I found such steals like a book on how to live with a huge penis (for my future boyfriend :) and a wallet from Pulp Fiction that says "Bad Motherf***er" She is such a good person. Also runs a nonprofit for almost a hundred kitties! I feel good about supporting this gem of a store.

While the stuff in this store is slightly pricey it is very good quality and will last you for a long time. I was in need of sunglasses this trip around and they have funky unique sunglasses. I immediately started getting compliments on them when I put them on. They were super cheap at $12 and actually do have good UV protection. I felt free to browse as long as I wanted. I made multiple trips to the dressing room and could just walk right in. I walked in and he only showed me a $ 250 pair of Maui Jim and then a $ 50 pair of some cheapo to make the other one look good. He uses all the sales lingo "What are your eyes worth to you?". I should have got an Aviator style as it does not look so bad but they cost less than the most expensive ones and so I now look even older than I am (LOL). My suggestion is go in and get 2-3 in the price range and then go home and look at their reviews and make sure you are not overpaying. You will be paying full retail at this store. I also noticed some cool vintage Anna Sui t-shirts, boots and Anthropologie pieces. As you might infer from the brand names I have mentioned, Menagerie is a more high-end consignment shop. For example, the manikin in the window wore a loose brown shirt dress -- basically a potato sack that only a runway model could pull off. And it had been marked down from $300. I'm happy with my cords, though; I'm sure they will become a fall and winter wardrobe staple.
