe in taking the moral high road, less traveled but more in line with well, the teachings of Jesus coining Mount Zion as a coincidence. So I am "eating" the losses as I have done so to the tune of $18,000.00 since moving to Mount Wolf, PA two years ago--endless fake repairs for non-damaged parts, dents, dings, and improperly diagnosed repairs which is theft, lying and cheating people out of their money. In this case, the kids at Mount Zion Off Road, denied knowledge of the damages which is why I call them "kids" since children also, don't admit when they screw up and get caught. For me it isn't the money but the lack of adulthood and childish attitudes of local businesses in the York, PA area that has left me with a bad taste and a realization that people in this part of America, just don't get much right, lack adulthood moral imperatives and walk a path of money motivations that cannot buy integrity--it's a failed parenting and self respect lesson. And it isn't going to change any time now or in the future--one can only hope what some in Pennsylvania drink from is less selfish and immature. read more
