If you haven't tried this adorable little place yet , btw they do allow dogs on the patio as they have dog water bowls there as well if dogs are behaved and kept on the ground as they should be and not on the chairs or tables ( I have seen this before ). Rude female manager. Limited menu. Why do they refuse to open the doors for fresh air like EVERY other breakfast restaurant in Dana Point (like Bonjour, Shwack, Stacks Pancake House, RJ's cafe, Lupe's Mexican Eatery, Beach Hut, The Harbor Grill, etc. Moulin is small and often crowded inside and after watching a food prep employee coughing last time in, I asked today to please open the doors and mentioned the other restaurants in town that do. Her response was "only in America do people complain so much." I will NEVER eat there again!!!!! I just read this owner's "liar" response.... Are you really going with the denial strategy? Should I have my 3 children that were with me write their review? Very unprofessional for a new owner/ business in town. French cafe and market right next to Salt Creek. Came here on on a Saturday around 1pm and there was a short line, but it moved fairly quickly and we were able to grab an outdoor table for two. You order first and then they provide you with a number placard for your table. Parking is available in the small lot. Credit cards are accepted. Casual dress code (I wore a swimsuit top and shorts with no complaints). Outdoor dining only. The croissant breakfast sandwich I ordered came with a side of green salad. I love this brand. Its been one of my favorites for as long as they have been open. The staff is always so nice to me and my family. They almost feel like family! The coffee, the food, the atmosphere is all so pleasant. I don't know the managers name, but i've seen her at other Moulins around town. All I can say is WOW! She knows how to manage. It cant be easy during these stressful times and she delivers. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would. Cant wait to see where they pop up next! read more
