They honored their web price. I got a fair price for my trade, which they eventually bumped up by $500. The big sticking point was the height of the Colorado and would it fit in my garage. It was late when I got there and they were about to close after the test ride. This was basically a done deal so long as it would fit in my garage. Finally the Sales Manager agreed for me to take it home. It fit and I returned the next morning to sign the paper work. The only thing negative I can say is that they wanted me to sign and pay before taking it home. When they realized I was about to walk, they said take it home and come back.

Sal was very sweet and soon after I paid for the vehicle and we left together to the notary to transfer the title. Only at this point did I ask myself why is there this little "button" on the dash and I curiously pressed the "button" and what do you know it was a sticker blocking the check engine light. I literally asked Sal if the vehicle had any codes when it came in and if he scanned for cleared codes and he assured me there were no codes and both he and his mechanic looked it over and scanned it. I immediately drove to Advanced Auto a few minutes away and they scanned it and there were some pretty severe codes P219b, P0480,P0456. What a nasty and shameless thing to do to put a sticker over the check engine light and try to scam a family with little children. When I was paying him cash he counted out the cash and put aside $100 bill and said I think you paid me $100 extra. I knew I didn't because I triple counted. What a lousy trickster. That wasn't a mistake of an honest man wanting to return the extra money that was a calculated maneuver to demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness. This man is a professional con artist and should have his license removed and he should be investigated for criminal fraud. When I called him in shock and told him what I had discovered he didn't seem the slightest surprised and just told me to come back. When I came back he already had my money out he slapped it on the hood and immediately collected the sales contract and scurried off as fast as he could while muttering he scanned it and his mechanic scanned it and really he's victim because this is so embarrassing for him.
