A friend and I rented motorcycles from MotoQuest from the Long Beach location for a 5 day ride in Arizona. We couldn't have been happier with the bikes, and the service from all of the staff was phenomenal! I HIGHLY recommend MotoQuest for your bike rental needs and will definitely use them again in the future.

I joined the Motoquest crew for a 9 day tour to the American South West, starting in Las Vegas and covering Monument Valley, Moab, Bryce Canyon and Zion. From the start, Dax and Dan were the ultimate hosts and guides. Nothing was too much for them and they helped on gear, bikes, and settling into the tour. Both were highly knowledgeable about the places we visited and gave us all great explanations and briefings on the days' activities. The riding was at a good pace, with plenty of stops for views, food and rest. I highly recommend MotoQuest for anyone interested in motorcycle tours with a professional and informative staff.

Read This Before You Rent from MotoQuest I recently rented a BMW 1250GS from MotoQuest's Anchorage location. Because I planned to take the bike up the Dalton Highway, I was charged an additional $600 surcharge. I understood the risks and was okay with that charge, knowing that rough roads could potentially cause damage. To be cautious, I also purchased the Level 1 and Level 2 damage waivers, along with supplemental liability insurance, which added another $267 to my rental. I was told that the Level 2 waiver would cover an additional $2,000 in damage. At pickup, an associate walked me through the bike and had me sign a stack of paperwork. Here's where I made a mistake--I was eager to get on the road and didn't comb through the fine print. The associate showed me a couple of rims that had been dinged on past rentals, but never mentioned that replacing a rim could cost $2,500. If I had known that, I would never have taken the bike up the Dalton Highway. When I returned the bike, I even went out of my way to pressure wash it before drop-off, just to help the staff with the inspection. That's when I was told the rear rim was damaged. I was completely unaware--there was no noticeable impact during the ride, no drop in air pressure, and the bike rode just fine the entire way. I assumed the $2,000 insurance would cover it. But once I got home, I was hit with an invoice for nearly $2,500, including a $125 "admin fee." After some research, I found that the same rim can be purchased online for under $2,000. When I pushed back, I was told the $2,000 insurance is just a cap, meaning it limits my liability to $2,000, which means anything above $2000 I wouldn't have to pay. This was never clearly explained to me--not before the trip, not at return, not until two days later in an email after I was already home. This lack of transparency is deeply frustrating. MotoQuest hands you a bike, rushes through the paperwork, and then blindsides you with a massive invoice after the fact. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before renting from MotoQuest. This felt like a bait-and-switch, and I wouldn't trust them again.

What an amazing trip by Motoquest. Highly recommend the cherry blossom 3 island Japan tour. The trip tour guide Phil was very detailed everyday as to what we should expect. Chia and Eric made sure we had everything we needed and then some for a success trip. They truly went out of their way to do extra stuff like book a Thai massage and lead us on private bicycle tour. The motorcycle roads they picked out were perfect and beautiful. We whole heartily recommend them. This is our 4th Motoquest tour and will not be the last.

great bikes, super well organized, and very fun trip for 6 of us out of Portland - and around Washington coast. My only caution is to be a little more selective than I was when trying every oyster seller along the way. The consequences can be very inconvenient.

Took the Kenai Penisula tour with my wife for our 25th anniversary. Been riding for many years, but never done a tour, let alone a tour on the other side of the country in Alaska. Phil and his staff were excellent. Communication was great prior to the trip. All my questions were answered within a day right up to departure. Once in Anchorage the attentiveness continued. The initial dinner was excellent. We then moved to pick up the bikes. Since I was 2up we chose the 2017 HD Electragilde. Bike was mechanically just fine. Set up as I requested. Our tour guide was Tom Anderson, he was great. Very attentive to us and whatever we needed. Knowledgeable about the area and the little local places. Reservations were flawless. The anniversary gift was a nice touch, I completely did not expect. Kudos! I won't get into the itinerary as you can find those on Motoquest.com. But if you are looking for a different vacation, and you ride, this is it!

Loaded and ready for my adventure to begin.

Dax in Portland was friendly, wanted to know how I felt about the bike and let me look around the shop at their inventory because I was nosy.

