I've always loved supporting them and donated almost everything our family didn't need anymore, but I can't justify it now. Seeing 12 half-pint jars priced at $13 (they're $9 at Target brand new), almost $30 for a kid's Columbia jacket, and basic household items marked anywhere from $12-$20 is honestly shocking. Thrift stores are supposed to be affordable for lower- and middle-income families, not more expensive than retail. Goodwill has a bad reputation, and AT is heading in that direction. I'm really disappointed, because this used to be my favorite place. But I'm not going to donate items just to have them marked up so high that the families who actually need them can't afford them. From now on, I'll be taking my donations across town to locally owned/non-profit thrift stores that keep prices reasonable and actually serve the community. Habitat and Project Safe are much better options now. I hope America's Thrift listens and makes some changes, because it didn't used to be like this.

While the stuff in this store is slightly pricey it is very good quality and will last you for a long time. I was in need of sunglasses this trip around and they have funky unique sunglasses. I immediately started getting compliments on them when I put them on. They were super cheap at $12 and actually do have good UV protection. Definitely check out this spot when you want to find unique pieces for your wardrobe

I found a few fun work tops and dresses and an oversized soft blazer that will be great for fall. Also a few hair clips. All for around $100. I actually love that the employees leave me alone! I felt free to browse as long as I wanted. I made multiple trips to the dressing room and could just walk right in. There was no line to check out and the employee at the register was perfectly pleasant. I actually may go back today to get a sweater I passed on that I'm still thinking about!

You'd probably need to ask for help with them because they are difficult to get to and look at since it's all stacked on top of each other and behind other furniture. They also have some fabric and books, but not nearly the quantity they used to. Lots of electronics and dishes, cups if you need any of that! Masks are required and they have Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer at the entrance. There is a sign saying you must have a cart with you in order to control how many people can come in, but it wasn't enforced at all.

Went back another day asked for and item that had not been processed in yet be held for me, phone number was taken, I then was called and told the item had been broken. When I walked management out there and showed her how delicate the item was, expressed how much it would mean to me to get it. But the sad part is based on how the employees act I wasn't as devastated as I thought I would be hearing the awful news that the item had been broken and unsellable.

It takes forever to shop because you have to triple inspect everything - poor tagging / holes in clothes and excessive broken merch. There is no way to test lamps because they're removing the bulbs now. Today there was soiled underwear on the floor for the duration of my visit, over 2 hours. The new security guard Zack made me extremely uncomfortable and I'd advise any sole women shoppers to stay aware. I asked the manager Stephanie for help as he kept invading my personal space. She turned and walked into the office without saying a word. It was baffling. I couldn't complete my purchase because I was scared to leave my personal info / phone on the furniture pick up form. He emphatically refused to move away from me when I asked him to in front of multiple employees and Steph, the manager. Zack also refused to give me his name until another customer intervened: If you're not doing anything wrong as a 'security guard' you shouldn't have a problem with providing your name. After I left that same customer came outside to tell me that the security guard was bad-mouthing me. I'm now considering legal action and will be requesting security footage. Lastly, under previous management I'd been given permission to bring my service dog in. The security guard Zack asked to see my pets tag last week- this is NOT allowed under the ADA. Goodwill says their pet policies are determined by management and are due to customer allergy concerns. Anyone who's ever been inside a goodwill knows that's not true. The pungent mildew and perfume aromas give it away. If I ran my business like goodwill I'd be out of business. Skip the east side location

The store is the most organized thrift store I have ever been in. The merchandise is incredible! All staff are very friendly and helpful. I find the prices can not be beat and the quality is outstanding. Even the store manager and assistant manager are helpful, understanding and go out of their way to assist shoppers. I have witnessed them helping elderly shoppers in the store, helping carry heavy furniture out to cars and accepting donations always with smiles on their faces. I will continue to shop here!
