Great day on Lake Ossipee with a Boat Bud pontoon. Owner was super friendly, if a little paperwork challenged, boat was immaculate and perfect for a party of 7 (could have handled one or two more of us). Regarding the paperwork, we had a few anxious moments when we couldn't get some questions answered, but everything was under control and in the end, so smooth getting on the water. I would highly recommend Bud Boat over the larger boat yards who were a little uppity when dealing with our questions. read more

Enjoy your private charter boat with Captain or rent a pontoon Boat on Ossipee lake in New Hampshire. Our new charter boat has space for 14 guests and is available for half or full day excursions. Tubing is available. The rental boat is available for area lakes as well as Ossipee. It is a 21' pontoon boat able to accommodate 11 people. It is equipped with a 25hp engine. You do not need a safe boaters certificate to rent it.

History

Established in 2000.

Boat Bud LLC was created to offer Ossipee Lake for everyone. The lake has very limited access to the public. We offer private half day and full day charters as well as boat rentals. The lake offers views of the extinct volcano and the President mountain range. The lake also has private beaches as well as a very popular sandbar. The captain also has local knowledge of the history of the lake including the notorious murder that happened there. Bachelorette parties, family events, company team building and tubing are always enjoyable.

Meet the Business Owner: Miles C.

Captain Miles has maintained his USCG license since 1999. Having moved back from Florida in 2019 to the White Mountains of New Hampshire I discovered Ossipee lake. I earned my New Hampshire Commercial boating license in the spring of 2000 and started Boat Bud LLC. I chose this lake because of everything it has to offer and every season I find out more.

We so appreciate the special care that Miles, the owner and captain of Boat Bud, took with our large family party. He truly made our outing on Lake Ossipee a memorable experience. We can not say enough about how friendly and accommodating he was with all ages on board. He was also extremely entertaining and knowledgeable about the history of the lake. The pontoon was very clean and well-maintained, too. We will definitely return for another full day of cruising the lake! read more

Captain Miles was great! He was very personable and knowledgeable of the history of the lake! We went tubing and he was great with the kids. There was 8 of us, and we all felt very comfortable and safe. He brought us to a GORGEOUS beach to relax by the water. I didn't know how 4 hours would be and it was perfect! We did a 9:30am ride and it was gorgeous! The boat was very clean and comfortable for all! I would go back to him in a heartbeat and recommend him to all! read more
