On the fence about working/Applying with this Agency? I read the yelp reviews, they are great! However, all of the Leadership at WB looks to me to be about 20 years old or less? I have interviewed in the past with very young Recruiters, have a bad feeling about them...giggly, unprofessional, silly, un-professional, and have no idea about what it is like to be a consummate professional in the USA, anymore. The most recent Recruiter I spoke with in Ashburn, VA. was a constant giggler! Sooooooo... Annoying. She was NOT working at Woodbridge, per se. but that is the type of Recruiter that I have been running into, all throughout the Virginia area. I am hoping for a much better experience with Woodbridge? Ben from Workbridge Associates found me a job in the DC area. Finding a job is not magic and it takes time and effort. My resume had been on file with them for a couple years. I lived in North Carolina but always wanted to take a job in the DC area. I interviewed with Workbridge to tell them the job that I was looking for. I meet them a couple of times when I was in DC for some training. They did line up a few interviews with me over the years but those did not work out. They finally found the right fit for me. I am still happily working at the company that Workbridge associates had put me in. You do have to work with the recruiters to tell them what is the right fit or not. They just have job openings. It is sometimes difficult to tell what is a good fit. Sitting down with them and explaining what is needed helps the finding the job process quite a bit. read more

I spent a most of my career in one job, until one day I decided it was time for a change. I spent a lot of time tuning my resume and going on various job interviews that became time consuming. It was good practice overall, but very stressful. I was then referred to Alex and Josh at Workbridge where they assisted me in my job hunt. One of the recruiters at this company found my resume on Monster and contacted me about a job opening they were trying to fill. It sounded like a job I would like, so I decided to continue the process with them. Over the course of 2-3 weeks, I had a few phone interviews with the employer, an in-person interview, and an offer letter. The recruiter even took me out to lunch before my interview, which was nice. After everything was complete, they were able to negotiate a great salary for me, so I took the offer and started the new job. I guess my only complaint would be that they were trying to pressure me into accepting the offer before waiting to hear back from my other interviews. However, the high salary they negotiated for me sort of makes up for that. read more