Wow! What an amazing experience. My wife and I booked the transfer tour from Anchorage to Whittier…read more Our tour guide, Michelle, was incredible. She was a wealth of knowledge and such a fun person to spend the day with. Everywhere we went, she seemed to know everything. She interspersed personal anecdotes allowing us to get to know her better and to understand more about the area. Everything was included in the price of the tour. Lunch (of your choice - not just preset options), a beer at the brewery, and admission to the nature center were all taken care of. There were also snacks and water available in the van. We got lucky with a small group (4 people including us!), but the van only holds 13 people - much better than the giant coach busses! I cannot recommend Salmon Berry, and Michelle in particular, highly enough

Also went to the wildlife conservation center and saw the moose, bears, musk oxen, elk, etc. the tour included lunch at our choice of two food trucks. I got the pork belly rice bowl at the Girdwood izakaya. A bit heavy on the salt, but overall an enjoyable meal. Love the blueberry kombucha at the brewery! V, our guide, was informative and helped take pictures of my family! They pick up and drop off at your hotel. Not too sure about the water bottles though. After you are done drinking the tap water, you have to return the bottles for them to recycle. Although they use a dishwasher, it seems a bit strange for me to share bottles with other people.

I booked the day before, the morning of the owner texted me to confirm that I would be picked up at my Airbnb, Billy texted me notifying me when he was on his way. He was kind, responsive, full of information, considerate, and willing to tailor the speed and details to the needs of the group. He truly made this trip enjoyable. Van ride to the glacier is about 100 miles, we stopped at a gas station about half way. We stopped twice for two photo opportunities, and then made our way to the glacier gift shop to sign waivers. Then drove down to the launch point of the trek. There are ample bathrooms down there. Billy did not accompany us on the glacier but that was okay, our guide at the glacier was super sweet and knowledgeable. I felt more than safe! You walk across a floating bridge to get your microspikes and then we spent about 2-2.5 hours trekking the glacier. You do spend most of the hike on the rocky surface, but we did a pretty steep climb on the blue ice to get to the top of our area, we drank glacier water (amazing) and then saw the base of the glacier which was stunning. Post trek we returned to the tent and met up with Billy, he had snacks waiting for us and then drove us up to the lodge for lunch. After lunch we made the drive back, and again Billy was willing to accommodate different drop off points.

Hotel pickup was super helpful since we didn't rent a vehicle. Lori made a bathroom/coffee stop 45 minutes into the drive. We stopped at a local coffee shop which was so thoughtful instead of stopping at your typical gas station. Afterwards we arrived at our destination for the dog sled tour. We went during the winter and it gets very cold when you are moving on the sled! We are from Arizona so we didn't have snow boots or other items on hand. Luckily snow shoes, heavy gloves, beanies, etc were provided for us to change into so that we stayed nice and warm on the sled. We were paired up and got the chance to sit down and ride in the front of the sled which was perfect for taking videos and pictures. And the other person had the chance to stand up at the back of the sled. We warmed up with a delicious lunch at a nearby lodge and made our way back to Anchorage. Overall, we had such a great day thanks to Lori and the dog mushers. It was truly a one of a kind experience! Highly recommend 907 Tours.

The trip was the perfect medicine to unplug me from an over-scheduled, over-programmed, and highly electronic career for a solid week. It pushed me mentally and physically, but never did I feel unsafe. I returned to work in a better frame of mind and with my whole body in a state of "a good kind of sore". Hats off to Don, and our guides (Sandra and Roz) who really made the stay wonderful. And, I never expected to be complimenting the camp food, but it was AWESOME!!! Sandra's breakfast burrito could be on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! I am already thinking about coming up with a new itinerary for 2016 and going back to the Exposure Alaska crew for another week of killer Alaska wild.

We decided to book the Matanuska Getaway, which is only a 3 day trip because we figured we would want to go explore other parts of Alaska on our own. We had such a blast with Exposure, we wish we had booked a longer stay with them. The owner Don, was so helpful throughout the entire booking process, and recommended places to see and stay during our time after Exposure. The views of the glacier, the wild life, the planned tours and our amazing guides, all surpassed our expectations. They were awesome! Our guides were professional, knowledgable, friendly and we felt like close friends by the end of the trip. They were able to adjust our experience based on our skill and physical ability levels, which added more excitement to our trip. Our safety was paramount at all times and we had full confidence in their abilities to guide our adventure. Moreover, the food at the camp was great! We were expecting beans and weenies and other cliche camping food, but what we got was some great Alaskan cooking: Fresh Salmon, BBQ chicken, homemade breads and granola, among other things. In addition, while there was a lot of stuff to cover on our daily agenda, there was also a lot of time to relax and unwind. It was the only vacation where I didn't think about work, unless someone asked me about my job. Normally, when we go somewhere we still have home somewhere on the mind, but not here. Finally, this experience didn't seem touristy. After we finished our trip with Exposure, we spent a few days in other parts of Alaska, and the tours we did just weren't the same.
