While most companies offer a warranty with their work (especially after getiing a whole new HVAC system installed), this company does not stand by their work. First time I have ever encountered a "licensed" company that could not answer questions about the duct work and the problem that was happening after they installed the new system. Worst of all, they will tell you they can come back out and look at the issue via the phone (even though it has not been a year since installation) but will only tell you after arriving there will be a service charge. And do NOT expect a return call if you leave voicemails asking for an explanation.

We discovered Air One when our home's AC went out in the middle of summer. We received a few quotes and chose Billy because he was way more knowledgeable than any other company that came out to quote the job. He shared facts, information and recommended the proper sizing based on our home. He is a seasoned professional in all things HVAC related and not a salesman. He checked to make sure our system didn't just need a repair and worked with our electrician to see if the old unit could come back to life. It was grounded and couldn't be saved but I appreciated the effort and try. Billy is about putting the right unit in your home and gives you options in that range. His team went in an attic that was swelteringly hot to say the least to evaluate the situation. Install was a tough order because they were carrying a massive furnace up a flight of stairs and in an attic on newly refinished hardwood floors and painted walls. Air One was INCREDIBLY respectful of our floors and did a beautiful job. Billy made sure to put a towel down when they opened the attic door every time. If you just let him know, he makes sure his team takes great care. He went out of his way to make sure our home was without AC for the shortest amount of time possible when they was a shortage of units. His team took the absolute best care of our family. He showed up for us and cared in a manner that is rare. When we had a cooling issue pop up a few months later and my in laws were visiting he rushed out that night so my mother in law wouldn't have to sleep in a too warm home. My MIL adores Billy and the other tech that was with them. They showed up at like 7 or 9pm on a Friday night to get our system back up to full speed. When we had other remodeling work going on Billy and his team got along and worked well with our other vendors. He helped put in venting for our range hood to send the air outside rather than circulate in the home. He and his team worked with our electrician and contractor to get everything set up smoothly. We passed county inspections of the project in a breeze and the system works perfectly. (It was installed 6+ months ago.) Billy and his team continue to amaze me with their service and knowledge. They are so well versed in what they do it is refreshing. Billy is all about HVAC and helped our neighbors sort out a semi complex issue to get the house to cool evenly. I've had Andersen Heating & Cooling service my furnace and AC unit for the last nine years and have…read morehad only positive experiences. I did break-away to another company for a couple months, per a friend's recommendation, but went back to Andersen. The other company told me I'd have to replace my AC unit and my furnace. That was four years ago. I still have both units today and they are running great. The other company seemed more interested in what they could replace or sell you. You see them advertise everywhere. Andersen also recommended replacing my disposable air filters with stainless steel and mesh filters when we first moved in. They will replace them should they ever have a problem, mine still look new. Note: They aren't cheap, but mine has more than paid for themselves over the last nine years. All you have to do is vacuum the mesh screens, wash with your garden hose and let dry. I do this at the first of the month. I was VERY skeptical but bought one for the downstairs and upstairs. The airflow is much more powerful than your standard filter and less stress on your furnace. I'm also not making a trip to Lowe's and filling up our landfills with old filters. One of my better investments. Another nice thing is that we have had the same Andersen and Heating technician for the last three or four visits.
