I recently ordered takeout from the Mt Si Golf Course's restaurant, from where i've gotten food before, and once again I was left with some disappointment. Before, I tried their Biscuits & Gravy which tasted of straight butter that overwhelmed my mouth so much that I could not take a second bite. Secondly, I got the Mushroom Omelette special which was okay, but could've used a little something to balance it more, and Thirdly, I got the Ham & Cheese Omelette Breakfast Platter that came with 2 pancakes, "hash-browns", and eggs. The pancakes tasted like soapy play dough which was really disappointing because pancakes are kinda hard to mess up. The omelette was good but boring, the potatoes needed seasoning but were edible, and the eggs didn't even have salt or pepper. In my opinion, not worth $19 (around $22 after tax, not including tip). The girl who answered the phone seemed to be bothered that I called and the older short gal at the register seemed to be dismissive and grumpy towards us and her coworkers. The restaurant looked like it could use some updating on the decor, maybe some fresh paint, new tables and chairs, those kinds of things. Not the worst experience i've had at a restaurant but definitely one that's worth taking note for future decisions. read more

We ate lunch here after playing a round of 18. Food was decent. I would say its a standard bar and grill menu. We ran into some coworkers here that come here specifically for their breakfast/brunch menu. We'll have to try that next time. Fish Tacos (4): They were good. Nothing really bad and nothing that really stood out. Just a good solid fish taco. Got the sweet potato fries with it which were crispy and sweet. A favorite local spot intermixed with golfers from around the region. The food portions are generous and consistently good. My husband's favorite is breakfast before 2pm and I am sold on the steak salad or spinach omelet. Even on the busiest days the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. Usually I come for breakfast. They have thick slices of bacon plenty of good strong coffee with nice assortment of creamer. Jams and jelly options kept on the table. Service is a bit slow so hold on to that coffee but don't be temped to eat the jam, your correctly cooked breakfast will be served hot and how you like it and plenty of it. Was really excited to try here wanted a drink and some appetizers on a nice day. Decorated like a dennys and it was pretty empty. It wasn't very inviting. She sat us with a dirty shirt on and wasn't very friendly. She said they had a small bar and offered no drinks options. The waitress was acting like she was too busy to wait on us. On a beautiful Sunday with a course full of golfers, the deck of the restaurant was closed. One of the most enjoyable aspects of playing golf at Mt. Si is being able to enjoy a cold beverage on the restaurant deck afterwards. Seemed to have plenty of staffing to handle the inside and outside of the restaurant, but for some reason the owner chose to cut off service to one of its most desirable sections. Wouldn't even let us sit there if we served ourselves! Plenty of other corses in the area that allow you to enjoy their patios and decks, so will be favoring them now. read more

What a gem of a restaurant! Many of my neighbors recommended this spot for the breakfast in town, and it might be one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in the Seattle area. When I arrived around 8am on a Saturday morning, the parking lot was packed. That being said, the restaurant shares the golf course parking lot. When I entered, the restaurant only had a few tables taken. You seat yourself, and as soon as I was seated, a server brought me a menu and water. My husband and I ordered eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, a side of bacon, and a pancake (one was enough to share between the two of us). The food came out quickly and was delicious! We love this restaurant! The staff is always genuinely kind even when they are incredibly busy. The food portions are significantly larger than I'd expect and I always have left overs. And the atmosphere is perfect for a cozy and chill brunch. We most often get the omelettes - my husband gets rhe Mt Si (which is huge!!) and I get the veggie garden. We recommend the biscuit as well. Both of these are extremely filling! Once we got the French toast platter and thought it wasn't as impressive as the omelettes! I'd definitely recommend and continue to return :) read more

Outstanding menu selection. I tried the Mt Si Burger. It was one of the best tasting burgers I've had in a very very long time. It completely had the steakhouse flavor (eg Ruth Chris)! That is a repeat. The bacon on it is honest real thick and peppery bacon two large slices! Service was average. Maybe on the slow side. Plenty of seating inside and out. Decor is very plain but if that keeps the costs down, fine by me. No need to bring anything to eat there. They have great breakfast and lunch/dinner menu. read more

