I love the infrared sauna, especially because you can book it in advance, which makes planning workouts so much easier. Parking in the lot can be a little tricky since it's small, but there's plenty of free street parking right outside, so it's never a dealbreaker. A late-in-life athlete, the coaches are amazing at helping with scaling and answering all of my questions about the different movements and modifying appropriately so I still reach the goal of the workouts I've also used their add on services, including the Olympic weight lifting course and their 1:1 goal coaching. It's a huge value add to my health and workout routines . Lastly, I want to shout out how thoughtful and helpful the coaches have been during my postpartum journey. I wasn't able to workout during my pregnancy and paused my account. Lily and Paul were super encouraging and worked with me when I decided I was ready to come back to the gym, both for moving my body and also for my mental health. I was really nervous about returning, but have felt so supported and welcomed since coming back. I went to many, MANY places, and they were either too basic or so fast and shouting through a mic that people were going to get hurt. That is NOT the experience you'll get at Pilates Eagle Rock. Jen is a true master, she's had the studio for over 20 years and really knows her stuff. I think I know what I'm doing, then she gives that tiny tweak and I realize I know nothing!! Penny and Sofia are also favorites of mine and SUPER GOOD too. They're former dancers, as am I, so really know how dancers move - and sometimes over extend - to keep me in check. There is no parking lot, but they have small classes and it's super easy to park, so don't let that deter you.
