What a great experience! We stopped in for lunch after I checked the menu online. They have great decor and everyone was friendly. We ended up being waited on by one of the owners who was so cool and down to Earth. He mentioned they're planning on a second restaurant in Fountain Inn which will be Asian Fusion. I have to say after the food we had at Moultrie we can't wait to try that as well! If you know two things about me, I'm going to get the fried pork rinds and deviled eggs. Every, damn, time. These were Fried Deviled Eggs, right?!?! What in the devilish kind of magic is this? They were so good. Sounds weird but it works! The Fried Pork Skins (or Chicharrones as we call them in California) were tossed in their signature BBQ rub and so addictive. I also got the Chicken Wings (another typical Lanette order ) with the Cajun rub and they were really delicious. Hubby got the Philly Cheesesteak which he said was delicious. I ate here with my family the other day. I've gone to college close to it for the past four years and never heard of it. So when we walked in I asked how long they have been open for and they said a year and a half! This was so surprising to me because the food was delicious. We got Two different types of chicken sandwiches, the caesar one and the nashville hot chicken one. We also order the chicken and dumplings. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich and chicken and dumplings were delicious and I would definitely order again. However, the chicken caesar salad sandwich was not that good. I service was amazing. I will definitely be dining again with my family and I really hope they start to market this restaurant better because it's delicious! read more

Fabulous lunch experience! We enjoyed the lunch specials: choice of 2 sliders (Nashville hot chicken and mushroom and swiss) with fries and a flatbread. Very tasty! I so want to love this place but again I am left disappointed and wanting some consistency in the quality. We tried again for lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was fantastic. Very attentive. I ordered the sirloin with brussels and a salad. Salad was great(can you mess that up?!) and brussels were good too. The steak was so over powered by rosemary that I could taste nothing else. The steak was tender, a good cut but I couldn't eat it barely. I even tried scraping the butter off-not sure if it was cooked with rosemary or it was in the butter. Unfortunately it didn't help. My spouse ordered the Philly cheesesteak and dressed brussels. He said it was fine. Nothing special. Did have lots of meat which is a bonus but not much else like mushrooms and cheese for a full Philly flavor. We ordered desserts to go-bananas foster cheesecake and churro cheesecake. The bananas foster cheesecake itself was good but as for consistency again-it did not have anything to make it bananas foster. No caramelized bananas, no sauce, no "rum" flavor.if it's listed and it makes the dish, add it. Happy they seem to be doing well. Just want consistency. read more

Had an excellent lunch with our grand kids last Sunday. The Cornbread appetizer was scarfed up quickly, and delicious. The sweet tea was perfect, not too sweet. The Shrimp and Polenta was enjoyed by our daughter, hamburger steak with gravy over mashed potatoes a rare treat. And the Chicken and Dumplings were fantastic. No room for dessert.
