It's Valentine's Day, so after more than 700 classes at Rev, I thought it was time to profess my love publicly. This is such a great place to get your sweat on! Not only are the classes consistently challenging, but the entire community is super welcoming, no matter where you are on your fitness journey. Maeve at the front desk is awesome--she's always ready to help however she can. All of the instructors bring great energy and inspiration. Alison's class is just a whole vibe--her silly sense of humor gets you through the tough parts, and her music is top-notch. Jess has such a genuine, positive glow that's totally infectious--she's always dropping some welcome bit of wisdom just when I need it most, not to mention that she makes the hard work feel joyous. Dollar layers on the HIIT action good and thick, communicating clearly about what's ahead so you know how to pace yourself, and his encouragement has me sprinting like I've never sprinted before. I just started taking strength classes with Jazz, and she definitely knows how to make you find your edge, motivating you through compound movements that put your body to the test--I leave her class knowing I've done something good for myself. No matter how many spin classes are under your belt, they're never easy. But at Rev, it's always a good time. This cycling studio is definitely the best fitness community you will find. The instructors will push you to do your best, be consistent, and know how to actually indoor cycle to be stronger using resistance an other teaching methods like HIIT style training (not like other studios where you jus go super fast with no resistance). They are so good at welcoming ALL different levels (new people literally start every day) and creating a warm welcoming feeling but also pushing you hard. They have some strength classes as well, and hopefully will bring more because the timing's will just depend on your schedule. love this place so much. Always such a good time the perfect workout. Each instructor is different but wonderful. Chase brought me here, and has good challenging classes. Plays lots of good throwback music. Dollar is also challenging and fun. Plays lots of R&B. Karina also plays R&B. Really gets the class into a groove. Jess wants to make sure everyone is having fun and take care of. Nostalgic and very motivating. Kristina plays fun nostalgic music and loves to get silly, lots of fun! Katie takes things at a gentler pace but still a good workout. Great Pilates class too. Alison goes hard! Really epic classes. Paniz does it like no other! Really incredible vibes. She teaches at the other location in San Marino. Nairi always sets such a great tone and so fun! She's a great instructor, and knows how to bring people together. I've been going to REV since 2023 and I've reached 100 classes. I prefer their Eagle Rock location just because I like how close it is to Found coffee and I can grab a few groceries from Trader Joe's. The spot has street parking and you can walk close by if you're on a residential street. I feel they give reasonable prices as well as seasonal promotions. The bikes are comfortable and adjustable. They have the clip in and cage option if you're getting started to indoor cycling. I enjoy taking Alison's class, she's high energy and her playlists are so eclectic! You will enjoy the pace and be challenged. This studio has a fun vibe and super friendly. Alison will theme her classes during themed months. If you like a combination of A Tribe Called Quest, Missy Elliot, 80s rock, and more 90s hip hip, oh and throw in some electronic dance music it'll be the class for you!!!!! read more

I had credits to use on FitOn & this was one of the closest places to me for cycling so I said sure why not, let's give it a try! Well, I'm so glad I did because I walked out of the studio feeling GREAT. From the second I walked in, the receptionist welcomed me with a big smile on her face, walking me through everything I needed to know. Then, I met the instructor Chase who helped me with the adjustment on the bike, putting the pedal clip ons for regular shoes (a huge plus that I didn't need cycling shoes!), and just emphasized I can go at my own pace/take breaks as much as I need without making me feel intimidated - he was awesome. "Throwback Thursday" was for sure a feel good day, I loved all the music we rode/jammed to while breaking a sweat. It was no wonder it was a packed 9 am class. RevCycle is my absolute favorite spin studio and has been a staple of mine since 2017. The studio and bikes are top notch, instructors and staff are warm and welcoming, there's TRX/Pilates/strength classes in addition to spin and they're constantly doing fun things like competitions, theme rides, charity events, social events, etc. Truly the best!! I went at what I thought would be a prime time class, but there were only six people in the class. The instructor had good energy, but her music fell flat- boring somewhat slow songs, no choreography on the bike, no standing push-ups or presses. It was just basically fiddling with your resistance the whole time ...I guess I now know why the class is empty.. I love taking classes with Paniz and Nairi who make spin challenging for those of us with a little more experience and accessible even for beginners. Rev is always pushing me to do my personal best, whatever that is for my body on that particular day. The music that the instructors pick is excellent and no two classes are ever the same. I love going to Rev cycle. Even though its a longer drive than fitness places in my past, I find that I am consistent because its enjoyable and a good workout. Ive invited lots of friends and family to join me, I love that it is so friendly and inviting for all fitness levels. They have cycling in one room but there is also a second studio, called the Annex, right next door. in that studio they have TRX, pilates, and HIIT/strength classes. before covid there was also yoga. There is also a second cycling studio in San Marino, not far from the Eagle Rock location. A membership lets you take classes in both locations. The instructors are all great and each one has their own personality. I been to a lot of studios and used to have classpass and Ive noticed that cycling instructors will quit teaching at other studios to teach here, and once theyre in, they tend to stay for a long time. That speaks to the greatness and experience of the teachers, but also to the environment and great management. I usually take Jess and Lara's classes at least once a week. Some days I get very tired and tell myself I'll go to class but take it easy. My plan never works- Once I get to class I get secondhand energy and end up challenging myself. I think the investment is well worth it for your mood, your health, and well-being. read more

I came to a Thursday night class for my first spin class in a long time and Dolla was the instructor for a mountainous journey! I didn't have spin shoes and was set up with the foot straps by the instructor. The lighting wasn't too dark. The music was perfect for the beats to pedal the medal to! Rev Cycle now has other types of classes!! LOVE IT!!! This is one of my favorite places to exercise. In the pilates and barre classes, I REALLY appreciate how the instructors make sure you are in correct form. In these classes, sometimes you use light weights, sliders, or balls. They even incorporate some TRX exercises. I ALWAYS get a great workout at this place. The music is also pretty good. Not to many bad mixes. Perks: free towels to use, exercise mats were free to use, LOVE their filtered water, free mints, free hair ties, cubbies to place your stuff in, free classes when they have a new instructor or when introducing new classes. If you like, you can buy a water bottle if you prefer. They also have some exercise clothes. A little to expensive for my taste though, but they do look really cute. Another thing I like about this place... they give you wipes to wipe your equipment after each use. Not every place does that, they REALLY should!! Downside? Finding parking can be a real hassle if you arrive five minutes before class time. Plenty of free street parking, but the walk can be exhausting especially afterwards. read more

I'm in town for the week and cross training while dealing with fractured toe injury. My legs are hella sore from the classes I took. This place is amazing. Within the first week the staff new my name and would automatically set up or Hand me the butt pad without me asking. Eagle rock location is totally convenient for me, living 3mins away. Lol I have only tried a few difference classes, but my fav is cycling itself. After 30min of legs they do arms great little combo, the instructors get engage with the whole class (asking them how long to sprint/isolate for) and some also say motivating quotes throughout the 40min work out. 100% recommend read more

Positive energy emanates from the owner down to her team. A few weeks ago, we were in a pinch due to another studio cancelling our charity ride fundraiser for Special Olympics Southern California. We contacted Rev Studio 5 days before the event and the owner immediately agreed to host. There was over 35 riders registered and all had a great time!
