Well, when you finally find the store, you will be amazed at the long line of customers waiting to purchase cucumber heaven- I have seen the line with nearly 40 people in it! But don't let that scare you away, either grab a place in line, or come back- but the line seldom gets down to less than 5 people. However, it is worth the wait, not only for these homemade crunchy pickles, Frank, the owner, is a character and enjoys a good conversation. He has several different styles of pickles- my favorites are the regular dill, the garlic dill and- my current addiction- his Sweet Hotties. Wow, these are so good- sliced and crisp and sweet and a surprising heat that tantalizes your tastebuds! He has amazing sauerkraut, and- BEER on draft! The most popular seems to be the old-fashioned Pickle on a Stick, which seems to please both children and adults. He also has samples for you to taste. So, don't let the line spook you- it is worth the wait.

They seem to have more than just spices and tea, which was a nice surprise. We picked up a spice blend that I used with a baguette and homemade tomato soup. I mixed the spice with olive oil, lightly toasted the baguette, added butter, and then drizzled the spiced oil on top--wow, it was amazing. It had a nice kick and so much flavor. I also tried their pineapple green tea. It's slightly sweet, which helps balance out the bitterness of green tea, making it very easy to drink. This tea was for my treat, I enjoy it well. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be going back. It is a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it--especially for trying something new or buying unique gifts for special occasions.

The lemongrass mint was interesting, but very strong on the mint. Overall it was fun to see what they have and try new ones. I still left with only my favorites. I still have plenty of olive oil so I didn't buy any of those, but I did try the spicy Calabrian pesto oil. Oh- they have ice cream samples if you wanna try the balsamic on ice cream!