Went here for brunch with my family and wished we went elsewhere. We got egg Benedict and honestly the worst one we ever had, the sauce is nothing like hollandaise sauce, it had a blend and weird taste to it. Potatoes hash was bland with no seasoning even adding salt and pepper did not help. One star for French fries the only thing that was decent with perfect crisp to it. I usually don't leave bad reviews but honestly got tired of this type of restaurants serving horrible food to customers. How is this even acceptable?? The staff was nice and the view of Mt Si very pretty. I really want to rave about the food, but I can't. The chicken quesadilla was hard to understand. The HUGE chunks of chicken, tomatoes, onions and black olives WITHOUT CHEESE, didn't have any chance to stay in between the tortillas. Impossible to eat. The fish and chips, hard to understand serving this. The fish was over breaded and lacking the fish inside. The chips were very good. Lastly, the grilled chicken sandwich was just okay. The onion rings were breaded like the fish. Not good at all. I don't recommend ordering any of these dishes. Horrible. Sorry not sorry. A $17 burger should not come well done unless asked to be Cooked that way. I know I know, I still ate it. The meat had good flavor and the toppings, Swiss cheese, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato were fresh. But really? Super well done burger. Maybe the grease was what tasted good. The menu stated it was Kobe beef, so, perhaps it was. Because despite being well done it had good flavor. And we had just hiked Rattlesnake Peak, so I was hungry. The fries were just ok. My friends sweet potato fries served waffle style were burnt. Like wow. One bite and it was clear, burnt. My friends burgers had some pink to them but yikes. The Bloody Mary had yummy condiments on it but had a weird aftertaste. We came here for the view of the mountains outside. Won't be coming here again. Our server was also very gruff and sort of scary. Like it was a bother to serve us. The whole experience was strange. I don't recommend this place. read more

We really like coming here on nice days and eating outdoors. We like the club sandwich, tacos, mushroom and Swiss burger, the fries(!!! So good), iced tea, turkey melt, and Reuben. Ventured out into the cold & rainy weather for breakfast. We were heading to a different spot in Fall City before I remembered that I'd been wanting to try breakfast here so off we went. I had a hankering for Eggs Benedict which was marked as a customer favorite so that was an easy decision. My boys got chicken fried steak, no eggs with extra hash browns instead like they always do. My Benedict was amazing! It's probably the best hollandaise sauce I've ever had at a restaurant, eggs were cooked perfectly & the potatoes were so good!!! I'm not a fan of the shredded hash browns usually served with breakfast so I was pleasantly surprised to get these crunchy & perfectly browned potatoes. I had a taste of the country gravy on my boys chicken fried steak & that was equally as delicious. My boys said the only better country gravy they've had is mine. Meh! This was a decidedly mixed experience and for the slightly above average cost I expect better. The good: eggs were done perfectly, waffle was just right, sirup great, muffin as well, breakfast potatoes had the right amount of crisp and were very flavorful. The bad: bacon was way overdone (there is a difference between crispy and charred to death), service was lackluster and inefficient. The ugly: the coffee was B A D. As in stale and bitter where five creamers and a pack of sugar couldn't save it. There is better in North Bend. read more

Had a very good Reuben here with sweet potato waffle fries. The waffle fries were OK. Size of a quarter to fifty cent piece plus rather thin. Didn't really taste much like sweet potato fries. The Reuben was very good! In fact it was much too big to finish so I took half of it home. Heated up well in oven for dinner! Disappointed that the deck wasn't open when we arrived about 1 PM or later. Immunocomprimised so my friend and I really wanted to sit out on the deck. Only two top table was by a group of 20 to 30 women golfers. Had to remove my mask as I felt my friend wouldn't hear me speak with so many convos across from us. Service was very attentive! Waitress came over a few times to ask my friend if she needed a top off, etc. She also brought me a to go box before I asked for one! Kudos! Would definitely return cos of the food and service! This is the 3rd time I have been here... and unfortunately I am boring! I keep having the Campbell Scramble and it is delicious! My friend had the Western Omelette... and she said it was really good! My iced tea and my friend's Pepsi glasses kept getting refilled by the delightful server Joy! One of these days I will go back and have something besides my poetic dish "Campbell Scramble".... Met our good friend at this restaurant, our first visit. What a great setting as well as great food and great service. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with the breakfast choices. This place is interesting. It scratches the itch when you want diner type breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are good. Bacon was very overdone and thick, much like jerky. Unfortunately the facility itself is pretty run down. There were plenty of cobwebs in plain sight....including a dead dragonfly caught in a web. It doesn't have a very clean dining room feel which makes me nervous to know what the behind the scenes looks like. Overall, when craving comfort food and a hearty breakfast, it works. The food was fine - typical casual golf course fare. The patio looked like a nice place to eat, but we had to sit inside - which was fine. What makes me not give this restaurant five stars is that the service was dreadful. My dad asked for bacon which never came. I asked for more hot water for my tea - that never came either. His wife showed up a little after our food came and the server never came over to check on us or take her order so she didn't eat.