I came across Workbridge by accident and was completely surprised. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and most importantly, talented. Within days of having an in-person meeting with Workbridge I had three phone interviews, which turned into three in-person interviews, which ended up with a job offer! This all happened within about 10 days. If I ever find myself out of work again, I will definitely be contacting them. I would bet there were more potentials out there, but after the three phone interviews, I told the staff that was enough for me. After my experience with workbridge, I had a question: why would anybody ever use craigslist again for finding jobs? These guys got me hired in 3 weeks from start to finish. Most of that time was just waiting for hiring approval from the comapny's CEO and HR dept that ended up hiring me. I called Krista on a Friday and had a great interview that Monday. That Wednesday I had a second interview and basically had the job. Workbridge preps you for success and gets you as many or as few interviews as you want, with companies that match your preferences. I have to thank Workbridge for all the effort they put in every step of the way on my job search. Their team works tirelessly to shop you around as a potential candidate for job openings around the area. Their job, is to find you a job. And when you need a job, applying to jobs should be your full time job, right? Well then, it's almost like these guys are doing that for you! In fact, they are!! How awesome is it to have a team behind you that spends their workday helping you find your next gig? They will help find job openings that fit your skill level. Your job is to make sure your resume, portfolio, appearance, and interview are all on point. I'm not saying they will do everything for you, but it almost feels like that sometimes! The staff is absolutely awesome, friendly, and professional. From the start, I decided to give these recruiters a shot because, 'why not?' My situation was terrible at the time. With Workbridge, I had an average of about 2 interviews (phone/in person) a week, I finally was accepted at a place far exceeding where I expected to end up at. My family is incredibly happy, and so am I. A decent amount of employers 'passed' on me after many interviews, there were a couple that were definitely interested, but my skills were not up yet to par. It took nearly 2 months of interviews to land something, but it worked. Even while working with Workbridge, I had some jobs I was applying to on my own. 1 of them actually sent me an offer, I was ecstatic, then I lost the offer the next day (as they found I didn't have the required years of experience). I was down in the dumps. Honestly, after an up and down like that, my morale was so low I barely would have continued my search on my own, that's just how I am. But soon after, I hear some news from Workbridge about another opportunity, and I knew I had to tough it out and do something about my situation. Having this team to support me really is what got me through. It's almost like you have a job coach to make sure you are constantly ready at all times because a phone or in person interview will be just around the corner. I highly recommend Workbridge as they helped place me at a dream job in Georgetown which changed my life. There is no risk working with this team, they look out for their clients first and foremost to make sure you are always 'okay' with the next interview, the job requirements, skill level, location, compensation etc. If you are terrible at negotiating, then ESPECIALLY consider going with them. I would recommend finding someone to help review/update your resume, as this isn't really a service Workbridge offers (though I haven't asked.) They mainly will set up interviews and help with negotiations. They don't take a 'cut' off top of your salary either. After all the pains, struggle, and family hardship I went through this year (which honestly all came down to bringing in solid income), making the decision to be open minded, and enthusiastic about working with the team at Workbridge was the best decision I made all year. Next up is to refer my Mom and a few friends of mine to them so they can help them out as well. Value yourself, never give up, and you will find a place that fits you. This was my first time working with WA and they were able to quickly place me in a role. Unfortunately that role was not a good match. Greg Olson immediately found me new opportunity that turned into a direct hire. Greg was in contact with me even through the weekend I really appreciate his commitment to helping me on the next opportunity. It takes a lot of time to meet a recruiter out of one's busy schedule, so the recruiter better be worth it. All the positive reviews on Yelp made me take a chance with them and these reviews match with my experience with them. I got a lot of phone screening interviews from several employers with in the first week that matched my interests. However, my current employer (not through Workbridge Associates) moved fast and made an offer, so I didn't get a chance for the next steps with them. In my brief interaction with them I was impressed with their professionalism and their resourcefulness to arrange so many interviews. I would definitely recommend them to any job seeker. read more

Second time working with workbridge. It took quite a bit of time but again the market for IT professionals is up and down. Depends on the company a lot too. Had a lot of phone interviews and an in person interview that didn't get anywhere and was being led on for some time. However they did come through with a great opportunity and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely work with them again, I would just prefer someone to cut to the chase when it comes to receiving updates and finding out exactly what is going on. Within a day or so, they started lining up interviews for me....I was so surprised by how quickly I got responses! If you're anything like me, odds are you'll see the 5 star and immediately gloss over it as a potential plant. That is not the case here (as you roll your eyes). They are legit. I've been at IT for well over 7 years now and had just moved to the DC area for another job that turned out to be more stressful than a one-legged balancing act on the edge of a knife while juggling grenades while "you can dance if you want to" plays in a loop at max volume. After working a full weekend in a literal sweat job (no AC, yay), I went ahead and put up my profile on all the usual job sites. A couple days later I ended up taking it down as my soon to be former employer is very aggressive in their own recruitment and found out (rookie mistake on my part). I end up getting a call later from workbridge to come in and meet the people here. I think the initial job wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but they did take the time to really understand what my actual career goals are and the sort of IT worker I am (IT can be incredibly varied for anyone that knows). Perhaps a month down they found something for me to interview for, and it turned out to be exactly what I'm looking for. They really seem to actually care about individuals here and for what seems to be a small shop, are actually quite organized, especially compared to some of the larger recruiters I've talked with that have done silly things like send emails with attention to someone else entirely and never seem to return calls/emails. They are very good about responding to any inquiries. So in other words, this is a legit 5 star. read more

Thats 4 people who gave me personal attention as I ticked off demands for the job I wanted: location, lifestyle, salary, etc... All 4 of them listened patiently and took notes as I ticked off my demands like a spoiled child in a toy store. After I was done they worked diligently to get me interviews. After each interview they called me back to support me in the process. These were not short phone calls.
