Amazing day on board the Mount Washington cruise ship! We thoroughly enjoyed live music, drinks, snacks, and seeing the gorgeous island views on lake Winnipesaukee! We took our daughter to celebrate her 45th birthday (along with our three young granddaughters and our son-in-law). A fantastic family day for sure! What a beautiful, relaxing cruise on Lake Winnepesaukee. There is a great view no matter where you sit. Plenty of seats with tables, and seating in the shade. We took the 2 1/2 hour narrated scenic tour from Weirs Beach to Wolfeboro and back. I suggest taking the 10:00 launch time, then get off at Wolfeboro have lunch, do so site seeing, and take the next boat back. On the boat there is a full bar and depending on what cruise you take the on board restaurant serves lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch. read more

We enjoyed the well organized boarding process. Our window seat provided cooling breezes on a hot day. Sitting at table 2 next to the stage provided air from the deck to further cool us down. The buffet food was tasty and had a good assortment of foods, including dessert. Walking around on the decks provided beautiful views, and the sunset was gorgeous. Our private bus tour booked us for a one-hour lunch cruise. The cruise was nice but largely unremarkable. It would be interesting for folks that haven't spent much time on the water. After a week of buffet food at every stop all week--and reading others' reviews, I had pretty low expectations but I will give credit where credit is due; the buffet was actually not bad! My only real complaints follow and all pertain to the unmet needs of elderly and physically challenged folks. On board, guests have to be able to use stairs to access the open balcony, so they will miss that particular experience and view. The check-in and preboarding process is brutal. Lots of hurry up-and-wait on uneven boardwalk and slanted gang planks that can be uncomfortable underfoot and even dangerous for anyone with balance issues, limited stamina, back problems, canes, etc. The handful of benches near the venue fill quickly. The handicap restroom on the boardwalk is kept locked, and there is no signage to inform the unwitting visitor that they'll need to get a key from the ticket desk. Dock helper "Shep" completely dismissed the gentle suggestion that they put a simple sign on the door and made it clear he was not interested in public feedback. read more

Sunset dinner cruise., Sunday night. No real directions to take part in the buffet upon entering the ship. No one cleared our plates; we removed them to the trash area. The beef was dried out and whatever liquid was on didn't help. Some sort of BBQ, it was tagged. Lemon Haddock was the alternative. Not much of a variety. Watermelon and over sugared chocolate chip cookies. Kind of pricey for the selection. The band was okay until the end of the night, then they just played load and fast. The Heineken school of dance kicked in and the floor was filled. Did not know people could jump for 20 minutes. Would not do this again. Have been on other such cruises in different states, food was better, staff was more on the ball. read more

Hello, We attended the August 16, 2025 sunset dinner cruise. We enjoyed the cruise and the buffet food was outstanding. The only negative feedback I have is the following. We were located on deck one, during the cruise. The live band that was playing on the deck, very very loud in our group's opinion, along with many other people that were on board. I myself along with at least two other people asked the band members if they could possibly turn down the height of the volume just a little bit as it was so loud you couldn't even talk to a person in the room that was sitting next to you. The person told me rudely that we just need to move to another level on the ship or move back to the rear of the ship, that they were not going to lower the level. Very unprofessional and rude in my opinion. I do not understand why this music, along with many others need to play the music so so loud! Most likely we will not cruise on the ship again with a live band. thanks read more

Our "previous" cruises experiences have been great! Our recent saturday cruise was very disappointing- The meal was just mediocre- not great- The deserts were equal to a grocery store party plates. ( dried out) We paid the extra for window seats and the windows were dirty and there were spiders hanging all over the outside windows. The entertainment was pretty good and the length of cruise was great. Chances are we will not go back . I have been in the lakes region for over 50 years and have been on the Mount many times. The cruise itself is always great but the interrogation from the ticket taker while we were trying to board was outrageous. I purchased almost $2,000 in tickets for our group. We presented every single ticket but the gentleman taking tickets insisted that we needed to produce a single ticket that I purchased individually when we added one more person. The problem was, that person had already boarded, using that ticket. Given the line behind us, he ultimately relented but it was embarrassing and totally unnecessary. Very unprofessional!! read more

Food on dinner cruise was awful, like not eatable. Stick with beer or premade drinks, as cocktails are poorly made and the drink lines were really long. Airflow in eating area was non existent, even on a cool night we sweating, until we gave up on the food and just went out to deck. We took the 10am Sunday brunch cruise from Weirs Beach. It was a nice way to see the lake. There was a pretty good musician playing guitar and singing. But the food is mediocre at best, and the servers had varying levels of civility. We were told the food would remain for the entire cruise. We opted to exit the boat at Wolfboro, where they pick up another load of people. This gave us 2.5 hours to shop, wine taste at Front Four Cellars (which was great!) etc. We were looking forward to a snack when we got back on board. But as soon as we set sail the crew started clearing the buffet - still laden with food - and cleaning! Like sweeping and mopping, resetting tables. If we had stayed on board we'd have had access to the buffet for the entire cruise, and wouldn't have had to watch the crew clean. Just think this would've been good information to have before exiting and to know for future trips. I might not exit at Wolfboro knowing you get less from your experience (and ticket price.) read more

Washington ship. there was a wide variety of food to choose from,also coffee, tea, and OJ. on the top floor there was even a live band playing music while you could be sipping a cocktail. The views were impressive whether on front or back of the ship. The only negative thing I could say was lack of instructions when first boarding the ship.
